I was aware early on that legacy was permanent and that it would not be changeable so I put a lot of thought into mine and how it would look on various races and such... So I agree with most of the people here who say "maybe just don't pick a silly name?" However.... if I was the company I would implement a charge for changing legacy names. That is, a real-money charge (not in-game credits). So I do think the ability to change should be implemented, but at a cost.

They said "after the next billing period" is what I've heard. So probably if you're a month-by-month payer, then next month.

Alright well I guess I can also say the stats never seemed to change for me? I've been levelling a trooper and I never noticed my tankbot (M1-4X)'s health drop mysteriously. It's always been 2k ahead of my own health as long as I keep his other stuff upgraded... So again, I don't think I've been experiencing this at all. Edit: Alright so I've done some testing... I guess I have been! But my companion's items really don't change his health all that much... it went from 13.1k to 13.8k... not a huge difference so I guess that's why I never noticed (nor has anyone else on my server it appears). I stand corrected! I guess it is game-wide... just not very noticeable. I suspect that is why it hasn't been fixed yet.

lol I didn't think anyone would care what server I'm on... anyway I'm on Krayiss Obelisk. No problems of this sort there. my companions always retain their items! Also: my guild is linked in my sig... you could have easily looked it up

Ya there are a few categories that are broken on the GTN. Among them: Earpieces Implants Companion gifts (aka the Miscellaneous category) I have yet to find others. When I try to sell these items they do not sell often because people don't realize the market is slightly broken... I hope this gets fixed soon!

I am totally not experiencing this bug. Maybe it's isolated to certain servers?? No one on my server has said anything about this or experienced this.

Regarding the pet issue: it gets gifted at 12 AM central... someone just informed me of that ^_^ As for the billing... tbh no idea lol maybe next month? >_> Edit: don't you just love when people say "yes you misread" then fail to give correct information? So helpful.

But I was under the impression that it would be an in-game mail item, similar to when they sent us our Founder title... and that was on-schedule so I'm just wondering if perhaps I misread the info on when they would send them?

I vote for the armory because I like looking up people's characters for fun... and my own too! And I know this is a bit of a silly reason but I love making my own avatars and sigs, and it's way easier to do that through an armory than it is to try to get the perfect screenshot off the game... especially if the armory provides a 3D rendering of your toon (which is what the wow armory USED to do).

Ahh thank you. You've worded it better than I did. I want to make this clear: I know it's easy to make credits. I ground up the 2.5 million I needed for the white lightsaber crystal from that vendor pre-1.2. My point is that they basically said "you can look any way you want! isn't that neat?" and many of us were excited at the prospect of tweaking our looks whenever we want to. Then I hit 50, get items with epic mods and it costs *enough* credits to make me wince, even though I know I'll earn those back over a period of time. Sooo yes thank you

And it would cost 3x the amount you have now to change 8 items (if you were going for a whole new look, of course. but likely most people would only change a few items). However since the old ops gear is now moddable a lot of people ARE changing their whole sets, with full epic modding.

I disagree. Belsavis only gives enough to perhaps change 1.5 pieces of gear with epic mods. I'm saying if someone decided they're going to change all the gear they have to a new look, it would take multiple days of grinding dailies. I know that sometimes credit sinks are necessary but the steep nature of wanting to look the way you desire is almost off-putting. Almost.

lol I knew people would start in with the "herp derp money is easy to make!" posts... Look i'm fine with credit sinks... heck the whole legacy perks system is one huuuge credit sink.. I'm just saying I shouldn't have to grind out 5 days of dailies (though perhaps now less with corellia) to change a whole outfit. Maybe one day of dailies? That seems reasonable to me.

Yup! I said that earlier too I've been using it to heal but the video I posted earlier went a step further and showed me a in-game system I wasn't aware of (that is, binding your abilities to a target with a pre-defined key). Learned something new today myself!
