For trixxie and an opportunity to make pvp interesting again. I still don't think this is a difficult request! If 7.0 raiders get the best chance at gear....here is your opportunity to do the same with pvp!

You can cry in one hand and crap in the other! You see, cross server along with the crappy solo ranked system changed the dynamics of pvp! The reason u see the garbage you do now in regs is a reflection of the garbage that is now solo ranked! "Just dropped mic"

Trixx, I appreciate your opinion...but u need to think big here. Solos are a joke, run by a few short sighted handicapped individuals. It is garbage! You and I both know that. Here is the revelation, ending cross faction creates unity, grouping, and guild competition. “Gasp” That is not a bad thing! You see, removing cross faction creates something strong! A unity that bypasses the turds in solo and makes group ranked a thing. You all are to caught up in what it is. You can change that. I say +uck” solos. It a joke of a ahit show that no person should take seriously! I would rather play with 10 pubs, and lose, rather than dealing with what we have going on now!

I should add, in the movies, the pubs were always at a disadvantage. In the end, they always prevailed. I don’t see any difference in this games pvp...should be the same!

Cross faction is the problem. It has made pvp’ers lazy, not interested in getting better, wait to be carried, and just allows for more time to get on these forums to complain about insignificance. Way back when, let’s just say a server was heavy Imp, it forced the pubs to band together, form pvp guilds, to be competitive. This, in return, caused an equal reaction from the dominant side. Yes they may have more guilds, but the pub pvper’s were still very competitive. Swtor PvP will never regain, nor attain, it’s true potential until this is changed. For pve, there are heavy raiding guilds...they are not cross faction. They apparently don’t need a crutch. The pvp community are their own worst enemy. They consistently look to BioWare to fix what they refuse to fix themselves. Instead of creating a competitive community, it has become a toxic mess. Come on, we can be better than that!

Nope, acceptance of your “popcorn” is the problem! You can eat it, I will continue to play pvp from a distance if that is what I have to do! I cannot explain to those who did not experience it how great it was! You can continue to stare at an unflushed toilet bowl and think it looks and smells great...but I don’t have too!

It so easy to pick apart, the problem is cross faction! I get why it was done....but now with a few servers, it ridiculous! The reason pvp guilds don’t exist currently, is because they don’t have too! You have imp and pub working together, pubs killing pubs, imps killing whatever, it anarchy! All of your other pvp complaints are mute and insignificant until this is fixed. Swtor pvp, which has the potential to be great, will continue to suffer until rival sides are created again! It was not the gear that made pvp great back in the day, it was Prime Defense (pub) vs LD 50 and Unicorn Stampede (Imp) that made it epic! Now, just a whole bunch of poo!

I am sorry to hear this Trixxie! You, like myself, are very passionate about SWTOR pvp and I have always admired that about you! If you do end up unsubbing, the community would certainly miss your insight. Although I have not participated in the PTS, I have been following the various threads in regards to it. I have not established an opinion as of yet and have taken a wait and see stance about it. As far as pvp, as I have said before, all we can do is ask and hope our requests do not fall upon def ears. I honestly don’t believe that though and think that they have been looking into everyone’s suggestions. As far as my valor suggestions, just thought it would be cool if a dead system could be brought back to life to create some excitement and provide some rewards for those who participate on a regular basis. Keep your chin up!!! We will se what happens!

I do believe they listen. For instance, I made a post on gen chat about the squids not being able to show dark side corruption...it was fixed in the next patch. I also understand that they have a plan and that changing that plan has to be carefully considered. All we can do is ask. I honestly don’t believe, what has been requested here, would require sweeping changes though to that plan. It would be nice if valor could be amended into something significant for pvp’ers but, if not, it certainly would not be a SWTOR deal breaker for me.

I would rather play HB than 5 hypergates in a row. HB is not a death match, which seems to be the norm now. HB is a coordinated event for a team to win which has become a lost art.

I have come to the realization that I have gotten too old for ranked. I turn 50 next month and, although I do still enjoy pvp, I do not have the time nor the desire to participate in that venue anymore. I have been pvping for 22 yrs now in some form or fashion and am more interested in taking the casual approach now. When I had to start wearing readers to play....because you cannot read the screen...it time for some self evaluation....lol! I just thought the devs were rather creative with GS. It encouraged people to play and branch out into new realms that were not normally explored. As for myself, I will use GSF as an example. I would not give it the time of day before GS but I find myself queuing for it more now than regs. A restructuring of an existing dead system - Valor - similar to that of GS could incent more participation. It could be as simple as a Valor vendor that unlocks various items based on level. Why not lift the cap to 110 and reward people for playing? It certainly can't hurt.

You are correct! It like the stupid "limitless" title I am working on currently (999 renown) I have a bunch of characters 300-700 but only one close to 999. It is a dumb goal but one I will get done. I still have no idea why the cap has not been raised in the past 10 years. As you said, it is a mindless grind. BUT....I just would like the opportunity to work for something on the toons I already have capped. It that simple.

Own the objectives! There are a handful of matches where DPS performance is significant. Regardless of what is going on in a match, hold true to playing the objectives and you will find that others will start doing the same.

I recently went through all of my juggs/guardians and found that I have not been significant since season 7. Last title I have received. I have titles from grouped ranked to season 7..... Point is, I really have not played seriously since then and may have queued for 1-2 ranked matches this season. In fact, I have not been queueing much for regs anymore. I consider it dabbling now when, in the past, used to be a die hard. I have been getting on old imp toons just to play around with them. I find this style of pvp much more fun now. To answer your thread question....No.....not many of us are left. Prum, I am glad you having success, but you are in the "click". Hard to take your score seriously. Really not trying to be critical...just speaking the truth. Sorry!

Speculation now is ridiculous! We will wait and see! I am just hoping a dps jugg will be viable again.
