To be honest, no one did anything to get this armor. it was GIVEN to you for free once you hit 50. I think the shells should be brought back...for a price. My idiot butt vendored mine when I got CM items..I regretted that the second RotHC came out and I could no longer get them. They were cool looking, and that is why I think most people want them back. And (correct me if I am wrong) but the classic comm gear = rakata? The gear looks similar if I remember right. So you do have that gear. the classic gear used to be the high end gear before the expac.

You know, I usually don't see many issues with the game, I am able to play it no issue at all. But I see your point and I agree with you despite (what I think) might be an over-reaction. There are soooo many bugs in this game. And, ya, some of them are small. But the Esseles/BT one and several others like that...those should be a priority fix. Flashpoints and quests are a large part of the game. They are SWTOR's selling point IMO, and as such, should work right. But instead what we see are groups creating their own mechanics to avoid or take advantage of glitches or bugs. BW/EA doesn't like us taking advantage of glitches...so why do they do NOTHING to change it? mind=blown. Bugs like this are big. But instead they are happy with fixing "armor blending". "Yea! My armor looks great! But I just cant seem to do this quest without crashing?" FYI, I have NEVER crashed at any point. I know either i am lucky or its my computer/net. But I see people crash all the time. So I know it is a big issue and something needs to be done. OP...good luck on getting ANY KIND of HELPFUL advice from ANY BW/EA employee. It sucks that you cannot play the game in a way that you like...

This is exactly what I think birthright/ inheritance gear should be. Much like...WoW*. That would make those items worth having (to a point) *ya, I am aware this is not WoW and we dont want to go that route. But WoW had some nice features SWTOR should consider

yes and no i think. I always equip modable gear and need roll on an item if the mod/armoring/enhancement is an upgrade. If it is an upgrade, I yank the mods and swap out. This actually led to me getting kicked from a group. A chest dropped for me and it was an upgrade for all my stats and was approprite for my role ( ex. i was a dps and it was str, end, and power. not a tank stat or healer stat on it) and so I needed thinking I was going to yank the mods and put it into my cassus chest. I got yelled at saying I had "mandolorian armor" and therefor dont need it. ya, blew my mind. So modables do help in the sense that they give me a nice look and I can alter it as I lvl. However it does make green and blue ( and some purple and birthright/inheritance ) useless to me. But then again you can just vendor/RE the items you dont need to make some creds. ANYWAYS...overall I think modable gear is very nice to have around.

I am a PvEer. And I would like that mount. And I feel the ONLY way i should be able to get it is via PvP. It is, after all, a PVP reward. And it should stay that way. So this is one PvE player that says "You earned it. Only you deserve it."

to OP. I don't PvP. Well, not often. Maybe a few matches a month. But PvE players have so much that is theirs. Does PvP give Ultimate comms? No. So if a PvP player wants 78s, they need to do PvE. So why should it be any different for PvE players? If you want a PvP reward...you need to PvP. Simple. I would probably be labeled a PvE player. I think these new rewards are great for PvP players. Because, imo, most of the PvP rewards suuuuuck. That is why I don't PvP. zero incentive. But after seeing these rewards...I am thinking I need to work on my PvP skills so next time I can get something "shiny". My point, you want rewards? Do the content to get them. Don't demand it for free (or CM) just because someone worked hard to earn it.

This has happened to me a few times, I am fighting a mob and someone jumps in and starts killing things. I dont mind. It means I can move on to the next. Today it happened on CZ. I tagged a mob with and aoe, then let treek tank while I opened droid crate. Some GS jumped in and started killing things. I did not NEED the help ( I was perfectly able to kill the mob without falling under 85%) but I did not mind. I got my nodes, and the (small ) loot drops. I finished CZ in 15 min cuz people were killing my mobs after I tagged them. This is an MMO and people steal nodes, help people, or even stand there as you die. Fact is, none of those 3 things are worthy of a ticket. Honestly, creating a ticket like that is frivolous and takes up time for the CS when they could actually be doing something important. I can tell you that any CS agent that would actually read a ticket like that would think "So what?" Sorry that you think it hinders your gameplay...but you are looking at it wrong. If the mob/boss is tagged as yours...they just speed things up for you. The only exception I can think of is when you want to capture a bounty without killing it. In that case, say something to the person...kindly..and despite a massive amount of trolls, most people would say sorry and they would leave you be.

Im not sure why someone would not want to do this event...an operation for people lvl25-55? WHY NOT? and online everyone is drooling over the weapons...And a lowbie doing the dailies get close to 100k ( thats about what my lvl33 jugg got in one day in the tunnels. And if you are not max level, it gives you a ton of exp and planetary comms. So lets see...cool rewards (I am not a fan of the armor, but love the weps), experience, an operation, tons of creds and comms, interaction with other players, and something new in the game... If you dont want in this event (that people have been wanting for,what? 2 years?) then dont log in. This is an MMO it will always introduce new things. And judging by the SMALL crowd off people that are crying over this event, gree, the snowballs...etc, they fear change and just need to stop playing MMOs. I participate in new content when it is introduced to see if it is something i want to do. I am not a fan of the bounty event...not sure why. I did enough to get the hat for my smuggler...then stopped. More people are for this event than the ones that are against it soooo....deal with it and stop crying or log off. “You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”

I think this event is great. My lowbie can actually grind for rep while sitting in dps queue if he is too low of lvl to continue class quest. ( and that happens now and then when i run out of exp boosts. And only do class quest) And its a great way for lowbies to make a nice chunk of creds. And I know the relics where brought up. But lets face it, until level 50 (if you are not a tank) relics are not too important. And these new ones give a fair amount of endurance and presence to assist lower level players get a little edge. And it provides protection against the plague, plus. I really hope this event comes back like the bounty event...or at least more often than the Gree.

