  1. Not really, just worried about end game content for decent gamers and if there ever will be any.
  2. People talking about things they have no clue about. HC raiders wants challenging content which nightmare modes were supposed to be and before they release combat logs/meters there cant be any, except content that is made challenging for the reason that you dont know is other people in your group good or not.
  3. So answer my question since WOW was so easy for you and your guild, did you kill with or without vent and meters following bosses, Vanilla: Viscious, Ouro, C'Thun, 4 HM, KT. In TBC: Gruul on first weeks prenerf, M'uru, Kil'jaeden. In Wrath: HC Mimiron, Yogg saron with 0 guardians, Algalon, HC Lich King. Did you kill most hardest fight in MMORPG gaming history, HC Ragnaros in Cata. Did you kill anything that was considered to be hard at any given time? I thought so
  4. Im sure that most raiders thought there is 3 difficulty levels for a reason, Nightmare modes beeing for minor portion of player base, as somekinda HC mode which isnt the case. There is 3 difficulty levels atm which are casua, casual and casual and thatwont change untill they can start to make harder content which they have chance to after they are adding already promised logs and ofc fixing the issues in balance that comes atfer that.
  5. So, answer my questions in a post you made this quote. wWhich considred to be hard bosses you killed in wow without vent or dmg meters, or with em? none. I talked earlier about 500 wipes on HC ragnaros and you said it was easy, you did it in MC. You dont even know what we are talking here so stop posting.
  6. It had 450k subs, 5% of wows subs, raid were with 72 people which were completerd with 15 people dead at a time when general player population had no clue. Most common cause between win or fail was that you couldnt find 72 awesome players in same raid, i dount that game even had 72 awesome players all together in sense that is it nowdays. We found common ground on applying dmg meters for guild use only but you showing your stupid EQ1 raid comparisons and knowledge of the raid difficulty of modern day makes you look like a fool.
  7. So, on what grounds youre basing that argument and how WoW raiding was so easy compared to EQ? What was highest tier boss you killed in Vanilla, TBC, WOTLK leaving out cata ofc. Did your guild without vent or dmg meters in vanilla kill 4 hm or KT in old naxx, C'tun or Viscious(as ally) in Vanilla? Did your guild without vent or dmg meters in TBC kill Muru and onwards in Sunwell Plateau or Gruul prenerf? Did your guild without vent and dmg meters in wotlk kill yogg with 0 adds, algalon, HC firefighter, HC lich king before 10%?
  8. Dont bring 40 man raids into this discussion, Vanilla raiding was a discgrace and yes, i did it atsame time when i was watching TV and first time i "had" to pay attention was at C*thun and after starting bosses in naxx 40. Current Nightmare moes are early MC level in terms of difficulty, doesnt sound very nightmare to anyone. Edit: in which guild you cleared AQ40 or NAXX without vent or meters? Would like to know.
  9. I said HC Ragnaros in Cataclysm expansion that was killed first time by a best guild in the world with sponsored and unlimited play time players that has recruited people for 8 years in a game that has 10 million players and it took 500 wipes. I agree with you on old Molten Core Ragnaros, apart of maybe 4hm and KT in old naxx vanilla raiding was very easy mode but no one mentioned it was hard at 40 man raid times, just like EQ1 massive raids didnt mean anything, it was more about finding enough better or dedicated players than average population. Now, when you say you done em both, when did you do HC Ragnaros or how many old EQ1 raiders were involved in it? I can answer, you havent and prolly none.
