  4. This needs to happen. Although some of the people are right about the needing more than one, but for starters i think one is enough, the people can complain about it not being enough later. I would be satisfied with one, 80 slots is a lot.
  5. "A group of silvers" Might be because youre in a heroic area, or just outside of one, the heroic mobs dont play, a group of 3-4 strong enemies will **** you sideways.
  6. Lol, i cant believe people are complaining about Merc DPS, if you cant get almost 3k dps with the simplest roatation in the game...there's a problem.. But BW, good job with these answers. Even if you regurgitated what you said to the sorcs just more eloquently worded. I.E. "you can heal and have utility, get over it"

Tanking will be easier to get que's for groupfinder ops/FP's but tanking isnt something just anyone can do, dont be a noob and try to tank if you have no idea how to play it, you'll waste a lot of people's time that way. Of course, if you know how to tank then by all means, go for it. dont mean to come off roughly.
  8. Personally, I think the crafting system is fine how it is, sure, you can make some quality of life improvements, but most of those are just ease of access. Think about it honestly, you have to do nothing to craft, just spend credits while your companions do the various tasks, it requires no effort, there really isn't much you can do in the way of making it easier. The markets on most servers have gone down significantly because of the ease of the crafting system, there's no effort required in this game except clicking to make your companion do it. In some MMO's people don't craft at all, because there's actually effort that needs to be put into crafting, when you make it this easy the market gets flooded with the same stuff.

  11. They may have reacted differently, but only because people raged. Even so, the changes aren't monumental, and a simple rollback would fix pyro/assault, the defensive changes are nice, however, I don't see why the dont make chaff flare work the way it does for Arsenal/Gunnery spec, in it that it absorbs 2 attacks. Little better odds at surviving a crucial hit in that. To be honest, KO was much better pre-2.0.
  12. Here's my question. What on earth possessed them to nerf CGC by 50%. Were there that many people complaining about pvp? Because we only have one dot that didn't cost all of our heat, and then you nerfed it, effectively neutering us in pyro and pvp, because our one dot that's easy and doesn't cost a ton of heat gets cleansed anyway. And on the PTS FB no longer triggers CGC. Why is this? Why the continuous changes to pyrotech? Why nerf it then give nothing to compensate the nerf.
  13. Today I learned "many ranged options" means 3. These answers are just garbage. Look at the sniper/slinger answers, they actually responded like an adult. We get stuck with a whiney ***** who probably doesn't even play the game and thinks all will be well with the patch. This unfortunately is not the case. Downloaded the pts just so I could play my favorite toon again, only to find he STILL doesn't preform as well as any other adv class. Careless response to well thought out questions. This is pathetic Bioware, just laughable, why even bother to answer if you're going to tell us to QQ? That's my question. Also the tone of the answers is so *****y. It's not our fault that you guys mess up this class with every patch, get your **** together guys, this is sad.
  14. Lol I've had a ticket submitted for 72 hours. They have like three people on customer service, it takes them a week to get back to you on a ticket.
  15. Big question for BW, do any of your staff still play the game? And if so do they play a powertech? Because I really feel like if they did we wouldn't be so behind in damage and tanking. While this 3 question thing is good, its not going to help like we're hoping, and I just have a feeling that they're gonna give us half *** answers and tell us to deal with it. If anyone from the staff plays they no doubt play a sniper and or smasher, because those classes are getting continuously buffed, while we get nerfed a little with every update. I'm pretty tired of not playing my favorite class in the game because he can't perform in NiM content.

If there were a more complex crafting system involved, I would pay fees, a commission if you will, but don't demand it, because you didn't actually do anything except click a button once, and your companion makes it for you. In EQ2 I didn't mind tipping on items people crafted, mainly becaus no one demanded a "tip" (fee) and the crafting system was like a mini game that took time and effort. I'm sorry, good for you that you learned the schematic, but don't try to rip people off with it. Harbinger Crafters, you know who you are. 100k tip required my arse. It's not a tip, that's a fee. In my eyes, mats are just fine, especially if you have premises, 10% chance to crit, that's pretty nice. So what if you don't, you can make another and sell it on gtn. I don't see the issue.
  17. Re-work to shoulder cannon would be nice as well, either make them all load at once, or lower the cooldown on it. Shield: while I don't see them giving us another cooldown, I hope that they improve the ones we have, lowering Rebounder to the bottom of the AP is a good start, gives all PTs a little extra defense, and a nice reduc on the long cd that is Energy Shield. In addition, Heat Screens should again need 4 stacks, and then it should let you fire heat blast, also their absorption should be buffed back to 2% each. Make the AOE from Rail shot generate as much threat as Discharge (assassin high aggro attack on a 10 sec cd I believe). AP: immunity to interrupt for PFT is not a major concern IMO, and instead of that I would hope that they would add a little more *umph* to Retrac Blade, Immolate, and PFT (flame burst should not do more than 1 tick of PFT) and also a quicker channel on it as well, some are suggesting Flame engine, that would be nice, but I think just 1 sec off the Channel time in the talent itself would suffice. Pyro : give us back the burst! Make TD desirable by it either doing a crap ton more damage, or cost the same amount as Immolate with a slight buff to damage. Add Armor Pen on Rocket Punch and Flame burst, slight increase to damage, and we don't rely on rail as much for big numbers, since they took 15% off it, put that onto FB and RP. Just my two cents. Not really in question form, but they could be phrased as such. Hopefully this Class Rep thing is a step in the right direction and not just a funnel for more hate.
  18. Fluff damage = damage without killing people, or a little tiny bit of damage that adds up by always having it up. Smashers don't have fluff damage, fluff is your flame sweep, little crap damage that you spam to get dots that are also crap. Smash is in no way fluff, it hits hard every time guaranteed, and they have an excellent finishing move, which does around the same ridiculous damage. If you get a 1 on 1 situation with a powertech, you'll win every time, regardless of class. Only situation where you might not is if they're AP spec and have 7 shoulder missiles.
  19. Sorry, that's not proof. Nice job running around dotting stuff though. Easy to stack fluff damage when you dot 5 or more targets.
  20. Yeah they do, Pyro only has one real damaging move in Rail shot. They got dots, sure, but RS is king.
