Look most people dont even want to pay subscriptions anymore and free to play mmos are more appealing. This game will only suceed if very soon they move it to free to play, because look at what coming and you really think with the bad press this game has anyone is going to want to sub to it with better games coming out. Free to play would let people play swtor while they playing other games and raise populations so that it becomes more a sucess, the sub model is failing and that the reason why it didnt sell as many as it could off.

Well in this case it will. SWTOR should been a single player game with mulitplayer options at end and it should been free to play.

Your logic is flawed. SWTOR will flop soon not saving it game was rushed to release and the devs have no idea what there doing they throw out fluff to distract the lesser minded but those whom can think easily see it all for what it is a distraction to retain subs.

Lets face it with the subs being under 700k most likely right now if the cancelation really did cancel, and with coming better games that wont be rushed released you can bet that SWTOR will have a mass fall by mid year, infact by end of 2012 this game will have only 200k subs if that. Fact is if SWTOR released same time GW2, MOP and DIablo 3 they wouldnt have even sold over 1million copys. maybe 300k

The final game of Diablo 3 is very fun to play dont measure it by the beta it didnt give you enough to really get feel for what it has to offer. It has high replayability and new experiences every time even some of the quest events are random generated. GW2 will be very good pvp they looked at what people truly wanted and found way to apply it, it new and a new experience is what the gamers really want. The fact they decided to not make it a grind and a pvp fun from beginning on equal grounds was excellent idea. MOP is actually pretty good alot people will try it, trust me how many times do people go back to WOW to try the expansions, MOP has graphics improvements too and supports dx11. Firefall is the game people dont know much about but one to keep eye on it looks fun and it a futuristic mmo.

Not to mention MOP and SW will take some and a overlooked game coming called firefall looks pretty fun.

What is comes down too is that they were after easy money not retention, they thought people would be sucked in by voice acting and play a bad game over and over, so it become the most instanced based boring questing game ive ever played and if you remove voice acting it has nothing worth while. In truth they are lieing about the subs and this game has probably 700k playing it right now, by mid year I suspect about 400k and by end of the year probably 300-200k players if that.

your hurting what the complainers are tyring to do, if you want your game to bloody faily keep putting them into false sense of security all they care about anyway is the money, they wont do anything if you tellt hem everything is fine only reason things got done was the complaints.

I do it on purpose to teach people not to focus on it. I actually im more like someone whom talkes from 1700 yrs ago figure out why and solve the puzzle. So speaking this modern language is not that important to me and so I purposely just type what I feel at time.

In coming months better games are going to be released, right now people are in denial about amount of people whom have left this game, I will tell you this alot more are going to leave when see the coming games are great and word of mouth from those games encourage others to play them, right now the word of mouth of SWTOR is that the game is junk, it is joked about in gaming chats and considered the flop of 2011, people dont care about sales for it easy to con a consumer with fancy videos and broken promises. What decides a games sucess is if ti can grow in months following it this game has no grown and has declined and no matter what EA/Bioware tell you they are lieing, because if they say the truth it will drop the stocks even further and so they bend the truth by including people whom have canceled as subs. The Deathstar has it sights on SWTOR and is about fire and destroy it from existence.

Because we dont care about it and see it as fluff and something better could came instead of that junk.

You wouldnt be able to say that if what I said about subscriptions and refunds is how it really worked, right now they can padd their numbers for investors and stock prices but eventually they wont be able too and you can bet that this game is about to take a huge hit from coming games. Would be interesting if nature turned on EA for their focus on Mammon and the area the servers are located was hit by a earthquake and destroyed, making the company fall apart under it corrupted foundation which I wouldnt be suprised the devil has something to do with.

But those numbers are smoke and mirrors, the fact is if cancellations worked like they should, It should stop imediately gives refund of remaining months time then you would see the game has under 700k subscribing and playing. The fact that companys get a away with this is wrong the entire consumerism market needs to change so that people can get refunds from subscriptions if cancel if have remaining months left. Why should a company be rewarded money for a product that doesnt even keep the person interested in logging in, they should be punished take a huge finanical drop from refunds,

It isnt necessary for threads like this which dont help the problem game is having but add to it giving false sense of security. Some people standards are extremely low compared to others, the standards of 2003 seem to apply to some people but I can promise you this most gamers have higher standards for a MMO in 2012.
