  1. 1 - 49 doesn't matter, it's a joke and your queues are 1 - 2 mins. At 50, also doesn't matter. You leave, you don't get commendations. That makes you ignorant. Leaving the battle loses you valor and also you get no commendations or any legacy or money. If you stay and lose, you still get xp, money and commendations. So you have to be pretty ignorant to rage quit because you're "losing". Punishing these people with a deserter debuff will just make them stay in the game and still be better off if they stand in the corner without participating since after the game's over they'll get rewards. Everyone in PvP wins, just one team wins "more".
  2. Apparently sorcs can continuously stun you (I can't turn or move or pass the ball) even when the bar is fully white. I have to wait for them to be knocked back by an ally or CC'd by an ally before I can continue walking very slowly due to other snares or be able to pass the ball. The good news though is that at least one class's (you guessed it: sorcerers) resolve system is working fine. Because their resolve bar doesn't even have to be over half white for them to be immune to grapple or any other CC. But then again, they're sorcs. That's why you see 90% of emp are players of that class (that's right, it's not actually that the majority of the playerbase is obsessed with lightning only affects, but have instead chosen to roll the most OP/rigged class to boost their e-peen). So fix resolve? And have one of your devs try to go against a Sorc (Merc too while they're at it) in Huttball. I mean I 'm assuming Huttball is somewhat important to factor in while balancing the classes, seeing as how 99% of all PvP is Huttball. I mean don't get me wrong, you can 1v1 in a duel in certain areas, but I don't think the majority of PvP is done through dueling. Just a hunch.
  3. I didn't realize a snare was when I'm electrified and unable to move or turn. what's the difference between that and a same duration stun?
  4. My bar is solid white after being knocked down and stunned/rooted multiple times. And then some. It just happened I shoulda recorded it buy when my bar was solid white, a sorc up on the ramp cast a lightning and i was stunned again for a good 4 seconds. this is getting ridiculous. it's funny how resolve works fine for other people when I try to grapple and they keep walking.
  5. why is it when my resolve bar is full i still get chain cc'd and stunned, usually by sorcs.
  6. How do you know they're the team's healer? They don't have to be playing the role of a healer in order to heal themselves. Same for Mercs. I see them doing MT constantly and when you chase them down they knock you back and heal themselves, then you're back at the beginning, only you're dead.
  7. no I did not say I don't interrupt. I'm just getting tired of people thinking interrupt is an "iwin" button. Of course I use interrupt. But how beneficial is it really when they can just quickly go to the next heal in their rotation? Let's say I have "Attack 1" and "Attack 2". If I'm casting Attack 1 and you interrupt it, then i can just cast "Attack 2" immediately. Then I can cast "Attack 1" right after "Attack 2". See? Your interrupt didn't do anything but delay your death by 2 seconds. Grats? Same thing with healing abilities for sorcs.
  8. Well then maybe because I'm a power tech and my dps is in the DoTs apparently that's why it's no use against them. I guess I should just roll merc for PvP if I expect to kill people.
  9. I'm getting sick of you people (trolls) saying to interrupt. Like I already said, if I interrupt one spell, they have plenty others they can cast. Interrupt needs to silence completely for 4 seconds.
  10. Well I've got nearly full champ gear and am using 4/6/31 build TD/IM/FB/RS have 11% PVP and 5228 - 7498 ranged Pri
  11. Their DPS is fine but they can also keep spamming innervate and dark infusion to full health. Meanwhile classes like BH can't take them down because our heat will get too high even after venting. If we "interrupt" one healing spell, they'll just cast another that's also under 3 seconds. They don't need to run they can just stand there, heal themselves, and do better dps than you. There is no pvp situation where you can take a self-healing, descent dps-dishing sorc down 1vs1 unless you're a sorc yourself or you're dueling (maybe).
