  1. No, did I stated something that would suggest so? If yes, sorry for the confusion and let me clarify this matter. As I said - it is ironic. Despite Revan's redemption and his role as hero and savior, in the end he was the one responsible for Republic's downfall. BEFORE his redemption did he intend for the sith to become stronger than ever? Yes. It is possible that AFTER his redemption, he had forgotten about his holocron on Lehon, or just simply ignored it, thinking that noone would ever seek it out. Anyway, how are one's intentions related to what he actually achieved? No matter what his latter intensions where, in the end he is one who is responsible for ultimate victory of the sith. It may have been the last thing Revan wanted but it still does not change anything.
  2. It is a bit ironic because while Revan was redeemed and was so desperate to sacrifce everyting in order to save his beloved Republic, in the end he is the one responsible for its downfall. Few millenia after TOR, Bane uses Revan's perception of the dark side in order to create the Rule of Two - new philosophyical apprach of the sith. It will ultimately lead to the annihilation of almost the entire jedi order and formation of the Galactic Empire as we know it from original trilogy. While Republic may have bested Vitiate's empire, in the end it got destroyed and reformed from within. Revan was the one who instructed sith in their victory. No matter how Revan's story is developed and expanded in TOR, this is the ultimate outcome that can't be altered. I like this, as I said very ironic and interesting story twist. Because of Revan, sith managed to defeat the jedi for the first time in the galaxy's history. By use of the most powerful weapons dark side has to offer - deception, cunning, manipulation. So you could argue that Revan was in fact the most powerful sith ever - without him Palpatine would have never managed to rule the galaxy. Hold on haters! I am not claiming that Revan is the most powerful character in SW universe - it is possible that there were more then few sith/jedi who could have pose more than a match for him in open combat. I am just saying that you could portray him as the one who accomplished the most. Power can vary a lot. It all comes down to your personal, subjective opinion and the way you interpret canon lore. On a side note, one can only wonder why Revan did not return to Lehon after regaining his memories. He could have destroyed his holocron and stop so much evil from ever happening...
  3. Lol, can anyone confirm if this is true? If yes, it is time to sink BioWare in the tears of all English speaking warriors! LET THEM FEEL THE EMPEROR'S WRATH!
  4. I think that I am with Spartanik on this one (at least partly)... You have to admit that this guy got a point. It is kind of... I don't know maybe sad, to claim that certain character IS MORE POWERFUL BECAUSE CANON STATES SO - THE END, YOUR ARGUMENT IS INVALID. The reality that applies to all countless Revan vs Vader, Sidious vs Vitiate (and the list goes on...) topics ever created is that it is impossible to definitely state the unquestionably most powerful characters. It all depends on the situation and the way you interpret it. "But from an artistic and dramatic standpoint, this kind of question has no “right” answer. Each character has strengths and weaknesses, and they grow and change as their stories progress. On any given day, at any given time, under any given circumstance anyone can win or lose. That’s what dramatic conflict is all about."
  5. Noone knew as much about killing jedi as HK-47, you nasty, little meatbag! "Answer: Select grenades, sonic screamers, cluster rockets, and plasma charges. Mines are also effective, since many Jedi will run to meet you in hand to hand combat. Silly Jedi." - HK-47 to the Exile on how to kill Jedi
  6. WHAT IS IT I SEE IN THIS THREAD - HERESY! I CALL UPON THE REVAN INQUISITION TO PURGE THE UNCLEAN! FANBOYS, MY BROTHERS GATHER AND KILL THE MUTANT! FOR THE EMPEROR... erhm I MEAN FOR REVAN!
  7. Yeah, I was expecting a bit more from this quest after I done it. :<
  8. no u stop trolling mr. MERE LORD draanok the peasant :< As for the Emperor's Wrath title - BioWare please, can I have it already? -,-
  9. Wow, just wow. You did an outstanding job, kudos. While I didn't read through the whole thing yet, I'll make sure I do once I have some spare time. And then I shall point out what I agree/disagree with.
