I do complain about some bugs. If you browse through my posts you could see it. And bugs are annoying...and some times maddening. BUt I understand why they happen. They do test patches. They test them on their own stations, then probably private servers, then PTS. But as big as they can make those, they cannot totally predict what will happen when things go live. Patches make work. They may work better or too well, or break something. This does not excuse bugs, nor make me less upset. I think maybe the one thing is their responses to us. We are not all morons. They can use big words. They can talk to us as people. But just a basic "we are looking into it.." it is not needed. I get that they don't want to let out company info, but a simple "This is wrong. We suspect XXXX might be an issue. We have a few plans to fix it but nothing solid. A possibility is XXX, and while we are hopeful this will solve XXXX, we do not want players to get hopes up because we need to test it more" something like that. IDK, maybe I am crazy to think we should be treated as humans and not pixels...my 2 cents. no one rage. and yes, I see that some Dev posts are like that. however they are few and far between. Sometimes silence can be worse than being tossed scraps.

I didn't do it. you are welcome to see my gear and achieves...I joined a ravagers 16m and we fought from first boss to last (wiping a few times) but could not beat last boss. And I found out about exploit when I tried forming a group to finish the run. A few people told me why no one would join. I hope the people that did it get banned.

First, I have not done the exploit. I was not even sure what it was until 3 days ago. Now, I have botted diablo 3 when you were able to. And ya, the bot did nothing more than a person could do. And I sold the gold in the rmah. So I have been the bad guy. Until I started playing SWYOR. In this game, I learned about how much fun I could have by playing by the rules. That credit spammers are evil. And as ANYONE reading this will say...credits come EASY. So when I actually found out what it was...I will admit, I was intrigued. But then someone in my voice server told me what they gained from the exploit. And I was appalled! I assumed it was just an easy way to grab some loot for a toon. But what they did with no effort...I told him I hoped he would get IP banned. And I know there are people out there that did it worse than him and they need to be perm banned to! I saw what exploits and scams did to a cool game like Diablo 3...I don't want it happening (or even want to HEAR about it) in this game. This is a good, fun game. And we as a community need to come together and tell EA/BW that we agree with them and want improved reporting system so that honest players can report people for exploits/scams/etc and know that something will be done fast (that day even...but instant results like that are prob a pipe dream) There. My little rant is done. I do thank SWTOR devs and employees for doing their best on this game and want to tell them I enjoy it and wont be unsubbing any time soon. Peace outtie

OH yes you can. My op healer, sin tank, mara and merc dps all did FA story before SoR came out. I have not been in a guild, don't like the drama going on lately In them.. So, you cant get to 60 with JUST the new content without repeating stuff prior to 3.0 or grinding dailies? WRONG. I did. Four times. Like I said, you are rushing through content. I rushed through content on my dps commando and hit 59 before revan fight..( almost 60, but not quite) Just because YOU cant, doesn't mean NO ONE can...

ya, those are usually the reasons. and I will add a bit of my opinion onto those. not swg2.0....never was. never will be. time to move on people. If swg is your love, go find the emu. and as for ops vs wzs? I love ops and flashpoints. and 2 new ops, 2 new tacticals, and some lvl 60 HMs of old 55 tacticals were just fine for my play style. But even though I only do weekly pvp matches, I do feel with all the pve content in this expansion, an equal amount of pvp content/maps/game play should of been added. I feel an expansion should evenly expand the game.. levels, planets, gear, pvp, pve, story (either class or general story)etc. And as great as this expansion was, I feel some stuff was left out..

or the side quest on Dk where you actually have to give the mask away...I was like "nooo. I wanna keep it."

what are you people doing? I have leveled 6 toons from 55 to 60 and only once was I short (by 2 bars) of hitting 60. I use general exp boosts going all the time and went from quest to quest, killing anything in my way, and running daily flashpoints at the same time. If you didn't hit 60 by the time you faced Revan for the first time...you did a ton wrong.

