  1. I would expect you are more right than anyone, when they announced the "super secret space project" I immediately thought they were just making the current on rails missions multiplayer. Sure it would be more "fun" than the current "im alone in a MMO game" that the on rails experience provides- but it would still be lacking. I do not recall seeing any indication that PVP space would happen in any fashion. I hope for the best, but expect the worst. (or easiest for Bioware to produce on a declining budget)
  2. and star wars galaxies did so good they closed it down....
  3. Bioware will be giving everyone free time, when TOR is F2P.
  4. Yes I understand, we all ( well a good number of us ! ) work full time, I have 3 jobs ! I am on the server Shadowlands, which today (my best day to play) has had issues booting people from the game. It even had major emergency server maintence last time I was playing- so I moved on to doing some work online. It is frustrating, but hardly reason for free time. If you do get some free time out of this situation, congratulations, but then do you not think we all "deserve" some free time?
  5. Its a game. Certainly its frustrating if you cannot play when you want, but surely there are other and better things to do with your time?
  6. I "accidentally" used the feature on one alt, is it character specific? It seems like the character I used it on has better performance in fleet than my other alts. EDIT I just checked, all the graphic options are identical on characters, but still that alt runs smoother on a similarly populated fleet.
  7. Maybe if Bioware designed a "space clown" social gear, it would end up looking like a heroic armor set. Pointy end game bananna hammock spike shoulder pad armor is really a bore.
  8. I have had not one que come up with the group finder. Played two, 1 hour long game sessions with it qued for 3 flashpoints, and neither time netted a group. Two strikes so far, one more and the group finder is out.
  9. 1.3 has increased my load times. Im not sure what happened, but there is a significant difference in post time now, since last night when it was still 1.2
  10. My initial impression puts this patch at 6/10. First thing I noticed, the launcher now takes longer to post. Second thing I notice, game takes longer to load. Third, the camera seems buggy- I think I fixed it by making adjustments in preferences though. Fourth, I tried the LFG and did not get a hit after waiting an hour while looking for 3 Flash Points I was eligible to run. Not a good start in my experience.
  11. Any offical subscribtion numbers are yet to be seen, last anyone knows it was still on a downward trend. Encouraging more people to leave is counter-productive.
  12. Its not about April Fools. Personally, I love a good prank. The point is they teased a mini game, regardless of the ridiculously fabricated content of that mini game, it was still a mini game- which is something the game lacks.
  13. Its not specifically the Ship Droid Experience that its wanted, but mini games, any mini games. I suggest that people would even accept the SDE as a mini game, because they desire any mini game at all.
  14. I found it funny, but the irony of suggesting a mini game as a spoof was even funnier. I was playing the game, going through the grind and found myself thinking that having some other content, even a mini game, to break up the monotony would be great. Then I remembered the Ship Droid Experience. Its not that I am angry they did not implement the ship droid experience. The issue is that this game would immensely benefit from having mini game content.
  15. If that is all you picked out of the entire paragraph, its safe to say you just came out of the closet in blazing glory fully dressed in your white knight costume. Yes I stayed, and guess what, I just bought more time. Further confused? I like TOR (to a degree), but find the game has room for improvement. Confused even more now? Mini games would help break up monotony of quest, wash-rinse-repeat. Its glaringly obvious the game needs some new game mode additional content.
  16. I think I understand the concept, but when you are asking people to give you money every month, teasing them with fake content they actually want seems a little harsh.
  17. April 1st, "fools day". Bioware puts up a video claiming they have a new mini game coming, named the "Ship Droid Experience". Meant to be a facetious prank, in hindsight it was humorous, but many people thought it was a real feature. I thought it was a bit of a destructive goof, and may have disheartened a number of people, even caused the loss of a few subs. This game would benefit from a few mini games. A few small distractions, some social aspects and time consumers would be a huge addition to the game. Waiting for a group to pop with LFG? Play a quick mini game. Want to play SWTOR with friends but not in the mood for the grind? Play a game of Pazzak. Want to get competitive, but in a fun casual way? Join the Swoop/Pod racing circuit and vie for position on the leaderboard. Any number of mini games would go over well. A little effort would go a long way bioware.
  18. Class stories are for expansions. It is very doubtful they will go through all the process of recording all the various voiceovers just for a patch. Purportedly, the voiceovers are what made the game cost $$$ million.
  19. More frequent world events would be great, if nothing else, a distraction from the fact that patches take so long to deploy. Its nice now that the servers have been consolidated, you can get players to run content with you more often- but still, there is minimal incentive for anyone who has run their character to 50 to return to any world.
  20. 1.3 released, rated warzones pulled last minute, free month given out to 50s again- subs reported telemetric style...
