  1. .... Ever find out who their mother was? Padme is obviously never mentioned in the movies, (Thanks Obi-Wan.) but do they ever figure it out in the EU? In fact, while we're at it, did Anakin ever appear to Luke or Leia after his death?
  2. I can hardly ever find anything other then cantina RP on EH. I can't imagine how you started a fight on Tatooine.
  3. What?! Erm.... Do you know what channel spike is on in Fios?
  4. Read Revan. It explains alot. You'll hate Scourge though.
  5. Well nobody is proud of it. The thread would have ended long ago if JarJar wasn't so obstinate. Twenty pages ago, we could have all just said: "Well this isn't going anywhere. Nobody is going to convince anybody of anything. May as well just end this conversation now." Seeing as this is the internet, that didn't happen, and now anything anyone has to say has already been repeated fourty times.
  6. The Empire he built would have whipped the Yuuzhan Vong, while the Republic he destroyed would have fallen to them.
  7. According to the quote you posted, wikipedia did get the quote wrong.
  8. Lucas' "vision" is that Dartn Ruin was the first Sith Lord, who united the tribes of Dark Side users across the galaxy into the first Sith Empire, which controlled the galaxy for a time. Basically, this means that nothing pre-Bane (Including this game.) is canon of any kind in Georges view of what Star Wars should be.
  9. Do... You have the ability to read quotes? Because it would explain alot. In essence, you said Zone was a liar for saying canon includes unpublished work by Lucas, then posted the quote proving him correct, in an attempt to disprove another part of his argument.
  10. Has anyone done Taris as a Sith Warrior? That seems pretty evil to me.
  11. Wait..... Sorry that is NOT miss information that is an obvious attempt at you lying. they make a point not to mention written statements. Interviews, unpublished script versions and unpublished script notes. What was that? Jesus man, you contradict yourself more then Lucas.
  12. Alternate Universe. Or something. In this story, she was just a Jedi. Not a senator.
  13. Have you ever been really freaked out? Like, do you have a phobia, or some major fear that makes you just lose control of your faculties? That was the situation Padme was in. She wasn't thinking clearly (Emotion clouds judgement and all that.) and she made a rash decision. When she could think clearly, she just defaulted to the Jedi, because that's how she was raised.
  14. She freaked out. She panicked. What is stubborn about that?
  15. Was she even being stubborn? I wrote it more like she panicked, and in a choice between the Order and a half-crazy, Dark Sided Anakin, she chose the Order.
  16. That Padme wasn't a Jedi, raised with Jedi teachings by the Code her entire life.
  17. Not seeing it. Guys fall in love with stubborn women all the time.
  18. I never said she wasn't a bit stupid. She was a Jedi after all, and that situation didn't help.
  19. I think you're underestimating the extent to which Anakin had fallen by that point. He was half psychotic.
  20. 1. You need to learn the difference between a a lie and a mistake. If everyone who was mistaken about something was a liar..... Well, insert punny joke at your expense here. 2. There's no difference between a statement and a written statement, at least not in the rules of G-Canon. 3. Fett is a major character in books that postdate his "death" in ROTJ, that have been classified C-Canon by Chee. That should be more then enough. 4. Why are we talking about this? 5. "Where I have proved that George Lucas wrote the script for ROTJ with Boba Fett dying and George Lucas has said MANY times even as recent as the 2011 Blu Ray release confirming that Boba Fett is dead. In his universe. In the "parallel" universe, which is classified as C-Canon, he lived. 6. Again, learn what a lie is. So, are you going to address my post from a while ago, or what?
  21. She didn't reject him because she held to tightly to the Jedi Code, but because she was shocked at the darkness, hate, and rage inside him.
  22. No, Jar Jar still existed. He was shot in the back seconds into his first scene, to show the Separatists just didn't give a ****. Also, anyone have any input? Suggestions to improve anything I glossed over? (Especially the fight scenes. They would take way too long to describe in one post.)
  23. No. Not in any way shape or form. Maul would've been great as an over-arching villain. In fact, here's an idea: Completely change the character of Padme. Make her a Jedi Padawan (Eventually Knight) at the same level of Anakin. Devote some time to their training in the Temple, maybe even most of the first movie. Then, when Anakin falls in love with her, he has even more of a reason to dislike the Jedi way for not allowing them to be together. (This also gives Padme a more convincing reason to be hesitant to a relationship, other then "I'm a senator!") Over the course of the Clone Wars, Anakin and Padme grow closer together in the midst of the conflict, and we see Maul (On the orders of Palpatine, of course) continue to antagonize Anakin. Eventually, in the last movie, (About half way though?) Palpatine manipulates the Jedi Order into attemping to assassinate Maul, and Padme is chosen as one of the Jedi sent to track him down. Palpatine then leads Maul to her, and tasks Maul with defeating her, torturing her, and using her pain to both draw Anakin to Maul's location, and bring him closer to the Dark Side. The stage is set for Papatine to truly see who would become a worthy successor to his legacy. Throughout the fight, Anakin slowly turns to the Dark Side to best Maul, eventually defeating him by embracing the Dark Side. (Perhaps a duel of Force Lightning?) Anakin returns to Padme, and revives her, but she is disgusted with what he has become, and the hate and rage she can feel swelling within him. She rejects Anakin, (who is too stunned to react) and flees back to the Order, and describes to the council that the Anakin Skywalker they all knew had died in the battle against Maul, and that a monster had replaced him. Anakin, twisting in the wind, turns to the only father-figure he ever had - Chancellor Palpatine. Palpatine then manipulates Anakin into thinking that the Jedi are the cause for all of his woes, and that their doctrine has completely brainwashed Padme. Anakin, confused and hurt, succumbs to both Palpatines argument and his mental ministrations, and joins him to become a Sith Lord. Palpatine soon springs Order 66, and sends Anakin to destroy the Jedi Temple. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan has convinced the Council to send him to hunt down Anakin, and Padme has convinced Obi-Wan to let her accompany him. They are offworld when Order 66 is activated, and as such are not at the Temple or with the Clones when the massacre is initiated. They return to Coruscant to shut down the signal Yoda and Obi-Wan shut down in Episode III. The Temple is a still-burning wreck. Anakin is seething with hatred in the smoldering ruins, consumed by his rage. Padme and Obi-Wan immediately feel the hate Anakin is emanating. They seek him out, easily killing the few troopers Anakin has yet to dismiss. They confront him, (Preferably in a location that has some significance to Anakin and Padme's training.) and the lightsaber fight to end all lightsaber fights begins. Looong story short, Padme and Obi-Wan win. Anakin is cast into the fires burning at the base of the temple. As the fires die, Palpatine (keep in mind, here Obi-Wan and Padme don't know his role in this) retrieves Anakin, and the "suiting up" scene occurs. (No big NOOOOO) Padme and Obi-Wan retreat from Coruscant, hunted by the Clone Army. Months later, Padme delivers Luke and Leia, and dies due to complications. The Jedi, (Obi-Wan, Yoda, and whoever else survived the purge) go into hiding, or are on the run from the nine-hundred billion strong (Because three million? Really?) Grand Army of the Empire. Episode IV is set up. ...... I think I went a bit overboard in this post.
  24. And of course the Jedi didn't do anything about it.
