  1. Not sure if it's called phasing but I know some mates that referr to it as that. When you do something in game, say finish a questline which means that all evil droid in an area are disabled and a giant bomb drops and blows their base up. Say the Firestar quest on imp Balmorra. When you do something like that and it actually changes the planet for you. Is there any word on whether or not they're going to implement that? To clarify, only your world changes. WoW has, for instance, been doing this a lot lately and people are loving it. Even in your own story areas things rarely change based on what you've done and they certainly don't in the open world. Your actions have, in effect, no or very little bearing on your world other than in writing. I'm not demanding anything here, I'm not on strike, I'm just asking if anyone has heard whether this is something they plan on implementing? People are complaining about worlds feeling dead and static, this is something that no doubt could help with making your world feel more alive and changing.
  2. Argh, I can't decide. Running as 41 rage Jugg and I can't decide between Vette and Quinn. With Vette stuff dies stupidly fast but I have to heal up every 1-2 pulls. With Quinn things take longer to die but I never ever have to stop. Who do I go wiiiiiitttttth?!

    WZ xp?

So I'm lvl 37 and been running some WZs. Can't quite figure out how the XP system works. I just got 13k for a win in the new WZ, not a clear, fast win, but a win nonetheless. However, I got 20k for a loss in voidstar. How exactly does that work? Not sure if commendations have anything to do with it but I got fewer in the voidstar win. Is it supposed to be so weird?
  4. Yeah, trying Focus out and it hits hard. Unfortunately most mobs are pretty far apart which is a bit annoying. However, I grabbed the 2 points in def to get the free bladestorm. Can whip out some quick damage! Going to update Kira a little bit and give it a go with her. Killing goes pretty quick though but I still take some damage. It feels more fluid however.
  5. Well I've hit Alderaan now and essentially have to rest after every strong mob so I think I'm going to try out focus and see if that feels faster. Go with T7 instead of Kira. I'm quite enjoying it though, these Jedi Kniggits have a pretty nice feel to them
  6. I'm slowly crawling along here. At 26 now, ran vig up until now, decided to respec as def instead. In terms of leveling speed I'm not noticing much difference but that's all good. I imagine that once you hit the high 30's things will go faster. Can't complain that it's not smooth though, it's a very even leveling experience xD
  7. I did some searches but I can't find much on builds. I hear a lot about defence of vigilance builds which is fine. But before like lvl 30 it seems to me as if Focus has significantly better damage boosting abilities whereas Vig doesn't seem to have that or any really big survivability ones. So, isn't focus a bit stronger earlier? Then switch to a vig/def build?
  8. So I'm trying out Guardian for the first time and it seems... slow. Well, not slow, just kind of... not fast Anyways, I was wondering what the general concensus is as to what tree is most effecient at this point? Most of the posts I find is pre-1.2 so I'm not sure if there's any good ones out there hence why I'm asking. Any tips or trick? Is there any point that the guardian really comes into his/her own? Really, anything to help with leveling is what I'm asking for here!
  9. Darkness assassins do great damage for leveling purposes. It's so much smoother than the other two specs in my opinion. Also, considering a stage bonus quests equal about the same XP as 4-5 regular quests and you do them in the same area you're already at, it'd take an idiot to ignore them. They stand for a significant boost in XP per hour.
  10. I've leveled both an operative and a shadow to 30+. Running as tank spec for shadow vs the stealth spec or healing spec for operative, the Shadow felt significantly smoother. Doesn't mean it was more fun or more succesful in PvP or anything. Just smoother, a bit quicker, that is all.
  11. I switched over from Darkness to Deception a level or so ago (lvl 32) and things die quicker! Unfortunately, so does whichever companion I have. Khem, all in level appropriate gear with some orange and blues lose a good 1/3-2/3 of his life on a normal pull. A single silver will take him down 50% easily. Of course you can just dismiss/summon him again, that's 2 seconds worth of time so not particularly slow. However, it breaks the momentum and gets annoying. That's really the only problem I've got with deception so far. And I have tried running with a DPS companion too and he'll lose 50% of his life and I'll take some damage too so it's not particularly better. Might go back to darkness. I'd say leveling speed is roughly the same just that you can keep going for longer without having to stop. Just a smoother experience.
  12. I think it's about the ability delay/lag thingie. I've been running some WZs today and I can't even tell you how many times I've managed to stun someone, get behind them, press maul numerous times yet nothing happens and all of a sudden the target is unstunned and running about.
  13. Did her last night at 31, Darkness spec. But quite frankly, I don't think the spec matters if you let Khem Val tank. In fact, I probably would have done better in deception. Thing is, all you need to think about it interrupts. That's all I did and I had no problems with it. Khem Val was almost dead but I was at nearly full health if I remember correctly. Think I used a dual med pac thingie though but I'm not entirely sure. I expected her to be more difficult with what I've read on here but I treated her like I do any elite. I interrupt, I stun, I use the shockwave thingie as an extra interrupt, I taunt her every now and again, pop cooldowns not necessarily because I need to but rather to be safe.
  14. Well at this point you start seeing gear with more absorbation and defense rating and stuff as well. I'm a bit hesitant to mix and match though. While I see the idea behind it I'm not sure if there'll be a very noticeable effect on things though.
  15. So I'm running as darkness, quite enjoying it too. However, I'm getting to that point where you're starting to see gear specifically for tanking or DPS. Around lvl 25, Tatooine that is. So the question is, is there a generally favored way to gear for the purpose of leveling, doing the occasional PvP and maybe a FP or two while specced as a tank?
