You mean is there any reason to do a new storyline, more quests to give you more xp usually a levels worth, along with more credits/loot? You tell me.

There is no reason why everyone shouldn't be doing this. Everyone can self heal.

You must be new too mmo games because everything you listed, except for space, happens in the majority of the mmo's on release. WoW especially. So it always cracks me up when people post things like this the day of or after a mmo launch. How short term memory some people have. Now for space, you do understand right now they just wanted to make it like a mini game right? It isn't supposed to wow you and be all flashy. IMO it is kind of fun and breaks the leveling mold at times. They have stated they are going to look back at space and pretty much re-do it to how people are hoping. Custom UI etc. will be there shortly as well and stated by the devs already. My advice is next mmo, maybe wait 3-5 months after launch before playing.

IMO it is as of now. Yes WoW has the numbers and the game is still good, but if you were a raider then you would know it has gone rock bottom now. Deathwing, which is the whole purpose of Cata, is the worst raid to date. All of the raids in Cata have been extremely boring and no imagination. ToR, it is hard for me to say because I have been Beta testing for the past 3 months and have loved every bit of it. Once early access started with their final version, I saw so much more improvements. They already have said too there is going to be even more content among many others things starting very soon. I am not expecting their end game to come close to Vanilla WoW or even BC, but if it is enjoyable as Ulduar was or better, then ToR wins.

ROFL I love when such naive people say this. Dungeon finders ruined WoW hahahaha. Nope they made the game better. WoW and their developers who are making horrible end game all of Cata and kept getting worse and worse each patch. That ruined WoW. Dungeon finder is the only thing that helped WoW.

How about let people play how they want. If some don't want that much story and skip a lot of it and power level to 50 so be it. Did you purchase their game for them? Are you paying their monthly fee? Nope. So how about you let them play how they want and you do the same? I don't get why people get so obsessed with what others do and how they play when it is their own money. Also people played beta and may have played their class they planned on and did the story stuff then. Either way, not everyone who bought this game got it for the storyline. Maybe they just want some pvp and/or end game and could care less about the story to get to 50 or quest stories.

Well said. It is funny how the ONLY argument, which imo isn't even a valid one, is they ay it ruins communities. To me someone sitting in a major sitting spamming all channels "lfg for scholo" ruins the community more because people will put them on mute. So what is worse? People adding a lot of people on ignore for spamming channels for groups or people minding their own business lfg with a finder. Which then also allows them to not have to sit in the city but can go out and gather, quest, etc. Other then that, no one can give a good reason why finders are bad. It IS simply because it came from WoW therefore automatically bad and must mean that game is exactly like WoW then too because of it. I hope they put one in soon, which I am sure they will like Rift did after a short time after launch.

GW2 I am sure will have a great start as well, but just like GW1, it will get old and tiresome shortly. It is a free game. They won't keep putting money into new content a lot or things like that. But yes it will have a huge start and bring some things new but after a couple years I see it dying down big time, whereas ToR will keep pumping content and stories into this game. Just like WoW has for 7 years. Just now they are losing their end game touch and maybe focusing on their new mmo more.

Definitely agree 110%. And for those who still love WoW, don't get all butt hurt. WoW is horrible now. OP said to date not of all time so please keep that in mind. I played WoW for 7 years and I think the game is amazing and I do still love it, but Cata was a huge bust if your focus was end game. It went from horrible to incredibly horrible. Frielands was worse then BWD, THrone and BoT and then Deathwing the whole main boss like the Lich King last expansion, was a complete joke. Boring, boring boring. ToR is a breath of fresh air. Yes I did beta for a few months and loved it, but I noticed since Tuesday how much better it got. I feel like I am not grinding but also have so many other things to do. Like pvp, play around some in space which actually space isn't all that bad. Sure I hope it becomes a full on space where we can do some pvp and BioWare already stated they will be looking more at space in time. Flash points have been a blast and for my server at least, the community has been amazing. There is no way this will end up like Rift, Warhammer, LotRO, Aion, AOC, etc. I know not everyone will like this game, but Those who are finally playing it I bet love it a lot more then they though they would. It won't hit WoW's 13 mil mark, but I bet it's peak will hit in the 7-8mil. Thank you BioWare for giving us a new mmo that is imo the best mmo to date.

Both games are completely different. Just because the name "Star Wars" is in it the title doesn't mean anything. Was Tie Fighter vs X-Wing and Force Unleashed the same game? Could one replace the other? No because it's apples and oranges. But ToR >>>>>>>>> SWG by a long shot. The only good part about SWG was all pre-nge and the community because we basically made the content since there was none. That is why most of us loved the game because we made it what it was. Then doing the nge just killed it. There was no rhyme or reason for it. ToR by far is the better mmo version of Star Wars though in most aspects. IMO.
