  1. After 7.2 the achievements for Luck of the Draw are not displaying the correct information for Let It Ride and Authority on the Subject. It is now displaying Cartel Coins 0, Fleet reputation 0, and Legacy Title Undefined. Objective Master and Take the House are fine.
  2. I know she's not a popular companion, but one of my smugglers actually has her as his significant other. I was surprised that he didn't even get a letter when she came back into the story. Seems a missed opportunity. A letter can't be that hard to compose and use the companion flags to send to the appropriate characters. I do hope there's some acknowledgement in the 7.2 story. Sometimes I think you forget that there's more companions that we haven't heard from in years. Thank you though for those you do remember. It adds a depth to the game that's not found anywhere else.
  3. Ran some heroics with a friend of mine last night, she had the droid active, I had a regular companion. She received 2 modules, I received none. Earlier in the day I soloed a few heroics with the droid out and received 3 of the modules. So I do believe she has to be active for world drops of the modules.
  4. 10th anniversary was overhyped and underdelivered, but did they really say what they were delivering? Some outfitter updates, the addition of a second class for the characters, a new operation, level increase, a bit of story, new character creation screen, preview screen (that still doesn't work right), and a grind for more gear. The forum updates came out of the blue, the new launcher came out of the blue, some of the balancing changes came out of the blue. And here we are. Maybe great things are yet to come, but I'm not holding my breath.
  5. I'm blasé about GS3 other than it gives me something to do rather than the same old, same old. I couldn't care less about another companion other than getting another couple of level 50 for my crafters. I'll likely not get the achievement which doesn't bother me either. The drop rate for the GAME modules is poor, and I doubt I'll do enough weekly crap to make up the difference. As for the cartel coins, I guess we're lucky they give us any at all. They could have replaced everything with packs.
  6. You can use those yes and if you're in a guild or have a small guild of your own, you can purchase the reputation perk to increase rep by 5%. It might help a bit.
  7. Huh. So there are world drops if the droid is your companion? Would have been nice if they'd told us this. I don't recall it being mentioned. But, yeah, it'll be a pain to have the requirement for her to be a companion to get the modules to drop since many of my other companions are already level 50. Maybe they're trying to get more people to buy the commander's compendium with cartel coins?
  8. You may be right, but just thought I'd bring it up. You're also correct about the GAME modules. Not everyone will be able to finish the weekly stuff. As for me, GSF gives me motion sickness and I don't PVP any more, and not everyone does group content. The rewards from the daily/weekly GS3 tracker won't be enough, that's for sure, we get 10 every week or every other week? I guess we'll see how it goes, but I'm not sweating it. If I complete it fine, if not, oh well.
  9. I noticed on first day GS3 was available that there were only 137 days remaining. Were we give credit for the 2 days lost by the delay? Did you move the completion date to the correct number of days? Those 2 days could make the difference whether or not some people complete the achievement. Please verify.
  10. I finished the 20 cheaters and it only took a little over 2 hours standing in one place waiting for the single npc to respawn every 5 minutes or so. Then I waited for them to count their chips, play the game, yadda yadda, until they decided to cheat. I didn't have to fight for it, nobody else was there, but still, the only challenge to this was to my patience.

  12. I would if I knew where to find a crash log. I didn't see any in the logs folder.
  13. Couldn't agree more. I don't do Ops and I don't PVP any more but a nerf does effect the casual player. Their attempts at balance never works and I'm wondering what stats they use for these nerfs. I stopped playing my lightning Sorc because of previous nerfs and it looks like they are trying their darnedest to make me stop playing her again. Taking longer to kill a mob isn't exciting, it's boring.
  14. I believe I discovered a possible bug with the new launcher. If I use the enter key on the log in or play screens instead of clicking on the buttons, the game shuts down and I have to relaunch the launcher. Other than that, it seems to work well enough. I guess we'll see when 7.1.1 has to download.
  15. Thanks for the increase, but I was thinking exactly the same about the cap. By Thursday or Friday I've hit the cap and with the proposed increase I'll be done even sooner. Even a small cap boost to 1200 or so would be helpful.
  16. After 7.1 I'm now getting Systech armor drops in heroics and planetary dailies instead of the occasional HELPFUL drop of 10Tech frags, 5xResource matrixes, or 5xFP stabilizers. I don't recall this new gear being mentioned in the patch notes or the removal of the 'bag of drops.' 7.1 introduced another gear grind, which is okay, but why replace upgrade items with armor that when deconstructed gives some tech frags, a few conquest tokens, and WZ upgrade items? Why take away the gear upgrade items from those who gear via conquest and not PVP? Not that I mind pvp people getting some stuff, but don't remove what others need for this new gear grind that was introduced. I don't understand the reasons for this change.
  17. Pretty much. Manaan will be wasted content just like the Tradehouse missions which were easy to do, didn't take much time and used to give at least 400 tech frags and an equipment crate. After level 80 it gives 100 tech frags and that's it. No longer worth it. I suspect Manaan will go the same way once everyone gets their decos and stuff. Then the bioware staff can look at their metrics and wonder what went wrong and why nobody is using the content anymore.
  18. I have no idea why they did this except to make the grind worse. Sometimes I wonder if the topic of meetings is "How can we make the grind grindier?" It makes no damned sense at all.

What's the incentive? I hope bioware rethinks this and doesn't let this area go to waste.
  20. It's just a letter, but a very nice letter, and it's better than nothing at all. It gave me an Awwww, moment. So, I'm quite pleased.
  21. The bit of story was nice, and it brought into play some older story lines, so overall I liked it. I just hope they don't wait too long to continue. And yes, the little note from Theron was a nice touch. As for Manaan, it's great to do once for the story, but I won't be doing it on every character. Once is enough. Other daily areas give tech fragments or matrixes to help with the gear grind, which we have another one now. So, it's not worth my effort. I do have to ask, what's with this green systech gear that falls from heroics instead of extra tech frags or those purple things for upgrades? I don't get the point. You can't do anything with them but sell or deconstruct unless I'm missing something. The other stuff I haven't messed with yet and doubt I will.
  22. Great idea, but GSF gives me motion sickness, and I don't pvp anymore since I developed some hand problems. So, grind it is. Oh, well, it's nothing but time. I figure I'll get there in a month or so.
  23. So, basically, they gave no credit for ones we already grinded for and now we have to grind tech fragments again so we can equip them after the update. Good grief, Charlie Brown. This will take a while.
  24. I have on different characters and it doesn't even show 1 for me in the achievement list for that. Do I have to do 2 for a single character?
  25. Supposedly there's a way to decrease the cost of the legendary implants for alts but I can't find any way to do this. It says it's linked to Legacy of the Sith achievements, but darned if I can find them anywhere to know exactly what I have to do. Can anyone help with this? Please and thank you.
