    Now you are just being silly - what droids? The ones built and programmed for security? Did they also come equipped with paint canisters, and paint removal materials? Oh and it is very much like the empire to take a military resource and have it paint the floor......

    I love it - he gives you a legitimate reason that the symbol would be there - and you call it lazy. You want to talk realism? Would the imperials take the time to repaint the floor of a base in a combat zone after they took it over? No. Would the replace the banners? Yea - standard practice of war.

    Thanks for all the tips folks. It sounds like I should have a DPS companion out and plan to kite. Guess i'll need to go buy some gear for Risha or Avaki .. seeing as I have never used either of them 0.0

    Hello Fellow Gunslingers, Prior to heading into the office this morning, I hopped online and did some early questing on Voss. Anyone have tips for this fight? Just bring friends, I suppose?

    While you have a point here about his attitude - the core point remains valid: it is a small segment of the population that enjoys that race. When you take that into consideration, and then factor in the development time of a raid, it just doesn't make sense. It is why WoW is finding ways to allow 80%+ of the player base to see raiding content in different difficulties.

    Several things in your post are very derogatory. If you don't find this game a challenge, don't play. I see in your signature you have cancelled 5 days ago - why are you on the forums? What do you stand to gain from this?

    This. So much this. I can't stand how competitive the PvE side of MMO's is becoming. I don't care if someone else has done the raid. I don't care who did it first, last, second, etc. I just want it setup in a manner that everyone has a chance to do the bosses, see the stories, get gear for there character - the things that encompass fun for most MMO players.

    Unless you share your home computer with someone whom you wish to protect your SWTOR account from, they method of IP logging is just as secure AND saves time.

    This. I love the story, love the voice-overs - but this is a game and not a book. Gameplay should always rule supreme. I spend 10% of my time on the story, 90% in combat/gameplay.

    While I somewhat agree - this does not address the OP's question, as this would only solve when he is traveling back to the fleet. Does the security vendor have a "Hoth Pass"? (Rhetorical question)

    Isn't this why most of us play MMO's though? Re playability, including some of the same content, is part of the MMO paradigm. Daily's, grinding a raid for gear, grinding flashpoints for gear - these are things some of us enjoy and are part of MMO game-play.

    I am working through Act 2 on my Smuggler Gunslinger, and I don't have anything like that. All of my class quests have really blended together well in terms of destination / holo usage.

    Wow - somehow I hadn't figured that out in 80 hours of gameplay and 37 levels... Woops! Ok - so to wrap up - whether I use "Crouch" or "Take Cover" - if I see green shields then I am benefiting from "Full Cover" if you will? Thanks for the help fatherjimbo!

    Ah ok so there is a difference. Now, if I am located behind real cover but use "Crouch" - do I benefit from the giant rock in my face or do I have to actually roll into cover?

    All, Due to the sometimes unpredictable nature of using natural cover, a few days ago I removed this from my bar and instead use crouch at all times (which puts up your mobile cover and drops you in place). A question, though: Does natural cover provide some bonus? Am I missing out on damage reduction by not rolling into natural cover?
