I was actually more referring to the people of other classes nagging me for not being Watchman I make no denial that Watchman can easily beat Combat in damage, but the implication that Combat is a bad spec SOLELY because of this is staggering and yes, I have had Troopers and Consulars nagging at me as soon as they see my Ataru Form. Feels great to have that at the beginning of a warzone, and then 3 or 4 MVP votes at the end

Combat is by far the most difficult Sentinel tree, but in my opinion it is very fun and more than rewarding to the player that can utilize it properly. I have no wish whatsoever to even try Watchman or Focus, because Combat works perfectly fine for me and anyone that has an issue with that can take it up with my highest damage and 3 huttball scores

I'm curious, how much are "those other companies" paying you guys to bad mouth rival MMOs? seems like it'd be a well paying job...

ooogh, I'd be interested in something like this but I feel my schedule won't allow it...I'm doing the same thing with just one local friend of mine and even that is difficult to pull off...we've been at it for at least 3 weeks and are only level 17 good luck to anyone that chooses to do this

I see a lot of people saying "game sucks, waiting for GW2". the problem is far too much hype was built up and not delivered before the release. the exact same thing has happened in many MMOs before. the exact same thing will happen with GW2 I'm tempted to buy the game myself JUST so I can say "I told you so" everywhere as for star wars? I'm staying. it has far from lost my interest, and I can't wait to see what's coming in the future

ToR should be one guy running around killing random people for no reason on a much less visually appealing game? I really don't see anything at all in this video that makes me say "oh gosh I wish ToR was like this!" really, what's the big deal about SWG? everything I hear about it tells me whoever's going around selling rose-tinted glasses is really making a fortune. now, I can't really say much about SWG itself, I've never played it, but from everything I've seen people mention about it, I can draw almost direct lines between it and Vanilla WoW

I have no focus problems at all, and I'm often complimented in my ability in warzones perhaps you just have some things to figure out, OP?

don't forget Aayla Secura, who actually appeared (although briefly) in the movies, and she used two lightsabers with the Ataru Form

I'm always open to meeting new people, playing together, and all that stuff, but my biggest obstacle is myself. I'm pretty socially awkward, in that I have trouble initiating anything. I find it much easier to be the second person to say 'hi' even then I'm a pretty quiet person, and I'm sure I've rubbed off as a sort of rude guy to quite a few people, but I'm not trying to be. for instance, the other day I was complimented by someone in a game of Huttball that I was the reason we won the previous warzone, and it took me the entire match just to think of a response tl;dr: if you ever come across me on Sanctum of the Exalted (Ma'rii) don't think I'm ignoring you or anything. one, you make it very obvious you DO care by making a topic like this, and that the topics in question have made you mad two, sentinels and marauders play exactly the same. a topic like the 819k thing still has relevance here because a sentinel is completely capable of what a marauder can do, and the topic was about people complaining about the two classes being broken

people are complaining about the brokenness of sentinels and marauders again? that's new. last I checked people finally L2P'd and it's now one of the most useful classes in pvp...

watchman and combat sort of swap back and forth on difficulty and usefulness the class as a whole is difficult to play, and watchman is usually regarded as the better spec due to utility and survivability...but one that truly masters a sentinel can find just how useful combat is

my new sentinel is currently level 16, combat spec. a while ago someone complimented me, saying I was the reason we won the previous warzone (we were in huttball, the previous warzone was alderaan) I like to think I'm doing rather well when I place top in damage at such a low level. it's simply a matter of keeping your focus up, keep Zealous Strike on its cd, Cauterize when needed, don't be afraid to use your buff, and I've found Shii-Cho to be most useful(I do not have Ataru form yet) with Zen giving 0 focus cost Slash. Master Strike is your big damage dealer, always try to use it when your target won't be moving as for choosing your target, never run blindly into a group of enemies. let your ranged and tanks attack first, then move in and attack an unsuspecting healer or tracer missile spammer. I don't even have Force Kick yet and I'm capable of taking down healers while the rest of my team keeps theirs preoccupied. mind you, this isn't even level 20 yet. the game changes a lot once you get different abilities

I guess I've just had too many bad experiences on this forum that I suspected you of sarcasm when you mentioned getting a battlemaster weapon for her. glad to see it really wasn't anyway, more specifically on my question: could I buy a Coruscant Commendation weapon for her? Seeing as she doesn't actually have a "Light I" or "Dark I" alignment, I'm not sure on it

No! This game has failed because it did not meet all the big pre-release hype and did not deliver an absolute market-dominating game the instant it was released, and so is a total failure of a game! See you all when the next "big" game comes out that has been overhyped to hell as well and won't live up to my ridiculously high expectations and fail just like all other games that have come before it! on a more serious note, yes ToR has had a rocky start but it will definitely pick up and deliver an enjoyable and successful game

it's a bug with this quest that dismisses your companion and won't let you summon them from the portrait in the bottom right corner press N to open your crew window and summon a companion from there, I've seen reports of this working if it doesn't, then I can't help you

Jodea, whether you're right or wrong your attitude toward anyone with a different opinion from yours really makes it difficult for me to want to believe what you say. try constructive arguments instead of lashing out at everyone saying "I'm right and you're wrong so you're an idiot" just sayin'
