  1. Drama again ? When you will understand, that your brain is evolved to do things, not to consume rewards. So most happy you're when you "grind" then get rewarded properly. All you suggestions around are to skip "grind" part in many ways and step directly to rewards. Once you will get it, next your word will be "unsub". It's just human nature. I returned back 4 mo ago after 5 years break. I did all stuff on my 1 char, made 258 and even beat own record in pvp! It was 21 medals per match, this year I got 23. Also fought my laziness and did extra 4 chars till 50 to get complete 8 set. So I don't think all here was bad. Just nothing to do more "grindy" till September, only "rewards" left. So now I'm playing relaxed mode - do couple stuffs per day like FP solo or pvp daily, just to get a bit of challenge and off. (P.S. ye - other chars are crafters only.) P.P.S If they add expertise/token/whatever back for pvp ... well, since I love both pvp & pve, I will swap to pve I guess. Because there I can do challanges alone any time, like MM FP wipes for many hours till it done. No need to have other peoples. And both will need grind. So priority will be for simpler thing.
  2. Hah, nice to be remembered, or you just clicked link and checked posts ? Still, I think expertise is bad move Been with/without in many games including this one. Btw I basically crafted my 258 doing pvp - mats & money from + cc boxes during. That extra expensive one just got from gtn.
  3. dont play arenas - problem solved. Happy to die 20 times for those jugs and dont allow them to take point = my win. Arenas might have sence, if ANY hit kills. So you just dance around who does this first. Or power of hit depends on something like how fast u can click mouse - can u do 100 clicks in 5 seconds or not. Current "just press btn" when power is random-computer-depended has no sense. It measures nothing except "u was lucky to make 3 crits".
  4. Just made 258 weap/shield bcs everybody want "achivement". So I didn't bother - 2-3 weeks and all is crafted. Craft some 246 items for secondary chars.

I feel like it is on DM .. today so many pro-premdes in regs. not usually seen such, Like 2-3 ppl same guild + using grenades + using chained stuns ... ...ya, but when mara wastes opening chain - he just runs away not trying to capture - funny ... Btw, post above - "totaly random" called "regs". Ranked was made for to match by ELO. That is main purpose of its creation. Because old days premades with voice comm were wiping randoms. So Bio made special queue called "ranked" for them.

To counter all ingame crit boosts you should have chance like 73% +. Practically, 65% shield rate works ok, however sometimes you get hard hits when they use short time +25% crit boosts.
  7. Give shadow tanks chanced heal as old good days back. I.e. procs of Combat technique additionally heal. Balance shadows (serenity) can do more heal too (as it was initially). That has sense - if you want kill such a shadow - dont do 5 people assisted leap on it. For infiltr. not sure. Played it 1 week since 2012. Never liked Shadow Stride may be changed to jump to friendly target additionally - any other class can do that - op/jug/mara kinda (with no target jump)/pt ... Return back teleports, which are sage exclusive now? - Some item may do that 1st class. But ye, hardly miss self heals. That's why never played infil - bcs it never had. Basically you can use initial design as reference - that was really cool. Not sure why you had to change that. Maybe u can make it look new - for example "vampiric force" - critical force hits heal user for some amount (critical aoe on many targets heals many times). Important. It should trigger all relics too, so can use healer's one to make mega heal (and loosing some defence/damage of coz). Or it can be just random, like 30% chance of any hit to heal (and that is just copy of healing Combat Tech ). Or it can be just plain - 5% of damage actually done heals you (i.e. accounting all resists on target). So in pvp people will think ...if they want be full dd, when others heal-to-full hitting em. Counter critical - shielding/resisting/dodging crit automatically grants crit for u on next ability.
  8. Have 5 in legacy.4 are used for ALL mats for ALL profs. And 1 extra for trash things like ...anything else. Align mats horizontal, not vertical. Then it fits 2 -3 profs (kinda 2.5) in 1 tab.
  9. It is since winter. All tank stats are working. Shield is counter crit. Shadow tank with over 65% shield chance easy holds 3 snipers and kills 1 of them alone. Actually I met couple times tanks geared with 258 dd gear VS my almost 258 tank ...well, they lost.
  10. Use CC gear from 300 boxes. More then enough for pvp. About sets - go on swap 2 relics & 2 implants just by clicking it....it needs to pop damn boxes which cover 2/3 of screen. Also try to change gear in fight. Usual scenario - killing mobs & incoming pvp - since then I hate it. Was using PVE gear only for instances. >>pvers reasons for disliking pvp gear are hilarious. Simple answer - learned "Elite Warlord" 5 years ago TWICE (because it was no server merges yet, so created new char on new server)... still remember 30 vs 30 pvps on Voss for WB etc...

