  1. It's nice gear but kind of looks like stuff you can already get in-game. Plus I like the smuggler gear that my smuggler has on currently better haha I guess this is nice for future players/characters though. Is it moddable? Overall I must admit I'm underwhelmed... I don't like to be too negative about the game because I actually think it's great game but a lot of the gear has been sub-par imo (looks-wise).
  2. Ahh yes I notice the gathering aggro... forgot about that. I think when we send them out it treats the companion like an extension of ourselves I guess. But somehow I feel like the move-to option would be easier to implement than AI recognition of AOE/static attacks.. but I'm no programmer so maybe I'm wrong, but I do agree with all your possible options as alternatives... and yes! It's sooo creepy when they stare at us non-stop... it's like.. look at something else please!
  3. Yeah I think that companions are generally immune to aggroing mobs... I've noticed that too but wasn't sure... so thanks for confirming that.
  4. I'm also afraid that one day I'm going to have to let go of the white crystal I bought (yes I farmed up the 2.5 mill to buy one! lol)... due to stats being outdated in the future. I want white to be my permanent color and I think it's highly unwise to slap a stat on the color. I mean slapping a level requirement on certain colors is fine but stats? No good.
  5. Actually I do have a new media design degree... though obviously I never drew clothing art that much but I think with enough incentive I would... if you know what I mean ;D What would I do? I'd take a more simplistic route where jedi actually look like jedi.. I mean why can't consulars get clothing that looks more like Satele Shan's outfit... I think it's simple yet slightly elaborate enough to create a nice overall effect. Smugglers I'd take in a more western/cowboy direction (not long jackets or anything since they've done that, but something different).. I mean I want them to have hats that don't have a weird head-harness built in like they currently do (though I haven't seen the 1.2 designs for them yet). ANYWAY we DON'T have to force ourselves to use these since moddable gear will become viable for end-game content in the near future.

However, I'm happy that they're allowing moddable gear to be viable for end-game content soon so I guess this matters less to me because as a consular I've been using social gear to look unique. However to those who like using the end-game sets... I feel a little bad about this upcoming set lol.
  7. The wobble isn't subtle... I noticed it without trying to look for it... just stare at your jedi's hands while you run. I imagine it might be less obvious for certain jedi (like guardians who hold their weapons out front) but for consulars who hold them back, you can see it. I've noticed the wobble outside the PTR (I play live only).
  8. You know... now that you mention it I did notice my double-bladed lightsaber wobbling a lot when I ran with it held out. I never noticed it before and thought maybe I wasn't paying attention before but now that you've brought it up I too have noticed this.
  9. On the fleets sold in the market area by a Geologist vendor, 1 mil for the level 47 crystal and 2.5 mil for the level 50 crystal.

  11. I think that would be a good feature to implement in the far future, but I think for now at least giving us the command to have them move to where we designate would be a good first step to improving companion-aided combat.
  12. That's so funny... 1 minute ago I was reading a post and thought to myself "what a debbie downer.." In short, I agree! I just use these forums mostly to give *constructive* feedback and suggestions... the amount of QQ is staggering to behold for any new player. So I very much like this positive, refreshing review!

I made this account long before I had the game and I hadn't decided on my Jedi consular's name at that point so I picked a random name that I used in my previous MMO... but now I want to change it to my jedi's name and I can't. T-T Also you CAN view post count if you click on a person's name and view their profile so that's why to me it's not so big of a deal.
  14. I agree! I want to have the option open to me for changing things like: Makeup Hair Masks (for miraluka) Skin Tone (hey, what if I decided to tan?)

  16. Hmm I can't remember but does dismissing a companion take you out of stealth? Cuz if it does then I agree with your request. If it doesn't then dismissing should work out fine.
  17. Precisely. And because I'm a tank, OFTEN hitting "passive" isn't the wisest idea since I'm the one standing directly in most of the damage.... so I'm forced to watch my companion stand there like a moron and die. Please give companions a move-to!
  18. Title pretty much says it all. Companions should be able to be commanded to move to a designated location determined by the player using a marker on the ground (similar to how you can place AOE effects on the ground with a marker). My consular tank uses Tharan to keep her alive a lot, and as a tank I'm often required to take a certain amount of damage... Some mobs/bosses pull players in or do targeted AOE attacks and as a melee tank, most of the time I don't really have to move. However, when my companion with less health and damage mitigation stands around in these attacks it can often lead to his death, which then leads to my death. If I could just have a command to say "hey, go stand over here now... or over here" during combat that would be sooo much better!
  19. This isn't a first name... but by FAR the silliest *legacy* name I've seen is Flatulent. Why someone would deem that a good legacy name is beyond me.

  21. Thanks for making a totally fun storyline and overall game experience! And having a pretty decent character creator too. It's a lot of hard work to make an MMO and I think overall it's gone well (just need server merges now >_>)! Great work so far and keep it up!
  22. You know what companions REALLY need right now? A "move-to" command. I hate my healers standing AOE and I can't do ANYTHING to make them move out of it so then half the time if it's an elite boss they end up dying. I should be able to tell my companion where to stand at any given moment in combat or out of combat. That's about my single only gripe with companions in combat.
