  1. Stat budget is determined by adding your shield, defense, and absorb rating together. The sum is your total stat budget
  2. The Revenant downed Council. Yay for healers in 69 gear http://tinypic.com/r/2zqykq8/5
  3. Currently recruiting a talented healer for our 8 man operations. Prefer Merc/Sorc, but any healer who knows their class is welcome. Gear is appreciated but not required. Needs to be able to step into current HM operations now . Raid nights are tues-weds 8-11 EST. Current progression is 5/5 HM DF and 4/5 HM DP. If interested whisper Phudgee in game, or send an in game mail,
  4. The Revenant has downed HM Brontes. 10/16 http://tinypic.com/r/k3u0w8/5
  5. Didnt post this or take screen shots. but The Revenant is 4/5 in both DF and DP HM. Our original kills were DF 4 on the 2nd and DP on the 6th. Again dont have any boss shots, but have my achievement list. http://tinypic.com/r/lxzz8/5 http://tinypic.com/r/b5r9dx/5 Should have brontes down hopefully this sunday, ill make sure to get an SS of the kill.
  6. PFT stacks 3 times because its a damage boost to all ticks. If you have one stack its not bonus damage on your first tick....
  7. Not sure what your gear is, but if the jugg tank is mitigation focused he will take less than you. in about 50% 75's I'm sitting around 37.5k health with adrenal. The more health you have the less damage youll mitigate. I would suggest switching out some B mods or high endurance enhancements for unlettered and bulwark/bastion
  8. Yea sorry, i spec into bun enhancers also. And you're right, the fb damage is minimal at best, since ideally we only use it to keep combust up.
  9. I dont necessarily disagree that prototype cylinders is an underwhelming talent. That being said it is easily the best of many bad options in PVE. I do not claim to know much about pvp tanking, as my sorc is my pvp toon, but you are overlookng the fact that the IC damage is not a 1:1 damage to threat ratio. Checking my logs from my guilds NiM TFB last week, the average hit for my IC was 240 damage. The average threat per use however was 480, which obviously shows it has a 100% threat boost. My IC ended up at about 40 tps, which again sounds minimal, but if I tend to proc it close to 5 times in the first 30 seconds of a pull, and with ES up it crits about 40% of the time. All in all it ends up being about 1400 threat just from IC, which can make or break your pull. I'm not advocating that it is an amazing skill, but with the current skill trees in pve it is 100% worth speccing into, just because there is no better option. I would love to see them add the damage boost to the shocked dot also, but i can't figure that is very high on their list of things to do. Edit: I would love to see them maybe give prototype cylinder a higher chance to proc our charge on something like rapid shots. Even though the dot hits very weakly, the threat to damage ration is right around 8:1
  10. This isn't a bad priority system aside from I'm not sure why fl (long cast) is above ls. Fl should not be used long cast unless you're running madness. Other than that its pretty spot on. Affliction AFTER it falls off TB only if you have more than 2 seconds left on affliction. Cd Cl (proc) Fl (proc) Ls Obviously if you are about to lose a proc it should take precedent, but cl proc should never get close to dropping in pve, and fl should be used earlier in the proc. I use cds basically as the come up and use recklessness for cl>proc fl>ls.
  11. Good news! We aren't voting for the shadow/assassin rep. We are voting for the shadow rep. That is kbn.
  12. Just wanted to jump in and say thanks to xin and kbn for trying to help as best as they can. That being said, I've run a madness sin pretty much since launch. Pre 2.0 madness was the most fun I've ever had in an mmo in both pve and PvP. Was I op? No but I was able to compete. The gameplay was dynamic and engaging. Since 2.0 I have had an extremely hard time playing my sin. The dps is subpar and that does suck. However that is not my main complaint. Someone has to be bottom and while I'm not happy its assassins, I understand. That being said I absolutely hate the new madness game play. Its not only significantly simpler than 1.7 but its also more boring and resource starved. There are many facets to this one being maul removed from the rotation. Maul was very helpful because of the low force cost and high damage helped to offset the down time between managing dots. They have saidthey don't want us to have duplicity but why not change lambaste to something useful and allow for us to use maul effectively. Losing maul hurt, but the biggest headscratcher was the change to our force regen. I don't understand what was op about deathmarks refunding force. It was engaging, it was active and it allowed you to set up burn phases. Excuse my language but lightning burns can lick my balls. Not only does it offer inferior regen, but its sporadic and unreliable. It dulls down the entire spec. The reason I loved madness pre 2.0. Was because it required very little filler. Honestly if I wanted to spam sabre strike I would spec deception. (Nothing against it just not really my cup of tea). Tl;Dr Please try to see if anything can be done or is being planned to address the mind numbing boredom that comes with madness assassin currently.
  13. I don't really mind the extra cast on CD, its annoying but lightning is a turret build so casts are to be expected. My biggest problem with Crushing Darkness is the fact that it get 0% pushback protection. Personally I think all abilities should be unaffected by pushback, but man crushing darkness can turn into a 3.5 second cast sometimes. A few examples would be NiM Dreadguards, whenever I get targeted by force lightning during my Crushing Darkness cast, it kills my dps. Since the FL damage is random, you can really hold it and wait for downtime. The other fight that is a real pain is Titan 6. Putting off CD by any substantial amount of time will drop dps, and you would be a fool to try and cast it during lots of missiles. It's just frustrating that we already have a pushback mechanic that lowers our dps when attacked, but Crushing Darkness needs some sort of pushback resistance, especially if they expect it to be used in our rotation. That being said, in a stagnant parse or fight, It is a DPS gain
