  1. Weather the bound timer is expired or not, I always get the message that I can't sell a cartel item to a vendor. A lot of the stuff I have are duplicates and the GTN an trade channels are flooded with them. I have no use for them and would like to get the credits a vendor would give but can't. Is this intentional or a bug or something else entirely? I have put in 2 tickets and get the same canned response every time. So it seems that everyone is in the same situation as me and can't sell cartel items to NPC vendors. Doesn't make a lot of sense because a price is quoted up at the top of the item when I try to do this. Oh well, such is life. If this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, I'm doing pretty good.
  2. Press F5 a couple of times. The maintenance page is cached in your browser history.
  3. That does seem pretty goofy. To even begin getting legacy XP, one character must complete chapter 1 of their class quests. I'm not sure there is a way to complete chapter 1 before level 10 (if you can do it, you have my respect). Chapter one is generally completed in the low 30's. So if you have legacy level 10, unless you delete characters constantly, you should have a character at level 10.
  4. I would be willing to bet that the Vents, teamspeaks and mumbles of the world can easily be enticed into making a "donation" to EA/BW to not implement this feature.
  5. Great! Just got one last night. I also have the bug that won't let me sell cartel items to vendors.
  6. Weather and day/night cycles would be cool. I would also like to see debilitating weather like sand storms on Tattonie or blizzards on Hoth. Maybe reduce speed or blow your scooter around but improved XP or loot when questing in such area's. There would, of course, need to be a galactic weather service to alert everyone of impending dangers. It would also be fun if the world bosses would go into a frenzy now and then and just randomly run around the planet causing death and destruction.
  7. So what, exactly, is it that you think they have that you don't? Could it be a faster machine? A better ISP? A better graphics card? Perhaps that's all lies too?
  8. Well, since I am a Twi'lek Jugg (played other Twi'leks to 50 and unlocked the species) I went for Vette. I am a red Twi'lek and Vette is blue which means we will have purple kids. There is no option for a purple Twi'lek. I demand that all development be halted and the next patch include only purple Twi'leks. And another thing, only Twi'leks should be allowed to hide the head slot. The rest of y'all are too hard to look at.
  9. I hope you are wrong about this but I am afraid you may be right.
  10. You are absolutely correct. This was a targeted personal attack. The other night, I was talking to the president of BW and he said "you know that one guy? I hate him. I am going fix it where he gets an error when he tries to buy something form the cartel store." You are right to be mad.
  11. I think the most fun way to find out is to just go do some stuff buffed and unbuffed and compare the results.
  12. So the type of person who would spend real life money on in game currency (lets reserve judgment for now) now has a perfectly legal method to do so: 1. Buy cartel coins with real money 2. Buy the cartel boxes with cartel coins 3. Sell the stuff in the cartel boxes for credits. Some might argue that this is a pay to win scheme but giant amounts of credits don't necessarily make a player win all time. Good job at beating the gold farmers at their own game!
  13. Do you have characters on another server?
  14. The raids, as you may call them are called operations in SWTOR. I personally really enjoy them. Most of them take about 2 to 4 hours to complete. Although a well geared and experienced group can knock out a story mode (easy or normal mode) in about 45 minutes. I would suggest that you not race to 50. I like the leveling process (not everyone does) for the story it tells. Each class has a different story. I have played 3 all the way to the end and fully intend on playing all 8. Welcome and I hope you have fun!
  15. I didn't make a stealth character until I was more confident in my ability to play because I knew I would just sneak past everything. Stealth is not an excuse not to fight. It is a way to sneak up on bastards and do some dirty deeds.
  16. That is not what I read. I heard that the TARDIS will allow me to be level 50 in full Judge Dread gear and travel back in level's to assist my level 10 self. So will be like a companion to myself with my companion.
  17. Today is FlippinFlapJack Day! Eat pancakes all day!
  18. Quit picking on the OP. I am a level 71 Cylon centurion and as soon as I complete the next gauntlet, I will have my own TARDIS.
  19. Once, I invited a guy to the guild before the hutt ball match. We start playing the match and he passes me the ball so I run it all they way to the goal line thinking to myself the whole time "why aren't they attacking me?" Look up at ops chat (you know where this is going) I had ran the ball to my own goal line. 2 rage quits. Everyone else just busted my chops for the rest of the match. The new guild member was not impressed.
  20. On the GTN, there is a lack of droid parts. Seeing as how there are only 3 droid companions, excluding the ship droid, this isn't surprising. I don't know for sure but I am guessing that HK-51 will come with some of his own equipment. If all of his slots are not filled, there will probably be an influx of droid parts on the GTN but only for his level.
  21. In most states you will need to get some form of a restaurant license to serve refreshments. You will also be subject to health inspections. There may be some jurisdictions which will wave certain requirements so long as all of the food and beverages are pre-packaged (a can of soda vs a soda fountain) There is a joint like this in my city. According to their advertisements, they have the latest in game hardware and stuff. I think they cater to a crowd that can't afford the more expensive hardware and to people who like playing games but want to get out of the house to do it. I have never been to one of these establishments because I prefer to play at home. However, they seem to be doing a decent business. Good luck to you!
  22. I guess I could have said "Smart @55" but I'm trying to stay within the rules. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_Alec
  23. Yeah, I was hammered when I rolled my main toon and named him "Richard-Cranium". I really regret that now. I should be allowed to change my name to something better. Any suggestions?
