  1. are you a full fledged subscription? Or, preferred only? I think only subscribers can queue 5 crafts at a time; but i don't recall any restriction on only being able to send one mission 'type' at a time? Not entirely sure, because i sub.
  2. I think the voice acting miss-match, and the side-specific achievements and story elements would make a true 'switch' a real headache to really make happen... i can understand this never being possible... Rather, for nothing other than QoL / RP reasons; i'd love it if each force sensitive class was able to train the mirrored version of a skill as well; and then decide which one to use. Obviously they would share a cooldown; so there would be nothing 'extra'; it would merely give players a way to choose which animation they prefer for a given ability... For example, i personally prefer most Guardian animations over Jugg, accept for Blade Storm. I'd love it if i could replace that with Force Scream. etc. I'd also love to see this for all the gun classes; but given that they use different weapons; i could see this being harder to really implement... other than say; if a Scoundrel equips a rifle/vibro, his animations are Operative; if an Operative uses a Pistol/scatter, he's using Scoundrel animations. IMO, this would allow for some nice fresh roleplay-ability; whilst not upsetting any real balance or voice acting or achievement conundrums. Plus lightning sage and rifle smuggler sound fun.
  3. I'm glad its not just me.. recently came back from a long hiatus and was going nuts because of this.... i'd say about 30% of the time i can actually see the ones i need. Seems to vary each session which ones do or do not show; but they do seem to rotate for me; as in some that i couldn't see last night might be visible to me tonight etc.
  4. huh; maybe the size of the chat window has a limit that is affected by screen resolution, and not necessarily UI scale? i have my chat window HUGE... Though, I play in 5760x1080 (three screens, ultra wide 21:9 ratio) which the game supports naturally; and have my chat window encompass about half of one whole screen. That said, I play with the general UI scale at about 1.25, so that i can make the mini-map much bigger, and then scaled down most of the other pieces to a 'normal' size... i'd honestly go bigger than that if i could (*for the mini-map only) but then windows like the large map and cartel market are horribly cut-off and impossible to efficiently navigate. EDIT: forgot to mention, i'd post a pic if i could but I'm trollin while at work; so i can't rn.
  5. im pretty sure one of the spec's get talents that affect it before they even get it. IMO, harpoon and blitz should be flip-flopped, else just make charge much lower than 59... but I'm sure if this happened; then shadows would likely be upset that they dont get their blink till much later, too... i think most, but not all, core abilities (stuns, interrupts etc.) have been adequately homogenized across each class, However, each class has one or two cool / core abilities that have a drastic affect on playstyle as a whole; and i believe they should be moved much lower level; so people get a good and proper 'feel' for a class before investing so far.... like Blitz... maybe both op/sniper rolls; maybe saber reflect.. etc etc... as mentioned, blitz being so high level is likely from older button bloat days where you still had a choice of abilities to engage with at 30m as a vanguard... Most of the others i suspect are intentionally high level as a device to ensure that freebie players have (had? depends on level) to sub to try them... I'd love it if blitz was moved lower; but until then (if ever) i'll be heavily reliant on rocket boosting into every pack when i play the lil vanguard alt... which at least feels slightly less ridiculous than stealth rocket boosting into position on the stealth alts... heh...
  6. I personally love both Scoundrel / Op animations... Concealment is very stabby and Scrapper is very punchy; but the other DPS specs (Lethality and Ruffian) use their main-hand weapon much more often; although both still have the core stab/punch in the rotation. I'd definitely lean more toward Op for 'cool' factor; despite me playing mostly Pub these days cuz friends. Slapping a giant mech or a sith can feel a bit silly sometimes, which is why i prefer Ruffian spec. More pew-pew, less fisticuffs. I still have to live with the awkward Surrender animation, though... The magically appearing Shotgun can indeed be hard to swallow; but i personally justify it with some of the baggy-western-duster type costumes, and imagine that its inconspicuously kept in a convenient pocket or latch somewhere near the left hand, etc. etc. I know, its a stretch; but it works for me. Along these same lines, i tend to gravitate toward belts that have grenades (or at least pockets) to make sense of most grenade-like abilities; and chest pieces with some kind of backpack to justify the infinite supply... And, for the medical droids; i honestly prefer the HoT animation on Op more than the Scoundrel; because its a decent visual indicator for when its worn off. I mean, scoundrel has some subtle visual indicators as well; but in the heat of things; i find the animation easier to register than glancing down at the buff bar. Thats pretty minimal, though; and if you hate it, you hate it; and shouldn't play it. All that said; ive struggled to stay invested in any lightsaber melee char that ive ever tried.... my brain allows pew-pew animations to be repetitive without issue; because i cant really imagine any other way to, well, pew-pew... but with the pure melee characters, i find the repetition of the animations unbearable... I wish each move had a few variants to play through, similar to the basic 'strike'... or at least mirror the other way once in awhile... I acknowledge that a 10y old game this far into its life cycle will likely never see any additional QoL animation put in.. Though i think one achievable band-aid to this would be to allow jedi/sith to train the abilities from both sides; and have them share a cooldown with their mirrors... given that they each function identically and the only difference is the animation, i don't think it would really have any negative implications. One example, for guard/jugg, i much prefer the animation to force scream, vs. blade storm... would be really cool if i could use scream on a jedi, instead of storm.... doing the EXACT same flip/flourish every 9 seconds gets boring to me.... I'd also love to see some flexibility with lightsaber or weapon choice; a guardian with two sabers, a shadow with a single saber, a smuggler with a rifle, a trooper with a pistol.... BUT, i know that will never happen....
