  1. You're missing the point and misunderstanding him. He wants COLLISION DETECTION. Combat for grown-ups. *cough* Tera Online *cough*
  2. What the OP is trying to say is that he wants collision detection and combat along the lines of Tera Online -- where you CAN actually use an xbox controller, due to the way the combat system is designed. And I wholeheartedly agree with him. Well, I wouldn't want to use an Xbox controller, but I'd like to see some collision detection. This combat system is no way, shape or form advanced. It's so easy a child could do it. "Look at me, I can press 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 2! I'm really good at fighting!!" (That was a TM + HM + RS combo, jsyk).
  3. And EQ is 13 years old. Surely they won't copy the failing mechanics of a 13 year old game? :') Lag from combat logs was never an issue in "that other game", not in vanilla or later. So this simply baffles me.
  4. Lol what ingame economy? I like the idea of these suggestions; SWTOR badly needs something like this.
  5. I would be all for this if it wasn't for graphical bugs which forces a player to leave the WZ so he/she can restart his/her client. If these bugs didn't exist I would 100% support a punishment. But not for two days...
  6. Are you going to aim to revamp the endgame content according to the massive amounts of suggestions (declarations of disappointment) being made in General forum? These have been nicely summed up in this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=313564
  7. After being 50 a few weeks it starts feeling like you're playing a single player game with a multiplayer function which allows other players to show their single-player characters. Dragon age or Mass Effect where everyone can hang out in a city together and do nothing together. There's nothing to do and no incentive to run the same FPs or OPS for the 100th time. That's why it feels more like KOTOR3 than an MMORPG. You can explore some of the content after you hit 50, but after you've done that there's no reason to do so again.
  8. From what I've read, the reason they didn't add them in launch was because combat logs created LAG. LAG FROM COMBAT LOGS. How the hell...?
  9. During Soa NM fight: Me: Oh wow that death seemed a bit random. Hm, perhaps I did something wrong. Let's check my combat log so I can see what it was, so I can improve and avoid this in the future. ... Oh wait.
  10. 100% agree with OP and I hope BW reads this. Another thing I'm missing is greater character customization, being able to change things like chin, nose, eye shape etc. Small things, but it adds up when everyone looks like clones (I have seen 3 mercs on my server who look just like me. Same hair, hair color, species, skin color, eye color, details..). As for FPS: The people who are saying they don't have FPS issues must not be visiting Ilum regularly. Everyone, all 80 of us at Ilum, drop to 2-7 FPS - regardless of rig. Some have really expensive rigs, yet still drop to 5 FPS. Also, try opening and closing your inventory. Voila, 2 FPS.
  11. SWTOR feels more like KOTOR3 than an MMORPG. Many people play this as a single-player game. In lies the problem.
  12. But how many are now unsubbing because 1.2 comes too late?
  13. Lolol, I've been wondering the same myself. Where did those $150 million go?
  14. Yeeeeees! I'm a bounty hunter, I want to hunt people! I know UO had this. Does any other MMOs atm have bounties?
  15. 100% disagree with OP. What BW should do right now is make random items, better than Rakata, drop in Nightmare mode. And let's say you could choose your set bonus with these items. Make Legendary items rare as sith and drop in Nightmare mode. This will give us something to strive for
  16. Agree with OP, and judging by these forums this is a fast growing tendency.
  17. Far from it. I am burned out from this game. The last MMORPG I played was WoW TBC. The last MMO I played was Battlefield Heroes (which I probably will go back to)
  18. I did ALL the quests on each planet. I wasn't bored up until recently. Then I realised I have experienced all the "endgame" content BW is offering us. I was level 50 in early January, due to pre-order.
  19. Too hardcore for an MMORPG? Don't be funny. My guild has been around since December. We're now doing NM stuff and 16 man HM. We have lost 4 officers and 200 members since December. More are quitting each day. Reason: the game is boring.
  20. If I didn't have my own successful guild to care for I would unsubscribe immediately. But I will wait until 1.2.
  21. Social points are useless (you get glitter and a thing that makes people dance..), and mine has been bugged since level god-knows-what anyway. PvP valor stops being interesting at r60. And I don't want to play WoW. I haven't played WoW since mid-TBC, because it got boring and too easy. This game has great potential. I loved this game up until recently. I don't WANT to play another game, but I'm not going to pay a monthly fee to do nothing. And if you bother to read this forum you will see that I am far from being the only one bored at this point, so don't tell me "sucks for you", cause it's not about me. It's the game.
  22. Really? Is that why guilds in Rift are stilling banging their heads against bosses?
  23. Useless. Stops being fun when you get 60 (the whole game in general becomes meaningless at this point) PvP valor is same as valor points Companion quests/affection isn't good for anything* other than getting jiggy with one of them if that's your thing. *Since tradeskilling is useless at 50.
