  1. I literally just rolled a shadow after you whiners killed sage healing, can't you give me a little more time or pick on someone else until I'm at least 50? Maybe I'm jinxed... Perhaps I should delete that trooper alt of mine before its to late..
  2. I want to say duel-spec's, but tab targeting is so horrible. That would be my priority.
  3. F2P has proven itself as a viable means of keeping a game on either life support or a valuable cash cow. Unfortunately, these types of games are usually supported by a skeleton development team with frustrating restrictions, tedious grinds ( unless you pay) and obnoxious advertisements stuffed down your throat. They usually feel like glorified FPS servers to me. Besides, without the subscription each month -- think of how much worse this community could becumz u no d00d? Anyway, if this game went F2P -- it would be a huge incentive to move on and find something else. Steam generally keeps me satisfied until something like Swtor crops up.
  4. This stuff is so horrible looking that I'm actually trying to figure out the psychology behind the art. One person suggested that the creator was a feminist, another suggested that the sage community is being intentionally harassed or "trolled". Both are valid theories, but I'm thinking that Bioware simply has an ineffective interview process when hiring talent. Edit: Honestly, I'm not even angry anymore. I find it fascinating that this company can't create decent looking republic/sage gear. Its like watching a train-wreck. Every time they announce that new armor is coming for sages; I'm all like, "Here we go again!".
  5. Personally, I've never been able to effectively abuse the 13/28 OP spec. I'd rather use PoM + MC over the tele wave combination any day of the week. If you want those end-match DPS numbers that make people scream for nerfs, you can still get that with spamming FP + FiB whenever they're both up. Pushing people towards a pure balance spec ends up giving everyone more survivability, mobility and dps imo.
  6. Champion gear is going to be acquired by credits? Is this confirmed?
  7. Its a convoluted system with no instruction, I'm sure the first few players to figure it out did so by trial and error (i.e. wasting comms). Essentially, you want to buy the "Champion" bags available for 200 WZ comms and 200 merc comms. These bags contain 15 centurion tokens and 7 champion tokens with a chance to contain "unassembled" tokens that can be exchanged for one piece of gear. The gear progression is as follows, starting with least effective to most effective: Centurion Champion Battlemaster
  8. Spamming our "one button rock throwing" ability guarantees that we'll be last in dps.
  9. Macro's are on sale at Amazon. Edit: In fact, there are software solutions that emulate the function of macro keys if the hardware prices exceeds your budget. My point is whether you find combat macros to be "lazy" or "cheating" -- it doesn't matter. They're already available and can't be patched out. Personally, I feel macros make the game less engaging and a bit boring - but it doesn't matter! They may as well add them to make the lives of non-combat macro users lives easier.
  10. Yep. The name of the game is budget, this is why anyone takes biochem. Now instead of farming resources to sell medpacks, I'll be farming for myself. They either need to keep the reusables or drastically increase drop rates.
  11. The point is you have the ability to counter against cloak. Stealth is probably the most complained about ability in every single MMO that has it. I bet the Shadows and Agents are delighted that the ire of the community is currently turned against sorcerers, or else we'd hear no end to all the moaning about how "OP" an integral part of the rogue class is. But I digress, you have the option of nullifying cloak. Its unfortunate that you didn't save your CC-breaker, its unfortunate that you spent your ammo on another ability, and its unfortunate that the general situation turned against you. That's the nature of PvP, its unpredictable and you need to stay on your toes. Handicapping your opponent does equalize the playing field, it just delivers the metals to you on a silver platter.
