  1. Basically everything got nerfed. They took it all away and gave nothing back. Less damage, faster heat, less healing, less survivability/less damage reduction, longer CDs etc. Read the public testserver forum for details. I wouldnt rely too heavily on this forum though, cause its gonna be pretty dead in a months time as all commandos either quit the game or rerolled.
  2. True medic and gunnery got nerfed into uselessness, but assault/pyro got a hit too. You still have to stand stationary and channel powershot to proc railshot/hib as opposed to vanguards which have all instants. And now powershot got a 10% damage reduction and with a 2 sec channeling time, equalling a 35% damage reduction, if you dont spec into gunnery. Assault was the weakest spec we had, but with 1.2 its gonna be the only spec we have, except its even weaker than it was. GG BW.
  3. You gonna see a DRASTIC reduction in the damage you do with this ability. With this short of an AoE radius it will be alot easier for people to get out of the way, and it will also hit less people, I would assume mortar volley on average will do less than half the damage it currently does, compared to the typical situations where I use this now.
  4. Playing the already most OP class in the game, and actually receiving a BUFF with this patch.. Of course you are happy. Have a fun time in future warzones though, cause its gonna consist of nothing but people dual wielding glowsticks. I for sure have read the notes and as I feared am forced to give up this game. I simply see no hope for it with the glaring incompetence of the current designerteam.

The 5k hit medal will be slightly easier to obtain, but else from that everything got nerfed into the ground. 30% procchance on full auto is already enough so that I can get it on one of 3 casts. And theres already a limitation for how often it can proc. Not that you will be able to spam it. Demo round you will only be able to use once every 15 seconds. In this time you will cast at least 5 grav rounds to set up your other skills. This corresponds to a huge damagenerf overall. Using your math it can correspond to 5*500 = 2500 damagereduction in a 15 sec timespan, for an increased damage of maybe 6-700. The most glaring thing is also how they make us easier to kill, we will take 5% more damage, which is also pretty huge in prolonged fights, they also make our only relevant defensive ability, conc. charge, have a longer cooldown, which means we will have melees beating on us for alot longer, adding up to a DRASTIC increase to damage taken and how often we will get interrupted. Further on rendering Medic useless, and also nerfing the damage of assault, BW basically wiped out the entire AC from the game. But whatever, its their game. I was only a paying customer. If they dont want people to play their game thats their choice as an independent company...Moving on to Diablo3/GW2.
  6. Noone will play merc healers after patch. BW destroyed the entire skilltree. Your best alternative would be an operative which still will be pretty good.
  7. You keep bringing up its not a 1v1 game but then again, is it a 2v2 game? Cause two marauders would still annihilate two commandos. Is it a 3v3 game? Cause 3 marauders would still annihilate 3 commandos. Bottom line is, its not hard to see which classes is better? Using the "not 1v1 excuse is simply not valid as long as one class completely can shut down another and kill it with hardly taking damage at all. This has nothing to do with skill, its just design. Commandos have no utility, and are way too easily countered. 1.2 will just make this problem even worse. Lower survivability, less damage, and even less utility than we already had.
  8. Yea, we are already on the bottom of the pecking order when it comes to easy kill. Now we are still at the bottom, just even further down. So basically nothing has changed. Our only defense, KB gets nerfed to ingding, we also take 5% more damage, and do 10% less with that fkin ability we STILL have to spam after patch, we just do 10% less damage with it. Our best AoE ability, mortar volley, is also made next to useless, as it will be ridiculously easy to get out of now, that we max can hope to hit with one of the three rounds. Medic got nerfed so hard that it will be unplayable after patch, so thats not really an option either. assault has always been meh, but will be even more so after patch with the nerf. If this patch actually hit, commandos are dead. 2 of the commandos i know unsubbed, the last one just rerolled.
  9. Good thing commandos get nerfed, seeing how much problems you have killing them... They get off on average, what, 1 skill before you gank them down?
  10. Yup, which equals an effective damagenerf of 35%, AND making us even more prone to interrupts/pushbacks, AND we still have to spam this **** to set up demoround and proc FA. Btw, assault also got nerfed as you still have to cast powershot to proc HiB. And with the 10% damage reduction increase in casttime from 1,5-2 sec, (which is HUGE, 35% damage reduction), the mobility and damageoutput of the tree got drastically reduced.
  11. Canceled. 35% damage reduction (10% + 25% increased casttime) on an ability we STILL ARE FORCED TO SPAM to set up demo round and FA, is not acceptable. As medic also got rendered useless, commando just got completely brutalized and I cant see how any commando/merc would continue playing the class after this. Just gonna do more RL stuff, maybe watch some TV instead of playing during downtimes, maybe some BF3 until Diablo III comes out in May.
  12. Yes, 10% flat out damage reduction on grav round + increasing casting time from 1,5 to 2 seconds equals a 35% damage reduction. And we STILL have to spam this ****** ability in order to set up for instacasts and trigger full auto. Also, the longer casttime on the ability WE STILL ARE FORCED TO SPAM makes us even more prone to interrupts and pushbacks than we already are, which gimps our damageoutput een further. How can this be justified? Especially when they also nerf the only semiviable build we have atm (medic) into unplayability.
  13. How is reducing damage by 10% an increase in sustainable dps? Buffing an ability that is on a 15 sec CD have no real impact on our sustainable dps. Also have in mind that this is already the most useless 1v1 class in the game.

