They seemed pretty frequent drops from random mobs. Lots on the GTN now too. Picked up some for less than 10k. With the minimal stat increase, conspiracy theory...devs are selling the augments and components to absorbs the overabundance of credits in game? -Ashur

I really enjoyed the environment and ambience. My only real issue, as is with many planets, is the recycling of creatures. I figure pixel creatures are tough on the art team for various reasons, but I kinda cringe when show up on other planets besides . Kind of takes "invasive species" to a new level. -Ashur

Let me correct your assumption. I'm not someone who no longer likes Star Wars. I'm someone that does not like the recent change in direction the new owners of the Star Wars IP are taking the story. I grew up with the Original Trilogy. I love the Original Star Wars. This game pre-dates Disney's acquisition and their influence currently. I love this game and its predecessors. The moment Disney infects this game's future content with their tripe will be the day I cancel my subscriber indefinitely. And those that love it can cheer. With regards to your opinion.. ditto. I believe the problem with open world pvp is due to a fairly large portion of the player base simply is not interested, or want a more controlled pvp experiences (on their terms and short doses). We have the option to open world pvp, most simply don't chooss to play in that instance. This should be pretty telling of the interest. The quoted portion may "fix" pvp in the short term but would likely be short lived. This mind set is not "friendly" as its baiting people interested in "shinies" not interested in pvp per say. They might allow or even force themselves to participate just to achieve their goals but would do so begrudingly and likely stop immediately after they get what they want. If the devs continue to present more and more new shinies, these players will likely move on as they are being forced into a playstyle they dont enjoy to achieve their goals outside of the game play. PvP has a lot of issues. Much of which is self induced by the reputation they give themselves. Just scan the various threads that keep popping up. Ashur

Yeah, the devs have said no changes to rng crate drops. I call shenannigans. I dont remember what patch, but prior too it , i geared out 4-5 sets of 248 complete using dailies mostly. That has changed drastically. I have been grinding out about a 8 characters through several dailies per week. I do get an occational 248 gear item but its rare, maybe 1-2 per cycle/ week. The best drops seem to be in t3 with 242s. Hang on to them and upgrade when you have ucs for them. Its grindier. Got a few other tricks, probably known but dont want them getting nerfed and make things more painful Ashur

It appears the rewards were mailed yesterday. At this point, the argument is moot. Bioware has decided the direction the want to go. For me and others, this worked to our favor and is much appreciated. It will make my solo adventures more enjoyable for immersion purposes. However, I do remember the recent stream, they did acknowledge the need to be sensitive to previous award "earners" and would weigh each decision carefully. (Paraphrasing). What that means in the future, dont know. I would imagine things like Founders Title to not be considered due to the inherent meaning, possible collectors edition stuff as well. I honestly expect hk-55 and the story chapter to come down the line, just maybe not the bells and whistles...probably with a price tag. Im fine with that. Ashur

Definately feels like nerf somwhere in the last patch or 2. Maybe not 5.8 per say. Ive run 12 cxp 300 toons throught the varius dailies over the last 2 months. I do get a shocking piece of 248 gear maybe 1 every 2o crates or so. I get the most 242 t3 gear when in that group. Makes it a Lil more bareable getting gear but sets up the unassemble component grind... Ashur...

Im guessing they have done some metrics on pricing. I would love some reduction in prices myself. Im not a whale and i have to choose what to use my "play funds" for, have multiple hobbies. Occationally, ill drop some cash on cc's. However, i dont see myself spending 40-50$ on the newest virtual lightsaber. Will prob spend that money on something more tangible. If the prices for unlocks were 20-30% less, i could justify dropping 10-20$ extra more regularly tho. Ashur

I think the only shiny i find enticing at this point would be the yellow black core crystals. Think they came in the collectors ed. Honestly tho, id rather have the infamous white/black core crystal ala the force unleashed. To my knowledge, devs have never addressed or spoken on this request....since launch Ashur

I was kind of watching Pantheon. Not sure ill bite tho. The state of mmorpg's is really bad imo. It's kind of adopted the disposable mentality. Create a new flashy, dupe the players for a while, squeeze them dry then move to make the next flashy, rinse and repeat...... Very few games really dig in these days.