In the video on the home page, it seems they are making a flashpoint that doesn't have the same objective over and over. So it actually sound like what you are asking...unless I totally misunderstood the video...

I like everything about this event. I joined swtor last year and never got to do the last event, so this is epic. However, I do have 1 complaint....why cant Jeasa have an infected customization? I know a ton of Sith Warriors that like her as a companion ( i like her cuz she is bat**** crazy when you go darkside) and it seems sad that Treek gets to be infected, and Vette, mako..but not Jeasa... so. PLEASE BW/EA?

I love this event. it is not forced. I finished clas story on Ald and didnt interact with any part of event. Until I heard people say event was on. So i gave it a go at lvl 28...and hit lvl 31 by the time i finished. I even did the infect others quest. I love the looks of the weapons...not so much the gear. When I finished my dailies, i spent 2k of the 80k i got doing the quests to buy a vaccine so i could do all my fleet stuff. NOTHING in this game is forced because you can always log off. Sadly, there will always be people that have nothing good to say. and honestly, they need to just leave. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you cant please all the people all the time. I like the way this event was done...the level scaling mobs, the gear, the environment design, the different mechanics in quests ( binocs, escort mission, heroic, etc) I hope this event is gonna be around for a bit,

ya, people want to buy an item for cheap. I dont know many player that say, " Oh you are selling it for 100k? its worth more, I will give you 500k for it". Find me that player! And a few people made a point that if you dont like the lowest price, buy up the cheap priced ones and sell them for more. But while you post those and fight more people undercutting you...you just gave people credits. The people that undercut. They got what they wanted.

I am an undercutter. If I have an item, I will check the lowest price...then make mine cheaper. If an item (revan's sash for example) is marked at 6.5mil I post in chat i am selling it of 6mil and put it in gtn for 6.25mil. This actually happened. people were saying i was an idiot, that it will never sell, that its junk, or whatever..1 hr later it sold in gtn and I was laughing. I undercut all the time, I sell EVERYTHING ( besides green and blue gear) and stuff sells faster than I can post it. "Oh but you are not making as much as you should" And? its fake money. And besides, if someone wants an item...and they see one for 100k and one for 60k...which do you think they will buy? I find most people that complain about GTN prices are people who have an item marked higher than everyone else and are mad because their stuff is not selling. The Players control the market, and as long as we are, I will ensure that my items are the cheapest at the time of posting. And I will make my creds. As I always do.

They used to be really fun. a ton of creds to be made and some cool gear... then they nerf'd the hell out of it. If you are looking for a change of pace...find something WITH a pace. I can stand in one spot for an hr and the sensor goes green then red, find a few comms then jack...

This is your best net. And I am one of those "Pack Lovers" At the moment I am buying the shipment 1 packs.. but after that I will be buying certain shipment 3 ones for the series 808 set... I do a weekly on CZ and buy a pack with the creds I made.. I buy about..9 ish packs a week. and thats about 2mil right there so you can see that if you sold the pack you could buy the item you want. And yes, wait a few days to a week to get a better price.

I think eventually that might happen. When the level cap gets raised or better gear comes out, I am positive comms and vendors will change again. But I dont think they will make any changes without that. A comm revamp is a big change. Like wow and here, comm changes came with expansions/ higher levels.

i disagree with this. I get armoring, mods, enhancements, hilts/barrels for myself an companions. When you do your dailies for flashpoints and just your class quest...I have been able to buy armoring and mods for myself and companion. Its about budgeting comms. And classic comms still provide use. example, lvl50-54. Cant use basic comms. So you run flashpoints, sect x and black hole to get exp and comms. I had full 61s by the time i hit 55, so i was able to do CZ198 and Oricon. That put me in dang near full 66s with ease. While I have not tried it...I would think it would not be easy to do CZ and Oricon in 58s...or lower. IMO ( IN MY OPINION) i think the comm system is just fine. MAYBE the thing i would change is the weekly cap for elite comms..I never hit it, but I am sure people do.

I dont know. Ya, it can be exploited i guess. However, I am sure ways could be thought of to make it less exploitable. like a loss of comms if killed, or weekly caps, cooldown so you can only killed one player every so often. Like I said, I dont PvP much, however I do the ilum stuff and have been talked into several open world stuff. Maybe devs read this and think its a good idea...or maybe they get a totally unrelated idea. I think it could be a fun idea...obviously with tweaks done to it. "But you are a PvEer. What do you care about PvP?" well, just because I do not participate in it, doesn't mean other people don't enjoy it..

I love GSF...i have been wanting something like this for sometime...And I know plenty of others that have a blast on it...so your statement is not close to accurate. And I am repeating people here...but just because YOU don't like it...does NOT mean its a failure...