  7. i concur. ive loved all of it... the story the play style... eveything... i think i was just Interested with my trooper until i got Storm. Now, i love my vanguard.... Love.
  8. im a little peeved, but im alright. that oitment you gave me really helped. how is that rash, anyways?
  9. you came from WoW, didnt you? =p hahaha... Anyways.. i stand by my original point... i believe the game is working as intended, and people assuming they are even slightly gimped by the root mechanic of dirty kick, dont have all the facts. and neither do i.. im just saying, what if it ISNT broken? and babyfood please try and spend more than 10 seconds coming up with a quip... make a valid point. what experiences do you have, that make you so hard up for making empty comments on the subject?
  10. im so sorry, i forgot you already know everything!!! please enlighten us, oh master of grammer and trolling!!! wow. just back up your claims people!! you made NO rebudle, just a quirky comment.. why dont we debate this, instead "LAWL L2P." plain and simple, we dont have all the numbers. As far as we know, dirty kick is working as intended. dont think so?? make your point... dont get all 6th grade and type out the first offensive thing you can think of...
  11. I have seen no such advertisment... link?? and, please link a dev that posted more than "we'll look into it." that isnt confirmation... Durr..
  12. Maybe you dont know all of the variables. Maybe the classes werent intended to be mirrored, just similar in role?? Maybe your idea would COMPLETELY unbalance the game, and draw unwanted attention!! have you considered that operatives may have slight delays on certain skills, that scoundrels do not?? dont judge a book by its cover!! just because it roots you, DOESNT mean operatives have this giant upper hand on you.... just make a bug report IN-GAME, if you feel like a change should be made...
  13. Then play a Sentinel // Guardian with training sabers or vibroswords... or just leave in peace!!! =p how about, check out a few youtube videos of a (range of levels, or at least higher) class before commiting to it? i did... helped me... i got what i was expecting =p
  14. Well if vanguards could use their current abilities at max range, then Jedi/Sith tanks will certainly cry for some sort of ranged ability or gap closer... well, dont like the vanguard being melee?? Reroll. Dont like what you Rerolled?? try it about 16 times.... still unsatisfied?? please dont play this game. and vanguard dps is NOT lackluster, like every other class, once you get your rythym down, your on right on par, and balanced.... im sure the only problem with your vanguard, is User Error. because mine works Great!!
  15. you are correct. but this is a Star Wars video game forum... 'w't'f' did you expect??
  16. What??? they werent legally married... sure, they had a ceremony, but jedi are forbidden to take place in such things... im pretty sure they cant have any sort of social leverage or status, or any Possessions, for that matter.... so, the marriage was Void.... it was just a Valentines day on naboo... no more, no less... if they were 'legally' amrried, why did Obi-wan have to figure it out?? why did they have to hide padme being pregnant?? because they were 'technically' bastard kids... eh???
  17. Im no super nerd, but i could have sworn i heard from a few super nerds, that acts 7 8 and 9 are about luke and leia starting a new jedi order, and discovering that the emporer cloned himself, like 1000 times??? supposedly he had just figured out how to clone force sensitive clones, and they were 'incubating' in some super secret facility when he died... i could be wrong though.. this is purely speculation on a conversation that probably took place very High. Also, without a doubt, anakin was the chosen one.. because he was Imaculatly concieved by the force... luke and leia were technically bastard kids... that happened to be force sensitive, because their dad was the original Jesus. Sure, luke was one of the factors in anakin DECIDING to kill the emporer, but luke was just the butterfly effect... Anakin was still the puppet master to the whole scheme... eh???