I have not been f2p in a long, looong time. But I do remember a few restrictions that I feel could be altered. Ability to queue crafting. This seems kind of pointless. I dont see why the amount of items should be restricted, f2p and preferred can only hold so many credits w/o escrow, so it cant be about economy. Medical probes should regenerate. Like you (incoming example) start with 3 then you die and it takes say...5hrs to gain another. So if you use all 3 it will take 15hrs for you to have 3 again. This would allow f2p to learn game, make mistakes, learn from it but still be behind Subs. A f2p chat channel that allows f2p to chat freely. They can see that channel as well as the others. This will allow 2 things: 1)They can see everyone selling, buying or LFG on all channels and PM to join/sell/buy. 2) Subs can turn off this chat (like system messages channel) f2p will still see what they put, but subs will not need to put up with the credit spammers. Trading. This one is tricky. The point of restricting trade with f2p is to stop credit sellers. However, there are players that are not credit spammers that could use the ability to make only X amount of trades a day. I have very few ideas for this one. I just think something should be done to allow f2p to trade. Perhaps if a sub initiates trade? I dont know... IMO the f2p in this game is very cool. I see it as a solo player demo. You can do quests, class stories, and play to 50, and be involved in a little pvp/gsf/ fp. As far as other games, this SWTOR f2p model is very generous.

troll newegg. there are really good deals. And Acer has been stepping up their game as far as cheap gaming towers go. HP is still lacking although you might get lucky and find a good one. I managed to find a Dell for 250 that runs the game on med settings. But steer clear of Alienware, Outrageous costs for towers that (honestly) you are just paying for a "pretty" PC

I LOVE my op healer. Even though it was not my first character, it has become my main. I really hope these changes are not as bad as they seem to be in actual game play. With the changes, it feels like I need to relearn Operation healing all over...ugg.

I would just sell it and blow like 200-300 on a tower. I spent 225 on a new(ish) tower and runs the game perfectly in full screen. That being said I am not a fan of gaming on laptops. On towers, if hardware become outdated an upgrade can be done easy. But I have found that hardware upgrades in laptops are just a pain. And assuming you net is ok, you should look into graphic cards, or updating drivers, etc... But I would just get a tower...easy fix if you game at home.

A new race would be cool, but I wont be playing it. Like a few people have stated, its about the armor for me. I have full adaptive on all my toons with full headgear. There was a moment in mumble that someone asked me my Op's race and I had to take of my helmet because I forgot.... New stuff is always cool...but it is not always something most people will mess with.

Well, I did say 3 months but not EXACTLY. I dont remember it in Feb 2013...but that was shortly after I started playing so I was a low level anyways. And there was a gree event this year in March...or maybe it was April...I just remember it was near my birthday...

Gree happens every quarter. it is not exactly 3months, but pretty close. there should be one in Dec. and another in March.

I have that happen. I am doing some soloing and someone flagged tries to ruin it. Know how to fix it, change instance. That usually works. Or if there is only 1 instance, just head back to safe area and repair...maybe clear out bags, go grab a drink...and in a matter of maybe 3 minutes, they will have moved on. Gankers have a short attention span if they are not able to follow someone around. However, you will get those that truly have nothing to do but bug you. so go out, let them hover around you and log out into another toon for a second or two. When you log back into the toon you were on, that works. Ya, they may be annoying, but the second you let them get under your skin is when you let them win.

Not that broke...I am just cheap...If I was broke I would be looking for a computer that will last. Not wasting ~300 on something I am just gonna replace in 2 months and end up giving away. And I am aware it is not the best thing ever, but when I am done with it, I will be giving it to my ex who is just into facebook games and youtube...I just have about 350 or a little more to blow each month after bills. Tax time I will get more, that is the reasoning behind the amount. The amount I get is usually the same each year, so I am able to budget ahead and have scouted out a great system that will last. But I managed to confirm that it does run swtor, at least in low settings, which is good enough for now.

kk There is this one..DELL Optiplex 760 and ya, I usually run on low settings...hate how even cloth is shiny in med/high settings...freaks me out. I am planning on buying a custom one in Jan. or Feb. I will admit, Its a pile...but its good enough for now. Had to call and ask about components just to be sure swtor would run. They checked it and it is compatible...but between you and me I wont be doing any pvp on it.

actually I have an old one that meet minimum system requirements...plays swtor just fine. And this one is worse than the one I posted, and I got it knowing it wont run. And picking a computer better than that, ya It will work...and besides, only needs to last a month or 2. Wont be reposting if it doesnt work because I know the one I found will...just was not sure about the one in the OP...

But I found a prebuilt that is slightly better than minimum requirements. But thanks for all the info guys. helped narrow down the junk.