    Juggs have "Chill". I played jugg about 2 weeks this year- did KotFE and couple pvp ...It's a must to use non stop at least for tank - chill with masteries. Also can speck some other things there to cleanse slows/roots. But ye - chill is ur friend (and guard!!) otherwise slow move & die. Btw I feel not fair compairing jug & shadow tanks ... in short fights like pvp jugg seems better - becausee of huge self heal on low cd. They nerfed shadows who was doing that like 5 years ago ... maybe time restore back?
  12. Nah been there. Current single gear is just perfect except lockers to slots as mentioned. I'm already tired to have 2 sets on DD char to make it tank to do weekly "4 MM FP". Don't need any extra pvp set in my hands. 5 years ago it was like that: 1. pvp set for me (2nd stage out of 3) 2. pvp set for healeer comp 3. pvp set for remote dd comp 4. pvp set for melee comp 5. updated healer comp set to rank 2 And all this just to do black hole dailies to get some credits. Because some servers were pvp ... And now, how do u suppose to add to comp pvp stat? They don't gear any more. As for trixy/pve - my 7 chars are pretty ok currently in pvp in basic 230 gear bought for comms on fleet wich farmed by 8th main char. Didn't even bother doing Ziost+ by them yet.

    Right. That what "objective" means - dps should not win always. Sometimes it is better just wipe urself ASAP and do things unexpectedly having all cds up. For example, stealther has the choise - stealth out and save urself, or die and return with stealthout ready = +1 long control.
  14. In regs I just put a mark on cheater, in 7 of 10 cases it helps. Even cheater cant resist 8 ppl hunting him alone. Of coz, some situations like HB + cheater op are hard to counter...
  15. Funny is, it does not help in pvp too much too at least jumping. All melee skills have at least 4m range to prevent this. And channels work like 180 degree. So running around may only work if opponent is lagging (desync or so). Best I read in chat, "Battle for Illum" - "Last boss is hard, because you should interrupt" (!!) Nobody knows this skill today, pvp/pve...no matter.
  16. Just craft it. Problem solved. Takes about 2-3 weeks with 252 gear to collect stuff if you don't have cache/ resources collected before on 1 char. Can speed up to 4-7 days by using guild/many chars/etc. Made 258 main ... had 36 transmatters collected during doing kotfe on 1 char already. Everything else took 3-4 days intensive play. For offhand it seems will be 4-5 weeks on 2 chars, since I have to collect everything again.
  17. winings .... play shadow/pt tank and use pulls Met once proper shadow our line who was doing resilence prior unstealth .... so had to walk there and guard line...after 3-4 failed their passes they lost will to win

Not sure about windows, I play on linux: https://serverfault.com/questions/623780/low-latency-tcp-settings-on-ubuntu this one: net.ipv4.tcp_low_latency=1 TCP_NODELAY is set when program opens socket, i.e. should be compiled into binary. Upd: checkecked link from prev post, named same key there TcpNoDelay so it must be it for windows.
  20. I still don't understand why u care at all ranked... Only gear & fun matters - not leader boards. Ranked & guild challenge could have sense if they give some unique gear as reward. For example some kinda OP where you fight each other for the right kill boss. If u wiped - welcome back to fight with players again. And then this boss drops something true unique 1 item. For example 1 per week per server. Then it will be fun.
  21. So, I was not crazy Some exact players do cause the lags...and very often they're top in table at the end... Lagswitch or speedhack? Forcing reload all. Or maybe another possibility - TCP caching setup on him & you... I disabled TCP packet grouping/caching forcing to send any piece of data it has. Now pvp is a bit smoother for me.
  22. Yes. Also got new one. Defenders die if pushed into shield wall before bridge controls. However not exactly sure for that, I pushed guy to ledge where wall end, so he stopped falling kinda hit the wall then died

If you didnt get friends in game, eventually you say "no fun" and stop. Happens in any game.
  24. Another game had it. They moved secondary stats to "fragments" which were random dropping and shared on account, then you could select what you need by any character. However, I hate to play many, so I had 1 character and had to trash 99% of fragments and my personal gearing was way slow. I.e. my point is - if you plan moves, make sure 1 char player will not be slower then 20 toons players. In SWTOR i still hate many - sometimes i can do PVP on them for CQ reward but 90% of time i stick to 1 character.
  25. In PVE it's easier .. as for me Explaining takes significant less time then fp/op lasts. Besides you rare do 30 random FPs in 1 day (you could stick to some ppeople, like 5-6 rans with same randoms), while 30 PVP matches are easy.
