  1. v V v (Veni Vidi Vici) has some spots in a to-be-formed Prog 2 HM raid team. Our main Prog 1 team is currently 7/10 HM in Rav/ToS with CM HM clears. Raid times have not been finalized yet as we are still looking to fill spots, however, it will be on one of the following days/times: Mon thru Thurs after 8pm or Sun anytime. Right now, we have two tank and two dps spots open. We are a laid back and drama free guild and routinely run various OPs to for titles and achievements. We also have some dedicated PVP'ers who are well known on the server. If you're interested send me in-game message to Demros or Jaeros. Or you can apply at: http://www.swtor-vvv.enjin.com
  2. Indeed I do have a DPS sorcerer that would be interested. I will contact Qayos in game. Thanks for the response! Cheers!
  3. Are the heal spots still open? I have all three healer classes and can join with the class that synergizes with the other healer. I currently sub in my guild's (v V v) Prog 1 team but am looking to get into a more permanent prog team. I have experience in the new ops (up to Torque in Ravs and Commanders in ToS). I also have experience in the DF/DP NiM just need final boss kills those two. My healers names are El'zad (Sorc), Cylaros (Operative) and Rykaros (Mercenary). I'd be happy to try out on a few runs. Hope to talk to you soon!
  4. Is the DPS spot still open? I have a DPS Sage that would love to join your OPs team. I've been playing this game since launch and took a break when DF/DP came out and came back to the game when 3.0 came out. I've been subbing in my current guild's (v V v) main Prog team and have experience in the new ops (in Ravs up to Torque, and ToS up to Commanders). Anyways, let me know. You can contact me in-game as Demros or Jarrados. thx!
  5. Hello everyone, I recently transferred all my toons here from Begeren Colony and am looking for a HM progression raid group as a healer. I have characters on both Imp and Pub sides that are well geared to run HM ops. I am 5/10 in progression raiding and always come prepared, on time and with a good attitude. My mains are healers -- I have all three types, and in the order of preference, would prefer to play my Scoundrel/Operative, Sage/Sorcerer, then Commando/Mercenary. I have other classes as well. I'm looking for a raid team (prefer Imp side, but Pub side is fine too) that starts after 8PM server time (I'm in California) and am available Mon-Fri, anytime Sat/Sun. I'm available to tryout for any heal spots. 60 Scoundrel (healer) / 60 Operative (healer) 60 Sage (healer) / 60 Sorcerer (healer) 60 Commando (healer) / 60 Mercenary (healer) 60 Vanguard (tank) / 60 Powertech (tank) 60 Commando (DPS) / 60 Mercenary (DPS) 60 Gunslinger (DPS) / 60 Sniper (DPS) 60 Sage (DPS) / 60 Sorcerer (DPS)

  7. I legacy my gear and so it would be nice to be able to choose the "look" of my weapon just like we can do now for armor.
  8. Of course they did. +1 to post count
  9. I have a headache. No one said math was required to play this game.
  10. Exactly. When 3.0 was released, BW knew about what is now called the "Ravager's Exploit". They must have known that inevitably there will be some people who will take advantage of this exploit. Yet they did nothing about it. I'm not saying that those who participated in it should not be punished in some form, but this whole sorry mess could have been avoided. Of course it's not possible to release a game that is 100% bug free, but come on, the Ravager's Exploit was pointed out when it was on the PTS. Releasing a new expansion right before the end of the year during the holidays and not being able to do anything about it for weeks after was just poor planning. Releasing an expansion where you know there are major bugs and exploits, and knowing that some people are going to participate in it, and know that eventually you may have to take the step of suspending/banning players for it, why even go there? Why not do something to prevent it from happening in the first place?

  12. BW knew about this exploit when it was on the PTS yet they released as is knowing full well that it is inevitable that some people are going to take advantage of it. Now, the people who "exploited" should have known better and action should be taken against them for violating the TOS. But that does not excuse BW for releasing 3.0 in the state that it was (there are a slew of bugs -- Underlurker, Revan fight, ability lag, training costs, Rishi datacrons, the list goes on and on) and right before the Christmas holidays when nothing could be done about it. BW knew the there was an exploit. BW knew that some people will take advantage of it. BW did nothing about it until now. It just seems very shoddy to release an expansion knowing that there are people who will inevitably take advantage of the exploit. The responsible thing to do would have been to not release the expansion until known game breaking exploits are fixed. The whole Ravager's Exploit mess is just a sorry mess that could have been stopped by BW at the outset.
  13. I think the CSM has been unfairly blamed for bringing the prices down on purple mats. I'm not saying it didn't contribute to it, but there were other factors that also affected it. I agree that the drop rate on the Jawa Junk was too good and it contributed to depressing the prices on purple mats. But people are either overlooking or not aware of the fact that the Shadow Acolyte pack that was released which contained the CSM coincided on the day they made Grade 11 mats available through the Jawa vendors. Items that you get through a pack have a bound period before you can sell them on the GTN -- I think it's 2 days (not sure). So it could not be that many people were using their CSM to win Jawa Junk and then flooding the market with Grade 11 purple mats. I noticed that as soon as Grade 11 mats were made available for exchange via the Jawa vendors, the prices of purple mats began to drop very fast. The people who had stockpiled their Jawa Junk with multiple stacks of Jawa Junk (through Conquest rewards) were able to cash in as they were expecting this to happen. Then two days later when CSMs were unbound and able to be sold, it further contributed to depressing the prices of Grade 11 purple mats when people started to buy their own CSM to get the drops. It seems like it was a confluence of factors that affected the market for Grade 11 purple mats. Seems like the CSM was a victim of poor timing and release and is being blamed for disrupting the market. Seems like BW should have made Grade 11 mats available through the Jawa vendors first, see how it affected the market, and then later release the CSM.
  14. The first thing I do whenever I am on the GTN (either as a buyer or seller) is sort by price from lowest to highest so the lowest price is displayed first in my searches. You have to click the sort column twice, the first time will display from highest to lowest and the second time will display from lowest to highest. And if I'm buying in bulk, I will sort the other column which is for the price for each item, again from lowest to highest, so it displays the lowest price of each item with a total sales price that is based on the quantity. This will work most of the time unless you are dealing with the only item on the GTN.
  15. Okay, let's go with that. But how do they go from one extreme to the other. When the Slot Machine was introduced, they set the statistical odds to win any of the potential rewards. Based on these initial odds to win, they also knew that it would be easy to win any of the potential rewards. Now what they may not have known is the impact that these odds would have on the economy/market in the game. So they look at the numbers and see that the odds are just too good (which they knew) and so they decide to go the other extreme by reducing it to make it virtually impossible to win any of the crafting mats. It doesn't take a genius to deduce that when you make it very easy to obtain certain drops it will have some impact on the economy/market. They even stated themselves that they saw that the market at the time was not where they wanted it to be with respect to Grade 11 crafting mats: They wanted to make Grade 11 crafting mats more widely available and they achieved it. So now that they have reduced the odds as much as they did, how are they making Grade 11 materials "more accessible to more players" if that was the original intent of making Grade 11 mats more widely available through Slot Machines? Give it a few more weeks and the economy/market will adjust back to the way it was before.
