  1. I played one JK up to level 30 and got more interested in other classes and sort of abandoned her. Now I have decided I don't like the way she looks so I rolled a new JK (I am going to keep her around and make the companions run slicing missions for credits). I decided to be a dark Jedi and select the meanest, rudest and most cruel dialogue options. I can't stop laughing. Lines like "it seems I'm the only competent fighter on this planet" and "allow me to do your job for you" keep a smile on my face. I only made it as far as the Jedi and have 150 dark side points already. I have decided to be a Jedi Jerk. This should be fun. Maybe I will make some videos and stuff.
  2. One thing that hasn't been mentioned here is the crew skill slicing. While you are questing, you can send your idle companions out on slicing missions to bring back lock boxes. 9 times out of 10 the lock box will contain more credits than the mission cost. Once you have leveled up the skill, companions will occasionally return with a blue box and/or mission discoveries. Mission discoveries sell pretty good on the GTN (except for investigation which is just purple modded vendor trash). Be sure to have the maximum number of companions out getting lock boxes. I don't craft. I am a customer of the craters. All of my tunes have 3 gathering skills, except for one who has diplomacy for companion gifts and LS/DS points. So between the mats, mission discoveries and lock boxes, I make a pretty good income that keeps me in pretty good gear.
  3. Can you even get a 25GB HDD anymore? Almost everything I see is 1TB or more.
  4. My friend, if you are having so much trouble locating a GTN kiosk on the fleet, the last thing you should do is go to the outlaw's den on Tatooine. Its much easier to get a light saber enema than to do any meaningful shopping in the outlaw's den.
  5. I'm pretty sure that Twi'leks, like other species can hide their head slot and show or hide the their dark side corruption. The hook is another matter all together. I personally think that only Twi'leks should be allowed to hide the head slot. The rest of 'yall are just too hard to look at. There should be a "Twi'lek only" fleet too.
  6. Back off topic... Do the male Torgruta's have horns hanging out of their dangle things up front? I would love to see this as a playable species!
  7. I'm sorry you can't get a straight answer. It seems that there are some who base their self esteem on putting others down. Your "juke box" droid, as I like to call him, won't play music while you are fighting to prevent it from breaking your concentration. However, many of your fellow players find ways to listen to music of their choice while playing. I personally have a small speaker system that my phone docks to. I just play music from my phone in the back ground. I don't know about multiple rhythm droids. I wold guess it would work like everything else and share a cool down.
  8. With a scoundrel or operative, you will have stealth which comes in real handy in PVP. Each of the differnt WZ's provides a different opportunity for an experienced stealth player to excel. My operative and scoundrel are in the mid 20's level wise and I am just starting to PVP with them. Slide on over to the class forums and ask around for tips and tricks for those classes in PVP.
  9. Sure, why not. What species is Ashura (inquisitor companion)?
  10. I am reading your post and I am going to help. Go to the server forums (link below), click of your server and you will find a plethora of guild recruitment threads. Read through them and see if any of them sound like they might work for you. Then follow the guilds process for getting into the guild. http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=309 If you play on the Jedi Covenant, PM me and I will get you into a big, active and fun guild.
  11. Every time an NPC is too scared to rescue a family member, repair the power generator, clear ruffians out of an area, retrieve the stolen whatever, find their car keys or generally do their job, take a drink (alcohol poisoning may ensue).
  12. Well, get it out of the way now and you won't have to worry about it in 20 years.
  13. Actually, I would like to see the old wire frame Asteroids game put in as a mini game. Space invaders too.
  14. I would gladly pay $100 real life money for a Star Trek uniform or a borg outfit! The black and white suit and tie that Jules Winfield and Vincent Vega wear in Pulp Fiction would be cool! How about the Droog outfit from A Clockwork Orange?
  15. I guy in my guild thought it would be so cool to have a female with a Mohawk the day he rolled the character. At level 50, he now regrets the decision but can't bring himself to delete the character. I really want to change how my characters look as well.
  16. I would also pay a small fee to change my character's appearance. Nothing radical, just a different face different body type and skin color. I unlocked a couple of really cool Twi'lek skin colors by playing 2 of them to 50. I would really like to apply that to my characters that are already well into the game.
  17. Time in the game is already measured in hours, minutes and seconds such as casting times, companion mission times, cool down times. Why invent some arbitrary new measure of time that would just confuse people? Heck, the metric system doesn't even have a measure for time.
  18. I think it would be player vs house. I will also have fun reading all the rage posts about how someone blew 2 million credits gambeling it away and blames BW/EA for rigging the game and stealing their money.
  19. There are plenty of things you can do to gain extra XP. When you log off, make sure you are in a rest zone like the fleet, your ship or a cantina. Be sure to complete all bonus missions and bonus series. Group up and the end of a planet and do the heroics. Put yourself in group finder and run some flash points for your level. Run a war zone or two and there are always space missions. My advice is; don't race all the way to 50 just to run dailies and and an ops. Take your time, enjoy the scenery. If this is your first character, learn what mistakes you are making and then play another class up to 50. Maybe your friends play way more than you do. Getting to level 50 takes time. I heard a guild mate of mine say that getting to level 50 takes about 100 hours of game time. I don't know if that is correct or not but if you only play for 2 hours a day....
  20. Good to see you took the advice of your own signature.
  21. The OP is wants to give smuggler gear to the warrior so he/she can equip Vette who has most of the abilities and main stats of a gunslinger. I have wanted to do this as well. Maybe they will come op with an option in the cartel shop to make all binds to legacy instead of the character.