  10. OK, so which hybrids were priorized over main healing and dps spec classes in high rated RBGs? there is total of 4 non hybrid classes in WoW and 6 hybrid classes. 4 solid non hybrid DPS classes, hunter, mage, lock, rogue. 0 solid non hybrid healing classes. 6 hybrid classes out of 10, 2 that could heal or DPS, priest, shaman, 2 that could dps or tank, DK, warrior. 2 that could tank heal or dps, druid, and paladin. IN almost every top rated team was only 1 choice as a tank, warrior, there was atleast 2 non hybrid classes as mandatory classes, rogue+mage. 1 healer had to be a paladin. Now that 4 spots out of 10 in every high rated team was taken by prot warrior, holy paladin, rogue and mage, there was 6 spots left to fill with diffrent "pure" and hybrid classes, which ever route your team took, spellcleave or melee train, also dps DK was pretty much mandatory to every team so it leaves 5. There aint any non hybrid class in this game, and there will certainly be FOTM setups at high ratings and classes/specs that are left out from pretty much every team cause its just gimping the team. When your saying blizzard is correcting it in expansion with revamped talent tress, you are a clueless person. There aint any fixing in class roles, there has always been 6 hybrid classes and 4 pure dps classes and there will be after expansion. In ToR, every class is hybrid.
  11. Solo players has normal WZs for not organized teamd based PvP.
  12. It will be only for 8 man premades. BW aint stupid.
  13. Gratz, sounds like awesome and exciting world PvP.
  14. You are a joke. game played by a small amount of players when min/maxing wasnt the thing downing 70 people raid content with 15 people dead compared to 20 man raid of best players in the world in the game with 12 million players and it took 500 wipes to get a world first kill. None of EQ1 top guilds wouldnt even downed Muru, HC firefighter, 0 yogg or HC rag in any given time frame. But hey, times change, players get lot better generally etc. What comes to ToR NM raiding, it is a lousy joke and slap to any decent players face but hey, even ultra casuals can clear it, EA likes money, perfect formula, not for very long though.
  15. 21.7 hours per week is an average game time of an MMORPG gamer accordirng to studies, just because some play less doesnt mean that they suck or cry about basic philosophy of MMORPG games. WoW was first major casual friendly game in this genre and TOR took it to next step but just cause couple of people suck or play wrong game for em doesnt mean that most of us have to go to "southpark" style of gaming in terms of time spent.
  16. Dont worry, i play on top 3 populated PvP servers EU and i never saw a player of opposite faction outside Illum. PvP or Pve server, its all the same.
  17. We already found a common ground on this issue, BW already stated that combat logs are coming, week from that there will be damage meters. Why not give a tool for guilds where guild leader can decide if the guild will use an guild feature "damage meters" or not. Raid wide meters would be only used by guilds and flashpoints+ pug operations wont have that tool in use. Give one good reason. That would allow us to have harder content when guilds can single out people that needs help or gets replaced, depending on guild policies ofc. This thread wasnt about if they are adding combat logs/meters or not since it is 100% sure that there will be combat logs and about week after that meters, it was about ETA on combat logs.
  18. Reported for trolling, EQ1 massive raids got nothing else to do with hardeness that to find 70% of raid that didnt die during the encounter. You cant compare a small game with massive raids which allowed lots of people to die during the combat to a game that that had fights where was over 10 times more competition in raid spots and with fights that didnt allow mcuh mistakes and every member to be up to their game. Hardest EQ1 raids where about half of naxx level in terms of difficulty and that wasnt anything compared to hardest encounters after that where pinnacle is HC Ragnaros which is no doubt , hardest boss fight that MMOS ever seen.
  19. Casuals, plague of MMORPGs since WOTLK.
  20. This game is so story and lore oriented and that it doesnt really matter to majority of people if the content is trivial, each SW nerd has tgo have chance to complete the game in any dificulty or it will be chaos, they somehow feel like they are entitiled to do nightmare modes with their friends even if some of their freinds aint enough good players. Normal modes was supposed to be for not so serious people but they made nightmare content as same category.
  21. This formula is as accurate as 1+3=7. I can do false formulas also, yay.
  22. I agree, endgame content is one of the biggest joke we ever seen in MMOs in terms of difficulty and i doubt BW will set their mindset on that. Making nightmare modes even remotely challenging would cause many guilds disband, many players lose their raid spot and many guilds in a stalemate before they add combat logs sicne there aint much you can do to improve raid perfromance wise. untill then, all content has to be trivial which wasnt the orignal plan when they did operations with 3 different "dificulties"
  23. few of its boss fights are still hardest boss fights in MMO raiding history. You acn ofc watch your eq1 raids and **** via rose tinted glasses as much as you want.
