  1. Dunno about you, but in combat spec, a sorc seldom gets away from me. Leap > slow > interrupt > DPS > force stasis > rooting master strike > throw > Transcendence > Leap > DPS > Camo when he's casting something > leap > slow > DPS > rooting master strike > awe > leap > stasis They crumple like paper. Maybe it really is the age old case of l2p before asking for buffs? Just use the utilities that buff transcendence and force camo if you hate sorcs. The sorcs that get away deserve to escape, good for them! We don't have to buff sentinels just because some players actually escape, ffs.
  2. I've got a friend that moans about sorcs when he's playing his watchman sent. 'Oh they just run away and I can't catch them'. I think to myself, 'don't you use camouflage and sneak up on them again after they retreat?' Come on guys, the class is fine. Any buffs should be MINOR at best.
  3. Apart from camouflage and transcendence you mean? :/ Really.
  4. This is a joke right? I get 0 deaths in wz's as combat sent, because I choose targets carefully, burst them down and disappear like smoke. What the hell's wrong with sents atm? They're fine. I just am concerned that BW will over-buff it, leading to imbalance.
  5. I've mained a sage since launch and the only spec that makes me groan when I see it coming after me is the assassin. There's no excuse for a sin that claims sages are hard to take down.
  6. The other day we beat a 4 sorc team. I was the sentinel, spent my time perma-rooted, but our scound healer, vanguard and slinger killed them all.
  7. 1. You have to interrupt them in order for them to get 'unshakable'. 2. Melee interrupt = 12s, ranged = 18s. 3. Unshakeable wears off long before your interrupt cools down, meaning you are free to interrupt them again. 4. In a 1v1, you honestly don't have to worry about 'someone else' interrupting them and triggering an unshakeable phase. LOL Your point about sorcs having 'near interrupt immunity' ignores that they have to be interrupted for unshakeable to trigger; and also ignores the fact that unshakable wears off before your interrupt cools down. Have a great day.
  8. I destroy any sorc I tackle solo. What's your problem?
  9. BW, get your **** together mateys. This was reported during testing, it seems, and appears now in Live. I'm goin' out, drop me a note when it's done.
  10. ...Feel the butthurt... Where did the bad nerf touch you?
  11. Call me back when you reach 44% alacrity on a sage / sorc character; which I did a few years ago already. Back to the present day: alacrity and accuracy will both increase in popularity in 3.0. MinMaxing power / mainstat will still provide big hits, but you risk wasting them if accuracy is low; not to mention things like taunts missing. Alacrity has always been powerful, kiddies - it's just that now that BW has finally fixed it by making it reduce cooldowns, you'lll see it around more often. By the way, the changes you'res seeing to off-gcd abilities is surely tied to alacrity changes as well, because (due to lag) fast insta-attacks can get lost in the ether; so the devs are lengthening windows between multiple actions to maximise ability reliability. I logged a bug with BW years ago and sent them my spec at the time, where I was doing 44% alac on 1.5 second GCD. Their first fix was to make alacirty reduce GCD, now they will make it reduce cooldowns. Finally, it will be the stat they always meant it to be. Took them LONG ENOUGH!
  12. TK will be about snaring groups with alacrity, and AOE'ing them while they try to crawl away and escape. Mwahaha! Consider: Base alacrity (7%) + 5% from procs = 12%, then add MentalAlacrity (20%) = 32%. GCD = 1.02 seconds. ForceWave. ForceQuake channel time goes from 6 seconds to 4.
  13. So, there's a replacement for telekinetic throw in tank spec. Will the replacement ability also proc the stuff that tanks need to do their tanking? Or will we still be using TKThrow to proc our defences, and use the new ability in other ways? Also can you tell us when the Sorc/Sage blog is going up?
  14. At risk of stoking fires c(._.c) Why are you ravaging so much? You just need to Gore + build focus + scream. <-- can be done while moving
  15. Ycoga

    So much fire.

I think it was a utter waste of time and a failed attempt at self-aggrandisement. Go outside!
  16. Crit is not as important as power for healers. You can't be hoping and relying on crits that never come. You need steady, predictable amounts of healing. I think only Balance could make a case for crit. (Telekinetics gets autocrit Turbulence and you can safely increase power over crit because of it)
  17. Bonii to damage reduction are always the first choice.
  18. Oh, I see.... This thread is about how the OP got top DPS and Heals in a WZ. Gz?
  19. This sounds like a very stupid idea; you'll be levelling up too fast and outgrowing your current class quests. Making each one completed give you 5 xp. Amirite?
  20. She's a verry flat character. And I'm hardly interested in companions in the game anyway; they're merely stat-multipliers that were needed to complete class content when the game first came out. Nowadays they're irrelevant.
