You should have told him/her that you had one to sell for 50K then bought a green one off of the GTN and sent it COD.

That is almost exactly what I did with my first character and a commando no less. There are quite a few people who would tell you that the first character is a throw away. Level up, make mistakes, learn from them then go back and do it the right way with another character. So don't feel bad. You could also try going back to the planets you skipped and doing some of the side quests to level up a little. There is also PVP, space missions and flashpoints that can gain you some righteous XP. If you decide to roll another character, keep your commando around and make him/her do some crafting or something like that.

I really wish they would 1) let us change the appearance of our character (not change gender or species just a different face, hair, cosmetics, etc) and 2) put more customization options in for the species they already have (purple Twi'lek anyone?)

Please don't move this thread. I really want the communitie's opinion on this and the General Discussion is the most active of the forum groups. I have noticed that space missions seem to be more difficult on the Republic side then the Imperial side. Case in point; Kovar Ice Field (republic) Vs Mogur Ice Field (imperial), I am probably butchering the spelling there. I can only complete the mission on the republic side once I have gone up a few levels and obtained better stuff for my ship (Defender and Freighter are the only one's I used). I even got the blue gear for the ship. Even when I do complete the mission, my ship is down to 5% health when I am done. On the other hand, when I do this mission in my Furry with only green mods, I complete it without a problem and have 75% health when I am done. Is this because the Imperial Star Destroyers have 500 more gun turrets than the imperial frigates? Do I just lose the ability to play on the light side? Are the ships different as far as abilities? You could call customer service and plead your case with them. It never hurts to ask. The worst thing they will do is say no.

Yes they do work form all sources and stack with rested XP and any legacy XP buffs as well. So in lowbie space missions where you only get 7 points for shooting down the X of X trash fighters, you now get 10 points.

The game is inundated with imperial and republic banners, low atmosphere probe droids and people throwing balls at each other. I even tried putting some banners on the GTN for 5 credits each and there were no takers. Normally when I encounter an item like this, I sell it to an NPC vendor. Don't generally get much but its something. Does anyone know when or if we will ever be able to sell universally unwanted items to vendors?

This is even worse. I am middle aged and not in really great shape (I know its a surprise because most MMO gamers have the physique of Olympic athletes) and I might not be able to keep up with her. What is the penalty for being bad in bed with a Jedi?

I got the same thing. I opened up a ticket. I bought 3 different things, all of them purple. I can equip 2 of them but the 3rd one throws me an error.

This is really weird and sort of creepy so please take the time to read the post and look at the pictures in the links. I started out on a new server in April and I wanted to play all Twi'leks. I rolled the 4 classes that are allowed (JK, JC, Smug and SI) to play them all to 50, unlock the species and play the rest. I got more interested in other classes than the JK so I sort of abandoned her. I have a strange habit of logging in to all my characters every 45 to 60 minutes and sending the companions on slicing missions (I'm a credit whore). A couple of months ago, I decided that I didn't like the way my first JK looked. We'll call her JK 1. When the update came around that gave us 4 more character slots, I figured this was a good time to roll a JK that I liked. Why not, right? We'll call her JK #2. JK #2 has finished Tython and is on the fleet. I think I should mention that I am playing JK # 2 dark sided while JK #1 was most decidedly light sided. JK #1 has been standing on her ship by the mail box facing the wall for about 4 months now, sending out her 3 companions on slicing missions and sending the credits to characters I would rather play. Not very nice, I admit but they are game characters, an extension of myself. I owe them nothing, right? Well, in the last few weeks, when I go to the character selection page, JK #1 has taken to starring me straight in the eye giving me a menacing look. Its like I have truly offended her and she is plotting her revenge. JK #2 stares off into the distance and never "eyeballs" me. This sounds like you can't sell cartel market items to a vendor either. I can list the unbound items on the GTN but the market is so flooded that I get nothing out of it if it sells at all. Weather an item is bound or not, if it has that cartel market symbol on it, I simply cannot sell it to a vendor.

The companion gifts and crafting materials can be sold as usual but any item that has the little cartel market symbol in the corner cannot be sold to a vendor. Such as the banners (both sides), glowing eyes (red and gold), speeders, pets, weapons, crystals, elegant lounge wear, etc. Again, I can list them on the GTN once the bond timer has expired but selling them to a vendor doesn't work even though I can see the vendor price. Am I bugged, is everyone bugged or is this intentional?

Did that (except destroying them). All of my friends and gulidies have pink/purple crystals, 8 pets and 4 speeders. Everyone can stand around and throw balls at their trainers and HK while their eyes glow. Everyone already has all the stuff I have to trade. So I might as well get the few credits a vendor would give me.

Can't remember the exact words but it describes how the bound timer functions and how to trade with other players and list things on the GTN. IIRC, the word "vendor" does not appear in the response at all.