  10. I laughed hard at OP. Made my day, keep on trolling! +1
  11. Troll moar biacz! Vitiate, same as Bane does not care about meaningless, hollow titles. He is beyond such primitive attempts to raise self value. He does not need to feel better through praising himself. He just simply does not care. In the end all he cares about is his personal power and as far as he is concerned, noone needs to know how powerful he truly is because it could pose as a potential threat to him. "He is neither dark nor light. He is more than that - he is a void..."
  12. As for the jedi knight storyline, Revan would fit in it very well but it would cause many controversy. Why? People could get mad that BioWare is favouring JK class over other classes. I personally believe that if BioWare ever decided to release KotOR 3 instead of SW:TOR, JK storyline would actually be the KotOR 3's storyline (of course partly, probably many things would have changed). It is even possible that orignally BioWare was planning to create KotOR 3 but ultimately decided to create its first MMORPG. And they used KotOR 3 storyline for JK. I think that Drew Karpyshyn was the one working on JK class story. Also, I don't get why people keep saying that Revan should return as a force ghost. To become a forst ghost you firstly need to die. And he is not dead, you never see him die. He just vanishes/disappears/teleports, interpret it as you want. BUT HE IS NOT DEAD. Just as he was about to die he shielded himself and was immune to all incoming attacks.
  13. Added about 500 words to the whole thing, mixed between different chapters. I also corrected some gramatical errors that I managed to spot. Expect more updates to come very, very soon but from now on newest version along with future parts will be available only on: http://lorefreak.blogspot.com/p/revan-short-story-part-1.html
  14. This man speaks the truth! http://lorefreak.blogspot.com/2012/02/character-spotlight-1-lord-vitiate-vs.html
  15. We finally know the name of the new novel set in The Old Republic era that Drew said he was working on for some time. It will be called: STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC: ANNIHILATION. UPDATE: Let me give you a short, overall summary of the novel's plot: Republic agent Theron Shan and his Twi’lek compadre, Teff’ith (from Dark Horse Comics’ STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC: THE LOST SUNS) must contend with a Sith Empire counter-attack against the Republic, spearheaded by the lethal apprentice of Darth Malgus. Satele Shan and Jace Malcolm co-star in what will be a fast-paced and tension-fraught tale based on the award-winning video game from BioWare and LucasArts. The book will be released this year on 13th of November. Make sure to check back at LoreFreak for more information about the novel as we get closer to its release!
  16. You could always just solve the puzzle and get full set for your T7. :> It is bugged though and you need to run out of your player phase and reset it. When you come back, you will be able to loot the chest. But as someone said already, BioWare nerfed the Emperor to such an extent that you don't need to do this. I killed him with literally 100% hp and had like every single cooldown available.
  17. I found him on Coreila, don't remember where exactly... I think it was in Axial Park.
  18. Yeah, so? I know that HK will probably be available once 1.3 hits, but right now we still have 1.1.
  19. Yes, I know there was a yellow post by someone from BioWare, confirming that HK-51 bonus companion is not yet present in the game thus is not available for players to obtain. This is not what I am talking about though. Today, I was finishing storyline on my JK and completely by accident stumbled upon 50 lvl elite with 32k+ hp. And guess who it was? HK-51! I am not trolling, if it were not true I wouldn't even bother to post it. Still, I knew some people would be rather sceptical about it shouting "screen or didn't happen bro!" so I thought that making a screenshot might be a good idea. Here you go: http://oi44.tinypic.com/b5rurq.jpg What do you think? :>
  20. Hm, maybe because while he might lose his position and with it some of his influence in the Empire, he will still "do the righ thing to do" even for a sith. First of all SW could realize that Malgus got a point (reforming the Empire and removal of its prejudice) but most important of all, after you meet voice of the emperor on voss you are given a hint about the Emperor's true plan of wiping out entire life in the galaxy - including you. I believe that in future story chapters Sith Emperor will become Baras 2.0 and you will do the same thing as your successor, Lord Scourge did - betray your master in order to survive.
  21. Will we be able to change our legacy name (for example via paid service)?
