  1. Pyro pt will be stronger in pvp and be able to hunt people down. That is not to say the sniper is weak. It depends on what you want to do... You want max dps / burst dps or a little more utility? If you want max burst and dps I'd say go with pt they have everything to include great aoe and aoe stun plus grapple while the sniper has a slight edge on utility. Really they are somewhat close in terms with utility with mobility and burst / aoe slightly edged towards the pt.

    This guy doesn't even know the difference between a stun or a mez. I'm not saying that tanksins aren't op but moreso that people who do not even understand the basic mechanics of a game can not cry for nerfs.

  6. lolol all i know is when the nerf bat swings in the mara defensive cooldown section it is going to be great times drinking from the tears of noobs =) Enjoy being OP in pvp... it will only be temporary =)

  8. Deception can beat tank spec if the tankspec guy is using dps gear. Personally though it is just much easier to play darkness and deception is annoying when your stuff is on cooldown. crits = 3k+ non crit = 1k

I seriously hope you are joking... but I feel there is a huge L2P issue here so I'll help out Shock - 0 secs in to fight wither - 1.5 secs in to fight thrash - 3 secs in to fight (energize proc ) Shock - 4.5 secs in to the fight force lightning - 6 secs in to fight starting dmg and heals from channel No energize proc Shock- 0 secs wither - 1.5 secs thrash - 3 secs saber strike - 4.5 secs shock - 6 secs (6 sec cooldown) channel lightning - 7.5 secs LOL clearly it takes 20+ seconds to start healing ... maybe if you are terrible but the normal player can get it pretty quick.... I should charge for my services on these forums. I bet I'd make a killing. You are welcome, pass it along,,,

  11. The only class that was close to marauders level of overpowered in pvp was the shadow tank and thank god they are being fixed. The question is how did the sent/mara avoid the nerfbat? We all know it is coming, the only people that do not believe that it is coming is the marauder. They believe they are balanced and fine. Hell I even started a marauder and even at lvl 18 I am already abusing people with just cloak of pain having a 50% uptime.
  12. Oh noes not again ... let me guess force attacks ignore armor - is that what you think right?? lol =) With that being said despite the slight armor reduction from SA mara's are hands down a better class. They have better cooldowns and more options.

  14. Again, I am sure jugs and vanguards can return 12% of their health every 12 seconds or so + dark charge procs.

Once they get the tank spec down to proper survivability (down from its huge advantage over the other two tanks) they need to also bring shadow tanks dps down to the proper level (down from its huge advantage over the other two tanks) balanced is balanced. It was stupid before when assassins had better survivabiity and better dps than the other tank specs. Mark my words - tank spec dps will be brought down to be more inline with theother tanks specs as well or they'll have to increase the two other tank specs to assassin level (probably about 20% increase). We are all sorry that your overpowered class is being brought in line with just durability this patch, next one will touch the dps I'm sure.

    Tank nerf...

    Lots of people only played tanksin/shadow because it was sooo overpowered and extremely easy to play. I understand your upset about being put in to a somewhat balanced state, but it is for the better of the game. You should be glad that did not touch the tank spec dps as you are miles ahead of both vanguard and jug in this regard. I predict they will tackle that task once sin/shadow tank spec survivability reachs their target point. Think of it this way, pre nerf the tanks line up like this Tank spec OFC (class) (dps) Survivability (self heals + armor) Sin - 7 13 Jug - 4 10 powertech - 4 10
  17. ^ TBH I'm not sure how the damage gap between the three tank specs didn't get fixed. Shadow/sins still have an amazing lead in dps probably 30-40% better dps. Fair warning here - balance and common sense says that one tank spec should not have equal surviv (armor + heals = or are > other tank specs) and have greater dps by an extremely large margin. Expect that to change in future patches once the surviv ability part is on par with the other tanks, which hopefully is the case once these changes go through.
  18. Oh they are definitely out to get him!! They told me specifically that they were because tank spec is so underpowered compared to other classes or the other specs and leaving it they way it is is good!!
  19. well honestly they should have gutted the dps of the tank spec to put it inline with the other tank specs. However they went the wrong way ... but you can't have better self healing and wayyy better dps.... it's called overpowered
  20. I think most people forget that other tanks cant heal for 12%+ dark heal profs every 9 secs or so. Yeah I'm sure that is nothing on a 19k + hp tank... Reality is that people just need to learn to use their brains.

  22. What about low energy high burst classes like the operatives? I know everyone has already thought about the burst aspect of this problem, what I am wondering about is the energy aspect of this change ... Some classes are ment to blow their energy really quickly to get a kill (concealment & deception for example) while others are best sustained (marauder/jug for example) How will us having to use more moves to get a single kill impact the larger aspect of the game? usually one or two kills and I have to probe to get more energy and almost always use stim boost right after the first hidden strike...
  23. they need to increase the expertise curve a little bit more, in full war hero for example you are better off with a power crystal and a matrix cube as the bonus from expertise is less than that of the bonus from those items. With that being said this does change when you start to have mroe than one person hitting you, however from a dps perspective you will do more damage.
  24. Both are good, sent is a little better and completely immune to the nerf bat.
  25. Yea and some people think this is a dps nerf LOL. These changes are awesome for MM.
