A long time ago, during beta, a handful of builds before the release build, the Marauder and Sentinel were easily one of the worst classes in the game. There are reasons skills like this exist now.

How would you get the gear without PVPing? At least this is a predictable grind - and perhaps now the "flee in event of possible loss" syndrome will be lessened.

Full Madness is amazing in the right hands. I'd never do full lightning myself though. And full healing (Corruption) is very good, Force friendly, and AOE awesome. But I agree with you for the most part.

And they shouldn't. The class itself is fine, the 3 main trees are good. But the hybrid DPS builds are over the top. Lightning needs the Root and Blind because everything they do is cast-based. Madness being mostly force lightning and dot damage, is about movement. (Thus No CD FL, insta-cast AOE, Wrath etc). The main issue is with the Madness Lightning hybrids.

This. Marauders and Sentinels are PVP Gods in the right hands. Their toolbox is full of amazing things. If I could stand the thought of making another SW, I would level a Marauder without a doubt.

The bottom tier Powertech tree is OP. I'm currently specced: Art of War 3/3 50/75/100% Chance to make someone who can't properly write the English language angry. This causes them to CC themselves, by alt-tabbing and creating a thread on the PVP forums. Godshot 1/1 Increases railshot damage by 600%. If Railshot kills your target, they lose 2 levels.

I don't blame you. As I said, outside of the hybrid DPS specs, which I feel offer too much utility, the class itself is fine and I think you'd see that as well. I personally enjoy trying the different classes, for insight to how to beat them, and the stories.

It is fitting isn't it? I don't care what you do or level. But if you were serious, which I doubt, it is my opinion entirely that your judgement of a class prior to experiencing level 50 PVP is subpar with the reality of class balance upon reaching, and getting geared at 50. Obviously that answer would be to your discontent. Sorcs and Sages have it really good in 10-49, and get a reality check in 50. The biggest balancing issue with them is the DPS hybrid specs. But the class itself is fine.

If you think they're such Gods, why don't you roll a Sage and find out. What I play or don't play is of no concern to you. Whether I play one or not has no bearing on whether you can yourself. Have I played a Sorcerer before? Of course. I have one. I'm leveling a Merc to eventually go full Bodyguard spec. I've played every Empire class except Assassin. I don't see your point. You're just firing from the hip.

An assumption continued to become a fact. Bravo. My Main is my Powertech. I'm hard pressed to see how my main has magically transformed into a Sorcerer?

They do stack, at least on your character. If you get hit by 2 different Tracer-missiles, you'll have two different stacks. So much so that some Raiding Mercs have commented that their 31 pointer (Heat Seeking Missiles) gains the damage boost from OTHER stacks; and recorded doing like a 8-9k crit. (HS damage goes up 5% per armor debuff). Hearsay and speculation in of itself, but I can confirm that at least, Tracer Missile debuffs stack. I've had 2 on me before. If Gravround debuffs don't, that is a whole 'nother story entirely.

Jediduckling's lack of capitalization also needs a nerf. Maybe their posting rights as well. And the bad grammar. Or the all caps signature, also riddled with mistakes. No one is perfect, but it is just so hard to ignore ALL CAPS in white. I'll just have to assume English isn't their first language, then everything makes a lot more sense.

Commandos also have the ability to make a casted ability an insta-cast. Use it for CC for example: For Mercs, its Concussion missile, like a Sorc's whirlwind. An Arsenal merc has 2 knockbacks, and the trait that gives them the second, also makes their base knockback launch enemies much further. Electrodart Concussion Missile (2 second cast, can be made instant) Jet Blast Rocket Punch (Arsenal, or Heal/Arsenal Hybrid). The biggest problem for Commandos is the lack of an interrupt. I don't really see why they can't have a 12-14second CD interrupt.

What would the difference be between fighting 5+ Commandos Heal/DPS traited? In my opinion Combat Medics/Body Guard (Merc) are the best single target healers in the game. They'd be missing out on the teammate pull. I'll give you credit on Huttball a lot of sorcs can be a pain.

I eat sorcs on my Powertech. Marauders, at least the ones who learned to play their class, love eating Sorcs/Sages too. But I guess you'd rather just re-roll and then learn the hard way how foolish your "FOTM" intentions were, as you get eaten alive by a skilled Powertech or Marauder. What am I saying? Yes! Roll a Sorc and play rated Warzones!

I'm not sure if you're being serious. If you are, you're a perfect example of the type of people who come and post completely false information and then moan incessantly on the forums about it. Force Lightning is a 3 second channel. It comes out to net loss of 6 force. It is not a 6 second channel.

Feel the same way, the Pyrotech level 40 set is my favorite cosmetically. Georg mentioned in 1.2 that orange gear would be able to be used for endgame, so I am hoping that also includes removing the armor mod from level 50 Cent, Champ and BM gear. The level 50 PVP gear doesn't vibe with "BH". The level 40 gear is exactly what I think of, not to mention the same gear shown in most of the trailers with Bounty Hunters :\.

The devs have made comments in Beta to the effect that huttball was designed around many of the abilities the classes have.

I was able to do it on level by kiting as Pyro. First time I didn't kite and got clipped, the second time I kited and it was more-or-less smooth sailing.

This I agree with. It's a stupid fix. People can still use it.
