  1. Why don't you ask him yourself? The more people ask, higher the chance of him actually giving some sort of answer. Drew Karpyshyn was a lead writer as well I believe.
  2. Just contact me in-game if you have one that you are willing to sell, paying well. Nickname: Devizz (Empire)
  3. Bring back the Gree event, I beg you. I just came back to the game recently, (with the release of the Rise of the Hutt Cartel) and I never had a chance to do the Gree event. Could you please bring it back? Anytime soon? :<
  4. As the title says, in my opinion BioWare should make all vanity cartel market items legacy bound so that we can send those items to our alts. As an example, you have Revan's mask on your main and want to send it to your alt so that he can wear it. You can do so if the mask is still BoE, but if it is already bound to your character, you can not. I suggest that BioWare changes that, so that upon equpping, the item becomes legacy bound instead of bound only to the said character. If you approve of this, please sign simply by typing /approve in your post. Lets hope BioWare sees this and take this thread into consideration.

    The Revanchist

Well, still - wasn't he just simply following his master's grand plan?

    The Revanchist

He did indeed, but I believe that Revan was the one who gave the order.

    The Revanchist

Good read and I very much like your theory. All we can do is just wait and see. Though I am 99.9% sure that we will eventually see Revan in some future content patch. The question is: what role will he play in a great scheme of things. Anyway, I will be happy with anything that BioWare throws at us as long as Revan will realize his flaws and redeem himself in some final confrontation with the emperor (by sacrificing himself thus finally ending his story in a proper way).
  8. Yeah, how could the Dark Council possibly know where the Emperor resides, given the fact that even his personal executioner, his Wrath, has no freaking clue where his Master is. The Wrath is supposed to be his will and yet he is kept in the shadows. Only the hand guys have some idea of where the Emperor is plus some members of the imperial guard that moved the Emperor's real body. What I think happened: Emperor was so furious, scared and paranoid after what happened (the whole jedi knight incident - remember that the Emperor was afraid of death thus was obsessed with his own security, he realized that if it was his real body and not his voice, he would have been dead) that the only people he would trust where the ones he mind controlled (he kept those closest to him under his direct influence). Remember, the Wrath was NOT under the Emperor's influence, while he was supposed to be the will of the Emperor, he still had his own will - his mind was his own, and that was not the case for the hand and some of the emperor's personal guard.
  9. Because huge number of people that play this game for the sake of its storyline are actually big kotor fans and feel very attatched to the Revan's character due to many nostaglic reasons that you could not possibly comprehend if you have not played the old kotor games as a kid (I was merely 12-13 years old when the first KotOR came out... still remember how epic it was to be able to play through it for the first time).
  10. https://twitter.com/hallhood/status/322715009400569856 I asked Hall Hood directly via the twitter in an attempt to get some hint about Revan's potential future fate. Here is the response that I received: @hallhood Kudos to the entire BioWare team for Makeb - simply amazing. I hope we can expect more story content soon (Revan's return perhaps? @LoreFreak1 Hehe... we'll see! Glad you enjoyed Makeb! Interpret it as you wish, but he did not say no. As I said numerous times: mark my words, we will see more of Revan yet (would have been better to get brand new single player RPG game, but that is so not going to happen).

  13. "He opened himself up to the Force, letting both the light and the dark side flow through him like twin rushing rivers." Nuff said.
  14. Lol... big thanks for making me laugh.
  15. They probably always considered it an option. But why do it if people keep on paying. Things were going very well in the first month, 2 active million subscribers sound very promising... the number dropped by almost 75% though, and that is A LOT. They are no longer making enough profit to maintain this game on subscription-only pay model. Time has come to initiate Plan B. Don't get me wrong, this might in the end prove to be the best solution for everyone - for both players and the BioWare itself. There are many very successful games out there that are based around f2p model. It might also be the beginning of the end. Only time shall tell. I keep my hopes up for the better future.
  16. I keep on pulling strings from within the shadows. Keep it up guys, it is truly entertaining and alas, amusing - to find that such... pointless debates are still in fashion.
  17. Just speculations, noone can be sure. Its either fake or Revanites somehow managed to give the mask to Revan. As for the second option - if it were true, it must have happened somewhere between the Maelstorm Nebula prison and the Foundry flashpoints but it's unlikely that Revan traveled to Dromund Kaas just to meet this cult and reclaim his mask. BUT he somehow knew about the Revanites when you talk to him in the Foundry... strange. After you tell him that there was a cult founded in his honor, he answers: "So I heard, not what I would have wanted, given the things I did". Still, revanites probably did not knew anything about Revan's true location, as far as they are concerned, he killed the Emperor and claimed his place. Nutjobs... or are they really? Also, at the end of quest line (after completing it) you receive a mail from some Revanite who's name I can't recall now. It ends with the following words: "Mask of Revan shall serve a higher purpose now."... or something along that lines. Make of it what you will, it is open for interpretation because of lack of official confirmation. The closest thing to such can be found in an interview (3rd question): http://lorefreak.blogspot.com/2012/03/exclusive-interview-with-drew-karpyshyn.html.
  18. Rofl... they would not dare. They went for it with Nihilus's and not Revan's mask for a reason. Nihilus is a character from the game that they did not create thus they do not really care about retconning it. Revan is of a different matter... I hope - he plays a very important role in SW:TOR's storyline. I would be fine if they introduced some very hard/time consuming quest chain (similar to the HK-51 one) that rewards you with mask of Revan/Nihilus/other villain/hero. The said quest should make some sense when it comes to lore of course. But selling mask of such an importance in in-game item shop seems... greedy and not really fair towards loyal subscribers to say the least.
  19. I have a question concering the future potetnial expansion packs (and the route that you plan to take with SW:TOR and its updates). Well... what about them? Now that SW:TOR goes free to play, will thisfact somehow affect your plans for adding content? Will we now see content updates only in form of patches? Or can we hope for full expansion pack? And if you release said expansion pack, will it be available for free only through means of download or will you release it in standart form of normal game that can be bought in any gaming store?
  20. Your very own mini-kreia pet coming soon to BioWare store!
  21. Noone is insulting you (unless you consider my last sentence as an insult? ). We are all adults here that are simply having a civilized discussion, right? Some snarky comments now and then can happen when two individuals are taking a part in debate and are having difference of opinion.
  22. Vitiate without any doubts. And then there is the whole sith triumvirate - Traya, Nihilus and Sion. They all had some very impressive and unique powers of their own I suppose.
  23. Do you have any proof to back up this point? Because Revan would destroy Obi-Wan. See what I did there? I mean, your view is so narrow and limited and it just showes and proves how ignorant you are.
  24. I cease to comprehend why people are always so hung up when it comes to someone else's opinion on the matter that is so vastly open for interpretation. You can never know who would win/who is stronger - from a dramatic standpoint it is impossible to determine this. Every character got his own perks, whether they are strengths or weaknesses. One small thing could occurs that utterly changes the circumstance and the latter victor becomes the one who loses. I mean seriously, I find some of you to be really pathetic with their "You know **** about canon lore and this can't be true" attitude. People can think whatever they want and if their opinion is that Revan is more powerful than some other jedi then so be it. Get over it, geez. Now as for what I think - don't get me wrong, Obi-Wan is an exceptional jedi and all. His mastery of the soresu form is impressive, I admit. He is out of Revan's league though.
