  1. I always vote the top healer the MvP. My buddy always votes the top healer MvP and 2 other people in my clan that I know of for certain always vote the top healer MvP. Sounds like you just run with stupid people.
  2. ^ This sums up what I was planning to say nicely. Thanks for saving me the trouble. LOVE the story-driven MMO concept. Makes the game feel fun instead of a mindless GRIND like every other MMO out there (especially lolcraft)
  3. I've been thinking about trying a Vig build purely for PvP (PvE be damned, I'll respec back to tank spec for that) and after playing around with the builder I think this spec seems pretty decent: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#500zMZhrrMrhddMRZGb.1 Since you have more experience though I'd welcome a review and critique. *I should add I still plan to run around in Soresu form mostly, hence some of the choices for point placement. Master Focus (because it might seem odd) is simply for the 10s reduction on stasis.*
  4. I guess it's just a matter of never having mobs live long enough for me to use it if they're eligable. Anything under starred mobs just dies too fast. I always run with at least my bud (and both our companions, dps) who's a healer (I R TANK) if not a 4-man group with guildies. Guess I'd notice it more solo.
  5. True. The random swearing and "bro, broheim, brotato, broski" halo kid speak is more high school level.
  6. Did a search, didn't see any threads pop up that explained this situation: When the hell can you use pommel strike. I've been trying all of my abilities so far and nothing seems to enable me to use pommel strike EXCEPT force stasis. Is that the ONLY ability that will proc it?
  7. This: Sums it up nicely. In PvP guards have good balance with the other classes, PROVIDED that the player is skilled enough to use the guard correctly. But the things people are talking about have to do with PvE. It's already common knowledge that guards (and really all melee classes) have it rough in PvP but it simply means you have to work for it more compared to the ranged classes. TLDR: PvE is what people the "crying" is about on guards (and juggs). All posting "LOOK AT ME!" shots of random PvP battles where you did well has only two outcomes: It's ignored (as it should be) It gets the class nerfed for no good reason.
  8. Ah, one of those "HAI DEVS! NERF THIS CLASS PL0X!" threads. Some things in MMO's are ever consistent. This is how the prot warrior nerf train started after only 1 season of finally being viable.
