  1. Hi, If you came over from WoW, there are some noticeable differences in SWTOR, and I just wanted to highlight a couple of WoW features that aren't here in SWTOR, and see if you miss them. Achievements, and Glyphs. I personally don't miss them at all. I guess that Achievements could be something else for end-game players, but I certainly don't see it being necessary. Also, not customizing your skill tree with glyphs seems like a welcome relief. How about you? Cheers.
  2. We will. Thank you for caring about our game playing experience. Cheers.
  3. Hey, me too. I have 5 and soon to be 6. My highest is 33. I character hop and level up a bit with the main concentration on Crew Skills too. Who knew there would be other like minded individuals. Cheers.
  4. What I do is to make sure I go to new planets at the appropriate level. So, when I am at that level (say 16 on Coruscant) or one less, I just stop doing all optional missions and focus on my Class story. Then, I leave the planet as soon as my class story tells me to, dropping all the other missions. This keeps the game very interesting for me. Cheers.
  5. On a standard server, I've just looked out for other people wanting groups when I'm on the Fleet. I never bothered advertising myself, but have got into two flashpoint groups lately. Cheers.
  6. Yeah, that's why I have mostly light side characters, but am trying a dark side one also. Makes for more some interesting differences in story. Cheers.
  7. Hi, I just finished the Czerka missions on Tatooine last night. Heck, this isn't even part of the Class mission line, and it was just Epic. I won't exactly say what was epic about it, because I don't want to spoil it for others, but just to say it had some different mechanics than other missions to date, and some epic storytelling. I wonder what other Epic story-lines are out there that I haven't even got to yet. This game just gets better and better the more I play it. Cheers.
  8. I agree, but please: There are no quests. There are missions. Cheers.
  9. Why the need for sarcasm in the title? This is getting really old, really fast. *sigh* Cheers.
  10. Hey, thanks for the link to the manual. In the manual there are extra Species than those in the game! Cheers.
  11. Here here. You should add that in the suggestion box forum. Cheers.
  12. 'to many bugs' What? What do you want to do to many bugs? Cheers.
  13. You know what I'm going to do about serverpopulations? I'm going to split it into two words: Server Populations. There. Cheers.
  14. Hi, If you've started characters and leveled through both Ord Mantell and Tython, which do you prefer. I really prefer Tython. And the especially because of the way the Jedi storylines complete in Tython - Epic. How about you? Trooper and Smuggler planet, or Jedi planet? Cheers.
  15. 24 year old female gamer. Of course people will agree with it Cheers.
  16. Go level some alts until more players make it to level 50. Cheers.
  17. Just vendor everything you craft. Don't bother trying to keep up with the Mission skill too much, just do it every now and again. Focus on your gathering and crafting ones and dont' buy everyone recipe, only ones needed to skill up. Once you get your ship, make sure to do space missions for good credit income. Don't buy anything on the GTN, and only get abilities that you know you're going use, and don't bother buying others. Cheers.
  18. Well, OP. I feel your pain. I nearly quit over Shadow Fist (Trooper gold mob) too. But then I realized that I wasn't utilizing parts of the game and I'd been coasting until then. I was using no Stims or Med-packs. Now that I'm using Stims and med-packs on gold elites, things are going much better. There's always going and dong other missions and getting better gear and leveling up. And to those saying L2P or things like that. Shame on you. Cheers.
  19. By outleveling your crafting, what do you mean? Do you mean that you didn't collect enough raw materials on a planet to get the craft above the level where those raw materials are needed, or do you just mean you were creating stuff below the level of stuff you would get normally. I think leveling as you go is the way to go. I have four characters, each with a Crafting, Gathering, and Missions skill. It really accelerates once you get your second companion (level 16 or so). That's because you can have a companion with you, and always have one off doing Missions, or Crafting. Cheers.
  20. OP - You have Diplomacy covered on another character. But what other Skills does that character have? Did you take Diplomacy by mistake and now your other character could do with some help? Cheers.
  21. LOL - I am so used to posting on WoW forums. Cheers.
  22. So, all pretense of lowering the price for others has totally gone out of the window now, eh? Also, I love that you dismissed out of hand the comparison with Ebay. You said 'Ebay is a web-site'. What the heck do think GTN is? It's a terminal for a Network just like Ebay. In fact, exactly like it. You list things and people all over the galaxy can see them and bid on them, just like Ebay. I really hope people continue to post the barrels at lower and lower prices. That would be justice. Cheers.
  23. Not bored at all. I started with a couple of characters. Then, I realized that I was having too tough a time with gold bosses. So, I started a biochem character. Then, I realized I needed to get parts and stuff for my Driod, so I made a Cybertech character. Now, I've got an orange lightsaber, so I'm going to start a Artifice character. Having so much fun. No where near getting to 50 on any character (highest is 33). Cheers.