  12. Do people just run into the door and side step right to get stuck in that door or something, or are they jumping the wall at the beginning some how and getting "inside" the door before it closes? I'm seeing people to this a lot. Also some players planting bomb in stealth mode (last night)
  13. Yeah the pre-mades are getting annoying. They should even put 4 man premades up against other groups with 4 man premades to make it somewhat more fair. I'm the only 50 in my guild that PvP's and by now I see the same exact people in PvP (I get Huttball 99% of the time). And one they get to 5 scores they start farming for their e-peen.
  14. In Huttball, I'll be stunned constantly, even at full resolve. That last 10 meter stretch between the fire and their goal line, will take me 30 seconds to walk and getting an insane amount of heals because of how many stuns or whatever I can't move because of. I have one thing on a 2 min CD to break me out of one, but dozens more follow immediately and I'm helpless.
  15. If you have melee and sniper on your team, going up against sorcs/mercs, you're dead, assuming everyone's equally skilled. You have to be a premade with voice chat to take on a pug of sorcs/mercs who are geared as well as you. The Mercs can do insane DPS and knock you back and heal themselves. If there's a sorc near by too, RIP. Every other class, except maybe Scoundrel, I have no fear of and enjoy playing against. It's mostly a fair fight each time unless they're a fresh 50. They may have a knock back or CC but it's not followed up by them throwing insane damage from afar and healing themselves.
  16. In an interview with Gabe Amatangelo, he stated he prefers everything to be in-game and contextualized. But he said it's not his department to say so and he can't say for sure if Bioware won't allow add-ons later down the road, or at least more UI customization or UI add-ons. Go to about 19:00
  17. Too many people here think add-ons are cheats/exploits that level you to 50 on auto-pilot and max your crew skills while you're sleeping. Or that they give you such an advantage over everyone else. Or that it will mean players will form things called "guilds" and only allow people in that meet certain criteria based on inspections, because all the guilds now that have formed friendships, will immediately turn on each other and will gkick mediocre geared members once add-ons are made available amirite So I don't think it will happen due to the ignorance of so many people.
  18. Ok, I wanted to share a screenshot of a video I took in a warzone match against Republic (I'm Empire, obviously). Every single time we get this wz, it's the same exact pre-made. http://i.imgur.com/oeYwx.jpg Notice anything in this screenshot? If not, I'll clue you in: there is a healer standing by the ramp to upper level, just throwing heals to their allies in the mid turret area. Every single match I try to go after and interrupt this healer, but they are able to stealth away some how, and also hardly take any damage while somehow having their health gradually go up as they run away. But what I'm really posting here though, is to find out why people usually don't notice the healer. Am I just a baddie and need to l2p since the healer isn't really a factor in taking down their allies, or what? Everytime the healer goes untouched (other than by me) and my team wipes because they couldn't burn down the dps'rs or tanks. Does anyone else notice their team never going after the healers?
  19. Why are they allowed to run around and heal allies to full health?
  20. You are completely wrong. By now, there is so much more Empire, that Empire gets nothing but Empire matches in pvp, so they're growing sick of each other. I just re-rolled Republic so I can level to 50 and kick everyone I hate on Empire's butt.
  21. yeah i'm working on that. but i'm not always by the pit. maybe I am by the third knock back they get to spam. if a sorcerer knocks me down, I do not worry about getting killed immediately after. mercs, different story. I have to dedicate my game to finding them and controlling them as much as possible to protect the others.
  22. And moving to be in los for them is too hard, right? If you're melee you can't take them. If they start casting on you and you run out of range, their missles still land.
  23. I don't understand how you're supposed to have a fair fight with these guys? Everytime I go up against this merc in Huttball, they sit up top, and fire down missles that take half my health away. I am a powertech with 18k health and mostly champ gear. They have mostly champ gear as well. If I charge or pull them, they can knock me back. This merc knocked me back THREE TIMES within 20 seconds. Mean while I've fallen into the pit and have to wait on longer CD's for grapple and charge so I have to run back up. The damage they do is insane and completely unfair. The tracer missle and whatever else. If I interrupt it they can cast more op attacks anyway. All they have to do is tracer missle, knock back, repeat, and they win.
