  1. He doesn't leave, like several other companions he sends a mail that he doesn't want to fight his old faction but is otherwise around as normal.

Since 7.0 you can't split stacks within the material storage anymore - if you have 100 of an item and you want to sell 10 of them, you have to take all 100 out of the material storage, split off 10 in your regular inventory, and then put the rest back. I reported this as a bug early on, however it's not on the known bugs list so perhaps this was intentional. However, today I noticed that I'm running into problems if my material storage contains a large enough number of items that taking them all out would require more than a single stack in my regular inventory. When I try to pull those items out, I get the error message: "There was a problem depositing into the materials stash" (even though I'm not trying to deposit into it but rather take things out). This means that those items are unavailable to be traded or sold.

  4. Really happy to see this contest return. I already submitted shots for a few planets but hopefully I'll come up with some more. As for the announcement, I first saw it on Twitter and then also noticed it on the forum sidebar. I was a bit surprised when this post came up on the dev tracker because my mind kinda went "wasn't this already announced yesterday" without realising that it had only been posted on other channels.

It's a shame that this is needed to prevent abuse, as I find the idea of any social media platform telling you "whoops, no more likes for you today" quite bizarre, but if that's how it has to be... personally I'm thinking the allocation should at least be doubled to 20.

  7. Just got the error "Sorry, you cannot add any more reactions today" when trying to like a post. 😅 I'm surprised there's a limit on these? But even if it's needed, 10 per day seems kind of low?
  8. Yeah, it might still be in the works. When I clicked around a bit and got to the "leaderboard" page, I saw it had a message on top saying: "The search index is currently processing. Leaderboard results may not be complete."

  10. First off, good job! I was pessimistic that the transition would result in lots of broken links on my blog where I linked to specific forum threads, but everything appears to still be working. Just a question from me: Will old posts that were imported into the new software eventually be searchable? When you click on the post count under anyone's name, it only shows posts they made since the transition, and posts from before then currently also don't show up in forum search results.
  11. I think this is on the known issues list. Yes, the bullet point in that post says "heroics", but if you click through to the linked thread, it's about all kinds of phases and people have already reiterated that it's not just heroics. It also definitely doesn't have anything to do with combat styles as all of my own characters that this has been happening to still have their original advanced classes.

At this point I don't think there are many people left who've consistently been creating content about the game since its launch (even if I've slowed down a bit in the last couple of years)... I actually don't know whether this is working as intended, considering that the vendor dialogue only has options to change your choices, not make your existing ones reappear; but I thought I'd put it here just in case it's meant to be that way. Anyway, point is I really like the temporary abilities you can earn through the Manaan storyline, but it's awkward that they disappear the next day and you have to talk to the vendor and ask for changes, even if you just want to have the same abilities again. It would be great if the game remembered your choices and they automatically re-popped every time you land on Manaan.
  14. Surprised this isn't flagged as a known issue, considering I've reported it multiple times via the in-game form as well. Basically it seems to affect any kind of objective that isn't an outright kill objective. Sometimes you can get around it by making sure to stay right on top of each other/always clicking on things at the exact same time. However if you don't, what seems to happen is that the fastest person's objective tracker updates, and everyone else is now "out of sync" and can't advance anymore. Most of the time this happens with clicky items, which then become unclickable for other group members, but e.g. in Cyber Mercenaries I've also had the objective "Find the Cyber Leader" bug out when my husband ran into the area first and triggered the next step, at which point I still had the marker for finding the leader, but no amount of running around the area would update the mission for me (until we both exited and reset the phase again).
  15. Giving this a bump because this is clearly still an issue. I think it happens on all difficulties, but it's only on the higher ones that it really wipes you. I managed to record some of Sunder's craziness in Scum MM tonight: In the first clip you can see him killing me from off-screen, and when I turn the camera he appears to be on the other side of the room from me. The other two attempts show him targeting me, but running in weird circles/actively away from me, just to then somehow melee me from halfway across the room again.

  17. I don't mind a delay, but can you explain a bit more about why this announcement came so last minute? (I have guildies who planned their holidays around the launch and are understandably ticked off.) You only locked down the 14th as the original release date less than three weeks ago. What changed so dramatically in those weeks that you suddenly realised you need another two months?
  18. I think there is some good feedback in this thread already; I just wanted to add my voice about Sorc/Sage since that's my main alt. In general, I agree with those that don't like the choice between pull and the immunity bubble at level 70. I can understand wanting to make the pull optional, since it's an extra button that a full solo player can easily do without, but the placement in this tier feels kind of unfair. Extrication is a great way of assisting other players in very specific situations: any Huttball match, friends stuck in terrain, any situation where you have to move quickly such as being marked for death on MM Dread Guards. But you don't always know in advance when it will be useful, and you're more likely to need Force Barrier even more. It would be good if Extrication could either be baseline or moved to a tier where it doesn't compete with something quite so essential in a group setting. For Lightning, I just wanted to echo previous comments that some things that appear to be intended to be passives don't seem to be working correctly at the moment but instead give you an extra button that doesn't appear to function properly either (Halted Offensive, Insulating Blast) - hard to test that way. For Corruption, the level 15 tier seems really interesting on paper but again I wasn't sure whether it was working correctly. Haste wouldn't proc for me at all, and Rally worked on a basic level, but doesn't appear to be a smart heal at the moment (as in, automatically applied to the lowest health target in range)? It would really have to be smart to be useful. As someone else commented, the level 30 tier seems very uninspired - the Resurgence spread is a neat idea, but the other two options seem weak to the point of being useless.

  21. Having the same issue. Got the flashpoint weekly but no second one. Could this have something to do with out of sync timings again? I only completed last week's weeklies last night, and I had PvP and GSF - could it be that it gave me one of those again but thinks I've already done it? Not that there's anything showing as completed either...
  22. I just wanted to say that it was very funny to me to see the title of this thread and go "Yes! I'm glad people agree that being asked to do nothing but grind bugs every day is super boring!", just to find that the actual content of most of the posts in here is pretty much the opposite, haha. Wish I could trade with some of you who keep getting the daily PvP objective, but I've not got it once all week, even with re-rolls. Instead it's planetary mob grinding and yet more planetary mob grinding...
  23. I'd just like to know why the leadership of those guilds is doing this. I understand having a mega guild or even multiple mega guilds, but there are only 3-5 planets to invade during most Conquest events. Invading the small yield planet as Shield of Destiny #10 and coming 8th doesn't get you anything special, so what's the point? Clearly it's not their awesome community.
  24. Despite of the Pirate Incursion event being switched off now, there are still hostile pirate mobs all over Dantooine! My pacifist Jedi is having a hard time petting Kath Hounds in peace. EDIT: Small correction: They don't seem to be all over the place, but there are definitely some still around that shouldn't be there, mostly near the Republic and Imperial bases.

The bug described by the OP has been around for a long time but there is a workaround (just verified yesterday that it still works): once you reach the bugged minefield, go back out and reset the phase (not the mission). When you go back in you'll have to re-kill most of the trash mobs, but when you get to the droid there'll be an on-screen message saying something like "system reset" and then "escalating countermeasures" and the droids will start spawning. But yeah, as others have said, also watch out for droids bugging out inside the ray shield; best have someone stand in front of it and immediately intercept any mobs going that way before they can get in there.
