  1. And to add.. The alternative is removing the expertise stat. Which means PVE raiders would be the top dogs in terms of gear. Which would also mean, the Empire would probably still take the lead. More people playing = more chances to run instances/get a chance to even go = better gear.
  2. I understand that to an extent. But that would really only make an exacting difference in a premade vs premade, where one was under geared and the other decked out with max expertise. Not to say it doesn't play a factor no doubt, as in any MMO, gear matters.
  3. Oh no worries here on my end! I was just concerned you'd get disheartened by the quick about-face the thread made, into jabs at you.
  4. I am pointing out to you what the deal is. I'm not saying what you need to do; but your posts make you seem like you're in your teens. Especially in light of saying things as such: Do what you will, obviously, it's your right.
  5. I could make some cliche statement about brushing up on your German, ladida, etc. But that would be, exactly that, cliche.
  6. Well for starters not capitalizing the first letter in the majority of your sentences makes your writing appear childish. I don't mean that as a snide remark, but more as the guide for why people think you're in your teens (whether you are or not is regardless to me). It isn't about being the grammar police; you have to understand that the way you type influences peoples perception of you. Everyone makes typos, misplaces a word, etc.
  7. So you're actually suggesting teamwork and strategy are the keys to success in the warzones? In a team-based competition-style game? Seriously?
  8. But I thought winning as Republic was a myth?
  9. lol with a "z" makes it hardcore.
  10. It isn't new at all. Operatives, Assassins, Scoundrels and Shadows can knock you down, completely, to the ground.
  11. One time Smooches said she had something to show me. Turned out to the worst surprise I've ever received. ever.
  12. Bioware's overuse of yellow hues especially in the Republic fleet station, and other areas (including player skills) is what quickly turns me off from being republic side. Not to mention how lame the majority of the Jedi classes look, armor wise. Wedding dress Consulars and Samurai Knights - uh, no thank you.
  13. Wheres the rollback for all the insane valor gains? Oh that's right there won't be one. Great job.
  14. As was said, Valor is only from WZ or kills. You didn't get it through farming the walkers. Good try though.
  15. I am not even home from work yet and find this disheartening. I hope these rumors about insane valor gains are false. Either way, pre-release Bioware gave us the "200 vs 100" Ilum pep-talk. It sounded amazing. However that was not realized in any remote form in ilum. From being in BETA, I knew the end game wasn't ready for release, especially the end-game PVP. But I'm sure Lucas and EA forced BW to release in DEC. Ilum was no-where near complete, and was, for lack of a better term, a hallow-empty shell of a PVP environment. Due to the complications created and the moaning on the forums about people objective swapping they decided to make the dailies kill dependent. And as result the servers whose faction ratio is like 5+:1 have seen the results. Farming, to the point where republic players can't even escape Ilum. Time will be the requirement for this fix. However I hope any insane valor gains are properly fixed, as per a valor rollback if needed.
  16. Yeah it does look like a missing texture. It doesn't look very lightsaber-ish. And seeing the red and black blaster bolts flying around is almost comical to me. As I've said, if you dig it, great - but for me at least, it's almost like a bad joke.
  17. Yeah for sure. And as you said, if you dig the red and black more power to you - it's just, I can't stand it. And I feel I should have the option to change, or at least, maybe have duplicates of the same weapon with different colors. etc.
  18. 0/10. RP or not, which I'm not, has nothing to do with this. So you're saying you like the red and black? Since you said nothing else. The problem is choice. I should have the ability to choose what color I want.
  19. I actually quite enjoy these greedy players - especially when they get angry and start trolling. The other day I saw these two guildies operatives going to middle on alderaan (The Civil War) instead of defending the two turrets we had. I was one of two people guarding the right turret and saw that the left only had 1 defender. Low and behold the republic players took the left turret and the Operative in middle got clipped. Then he proceeded to put into Ops chat "STOP GOING MID YOU MORONS!".
  20. Forced Color crystals on PVP Weapons I can't be the only one who dislikes being forced to use a specific color for either a lightsaber or for a blaster pistol. But what really irritates me, is the Battlemaster colors. Red and black. Absolute garbage aesthetics. If you like the red and black, more power to you, but for me, I can't stand it. It's bad enough Bioware takes away "unify colors to chestpiece" with the "uh, well, we'll get back to you, but we don't want to add it and remove it later" love letter. But now any customization is gone. I could get over looking like everyone else with the PVP gear, but now even the saber/blaster color choice?
  21. More often than not, when you hit that hard it is a killing blow. Even "overkill", as in, they have 1k health you crit for 3k etc. If the kill is a killing blow, the "5k" crit won't count. If you hit 6k and it isn't a killing blow, you will get credit for the 6k.
  22. PVP Heal Stim + Biochem/Vendor Med-pack + Basic Heal Skill(s). Even without a class capable of healing, using a high tier Biochem med-pack and a WZ health stim would probably top you off, or close to. As far as that 300k + 80k healing Sentinel -- he's using med-packs. Surprise, surprise, Biochem and perhaps some healing from his build, if he was specced in the DOT tree.