  15. Bioware: Bend over and take it gooood mercs.. Yeah, thats it, nice and deep.... Personally Im no fan of getting completely *****, so I just unsubbed. Medic was the only spec that could be competetive for ranked. Now that it is gone, commando/merc have nothing going for it. Thankfully its not too long before DiabloIII/GW2 hit the shelves. See you there people.
  16. Whatever are you talking about? They nerfed koltobomb into the ground. Kolto residue got nerfed. But thats not a big deal. What is a big deal is the supercharged koltobomb which the shield got nerfed from 10 to 5%, So in this situation, the targets will get healed for 2% less and take 5% more damage. Thats a discrepancy of 7% less "survivability" which is pretty huge imo.
  17. Just talked to the two other highvalor commandos on my server. All obviously playing medics cause its the only viable build atm. One is rerolling, me and the other guy unsubbed separately of eachother, lol. Well, well, not like commandos ever were the flavor of the month in highlevel play, but at least now you wiped the few there were from the game. Any reason to play anything else than mara in pvp atm? They already facerolled me before patch, now it just got ridiculous.
  18. They just completely gimped DpS too... If you didnt see it they increase the CD on concussion charge, which is HUGE, as it is our only defense. They also completely gimped the AoE area of Mortar volley, which also is HUGE, as it is one of our most important abilities. Overall this made gunnery pretty much unplayable, even more so than it already was in a competetive environement. Medic of course is also made unplayable, as you will run out of ammo in no time now, the nerf to the dmg reduction to supercharged koltobomb is also HUGE as its been one of my few lifesavers. I just lost my spot on the planned premade due to this *****. And have no longer any reason to play this crappy game, so i just unsubbed. Luckily DiabloIII is just around the corner and GW2 not too far after that. GG Bioware. I would like to say its been a pleasure, but being stuck with the most boring and lackluster class Ive played in any MMO, its really not.
  19. Its very funny because this would take an already gimped class for competetive PvP (you know the kind where people actually interrupt) and just gimp it further completely into oblivion. Its even more funny for us that plays the only semiviable commandospec available for higherlevel PvP atm, medic, cause that would make me lose my spot in the planned premade. Good one Bioware. Im still laughing. Now give us the REAL 1.2 patch notes.
  20. On what server do fleet have 150 players? We have about 15-20 on average. Game dying.. Yes. When newer titles appear the subscriptionloss will be unrecoverable. All that will remain is a fanboi hardcore. Storyline through leveling not too bad. Endgame and PvP, not given ANY thought. Ilum is the single worst PvP experience I have had in any game to date.
  21. It used to be pretty even, but after the main Imp guild rerolled rep on another server we are left with nothing but scrub imps. I honestly cant even remember the last time I lost a WZ against imps. Must be 20-30 games ago. The decent imps that are left on the server I can count on one hand. It seems the hardcore PvPers that originally started Imptoons just realized what we saw initially, how ungratifying it is to be part of the zergfaction, and finally rerolled. Bioware, We NEED a servermerge ASAP. Alot of people dont have the time to reroll, and as it stands now, endgame PvP is just plain boring and unchallenging.

Too me, and knowing Bioware, they probably just put a 6 sec cooldown on tracermissile, so you should have to use railshot, powershot, unload etc. in between "to be effective" Not like arsenal/gunnery isnt already considered the weakest spec in the game by serious PvPers with half a brain. The problem however is that most of the people playing are brainless scrubs with no sense of interrupt, positioning, LoS etc, so I guess they nerf it to appease these people. My two cents. They could surprise though, by actually making gunnery a competetive spec for ranked, cause as of now the only spec mandos have for that is heal and maybe hybrid.
  23. Around 10% as DpS. As healer I use more though. Basically I use 4 Rakatapieces as DpS and 2 as healer. Rest BM. It also depends on your set-bonuses. For commando at least the 2-setbonus from rakata is infinitely better than the 4-setbonus from BM.
  24. Tankassassin is probably the only class I can beat in healerspec with my commando. They just have so pitiful damage that I can easily outheal it, and they got no real selfheals so I can just burn him down with autoattacks in between. If youre undeafeated I think its more a matter of exactly who you are fighting against. This game is very gear/leveldependent.
  25. Hahaha.. Thats nothing.. We are pulling teammates into the fires and sit on skype with people on the other team throwing the ball back and forth, spawncamping/chaindragging certain players completely trolling all over. This is by far the most trololo herpdiderp map ever. Not like theres much else to do in this game once you hit BM+.
