  1. Not an all-inclusive list (It includes the Main MMORPGs that I've played... details on server names/character names on the rest, especially ones that I tested but did not play post launch, are a bit fuzzy...) AC Morningthaw server - Hanali, Myria EQ Druzzil Ro server - Celestiel, Zbkuku, Neaerilu DAoC Hibernia/Percival ~ Hands of Fate - Bluebell, Kalli Albion/Nimue ~ The Sisterhood - Fionna Midgard/Guinevere ~ Leaves of Yggdrasil - Bupu, Hildigard SW:G Sunrunner (?) server - Rhynnia LoTRO Gladden server ~ Gold Candidates - Trilli, Gypsi, Bluebelle (+ a few more) EQ2 Antonia Bayle server - Bloopi WoW Argent Dawn server - Fifi Earthen Ring server - Rhianwyn RIFT Harrow server - Lyricali, Fiorella, Rhianwyn Estrael server - Faeriela, Lyricali
  2. I still play on Gladden. Multiple characters, though my main Hobbit gals are: Trilli M. Thistletoes - Hunter Gypsi Gemseeker - Burglar Bluebelle Bloombright - Minstrel
  3. San Francisco, Beregen Colony.
  4. As long as there's an option to turn them off, I'm fine with them being added.
  5. LoTRO has this feature. I liked having it there and would like to see it here as well. /signed
  6. I'd like to see Neutral gear added at some point. It's not a "make or break" item for me, however... /shrugs
  7. I'm an old school MMORPGer (since 1999 with AC/EQ), however I do not enjoy "chatting" with random strangers, unless it's at an RP event when I and everyone else are in character. If I want to "chat" about RL, I will do so with people that I know in RL.
  8. LoTRO was doing fine pre-FTP (not raking in the cash, but definitely holding its own). DDO was on death's door, pre-FTP, however. The successful turnaround of DDO (monetarily) was what caused LoTRO to go FTP. Turbine saw revenues go up for DDO and saw the opportunity for a similar increase in LoTRO.
  9. I'm fine with the number of hotbars. I'd just like a way to move them around on my screen...
  10. Untrue. I played DAoC from beta until a few months after ToA. I was able to solo "squishy" classes in it all of the way to max level from the start (including a mana/mentalism mentalist) without much difficulty. It just took a lot longer than if I would have grouped more with them. People didn't group there as much out of necessity, but because it was so much quicker to level with them. They were taking the easiest path. Also, AC (which you didn't mention) was soloable. EQ, not so much, though I did so quite a bit with my Shaman.
  11. I wouldn't say that this was the smoothest of all of the MMORPGs that I've played at launch (quite a few since '99), though it does rank in the top 5 for me. I completely agree with you about AO, however. Worst rubber banding I've ever experienced! One step forward, ten steps back. One step forward, another ten steps back... Awful...
  12. I agree. It's not very user friendly for finding posts on only the server one cares about. If there was a filter option (at the very least) for sorting, it would be a start... /signed
  13. Most people that I know in LoTRO turned off the glf (user-created) chat channel a long time ago because it became 95% incessant babbling of idiots and only 5% of actual looking for groups.
  14. This. I've been playing MMORPGs since 1999 (AC/EQ) and have spent less than 1% of my overall play time with PuG groups. I've always preferred the company of friends/guildmates/the Hubby when I'm adventuring and/or raiding than with random other people. When they're not around, I've preferred to solo, even when it's taken 100 times longer to accomplish anything. /shrugs
  15. I enjoy playing both sides equally, so I guess I'm not part of the "we" the OP speaks of... /shrugs As far as faction balance goes, on Beregen Colony, it seems pretty equal to me when I play (usually off peak times).
  16. I would love to see Rodians and Wookiees as playable races eventually...
  17. My Husband and I are Founding Lifetimers in LoTRO. I'd love to have that option available here, as well.
  18. Ummm... I read 1989 as their start date. There are plenty of us here who are quite a bit older than they are.
  19. DAoC, pre-ToA, is still my #1 ranked MMORPG that I've played (out of 16 that I've played/tested since 1999). It's the only one in which I actually had fun in PvP, with their RvR system. It was all about "pride for one's realm" and not "glory for the individual". One call and every able body went running out to assist. Awesome times!
  20. Obviously, you did not play AO... That was by far the buggiest lag-fest launch that I've been a part of. As for quality of launch, I'm having a much smoother and more enjoyable time in SW:TOR than I did in WoW. Some bugs, but nothing "gamebreaking". What I remember most of WoW's launch was all of the PvP kiddies (who felt like they had to justify the nerdiness of playing an MMORPG) invading Argent Dawn whenver their precious servers went down... which was quite often... just to give RPers grief and be complete ********. It was a strong indication of what the communities would end up as and one of the main reasons why I quit less than a year later.
