  1. That's the point, make it an eye sore so you notice it. As for someone else lamenting that they don't see Focus Problems, They do. They said so. They just have bigger priorities. As they also said so. Quite clearly. Edit: You have two geared tanks ready and waiting on your char roster? That's a surefire way to get yourself locked into tanking and never getting to do anything else, very boring imho. I keep one of each roles geared for HM Nim purposes.
  2. No. NO. NNonono no no nonononono no NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO No. NO. ..NO. ................ No.
  3. No. Have you EVER read these forums? Developers that read here immediately ignore guys like you, who only want "I WIN" buttons. So asking for a buff on your own AC and a nerf for another AC is a surefire way to NEVER get noticed. Stick with the "give us self heals back" argument, because they won't nerf another tanking AC to make you look good.
  4. I need to ask EVERYONE a very honest question. Who the hell has THREE DAMNED TANKS, One from each Tanking AC, that is READY AND ABLE to do NiMs? Holy hell people, my guild has problems finding the second one, if you have a ready tank, you take them.. You DON'T SEARCH FOR A SPECIFIC AC endlessly. So let it go on the tanking part, all three ACs are PERFECTLY CAPABLE of clearing ANY content.
  5. Contrary to popular opinion, SWG fans were not stupid. So they won't fall for this overt marketing trick. .... I hope.
  6. http://angryjoeshow.com/2014/04/elder-scrolls-online-angry-review/ Our Lord and Saviour Joe has spoken. Heed his word.
  7. Am I the only one that has an issue with the fact that: Kyle Katarn is NOT canon BUT Jar *********** Jar Binks is? I mean really? Realzies? For realz?

  9. Yes, there is more than one person working on SWTOR.... But total number is only enough to sustain about 4 projects at a time. They have a total of 6 teams I think. Manpower in Bioware Austin is a bit lacking dear. Priorities, priorities.
  10. Now that EU is totally discredited thanks to overzealous money grabbers, CAN WE GET KYLE KATARN SET? Kyle Frigging Katarn, I beg of you. Before they completely erase him. And no, I'm not gonna link a picture of him, he's frigging KYLE f....g Katarn.
  11. This. Wildstar is.... above average. And that's about it really.
  12. The second one sounds awesome. Especially the port back part. Almost like good old KOTOR
  13. Deal with your own issues, we will get a time nerf on F.Def. Move along dear shadows, you REALLY have much bigger issues than messing with us Guardians. For example: Spiky tanking, subpar force regen, lackluster balance spec, totally unbalanced PvP PvE disparage of Infiltration, Infiltration being the trash DPS spec in PvE... Must I go on, because I'm very depressed for you guys just typing these? So let go of trying to nerf guardians and try to get yourself buffed.
  14. Riiiight, the internal elemental damage is so much so that shadows are best for it? Hate to burst your bubble, but all 3 tank specs are very viable in all of those fights, but I find guardians especially powerful with snap threats and instant switches with Force Leap and overabundance of cooldowns. A good shadow fares very well not because of its mitigation ( they are still vvery spiky compared to other two, that mitigation doesn't matter when raptus decides to Thundering Thrust your ***) but because of unique mobility options and godmode resilience and AOE threat control. A vanguard shines especially later on because of high shielding in a number of situations, in 3rd 4th and final boss fights. Add to that the Hold The Line and increased range aggro capacity over the other two, it also does well. You need to accept one thing straight away. A good tank is a damn good tank no matter the spec. Guardian just happens to be easy mode nowadays. And a not-so-good-tank.... Well you can tell me what a not-so-good-tank does, since some Guardians around here seem to be suffering from something, but it sure as hell ain't guardian tanks being subpar. People, you have not seen true subpar, some people still remember pre 2.0 GRD tank, which was quite useless.
  15. I thought that this was a very common knowledge, reflect acting as a AOE threat snap? I mean, doesn't it say it on the very description of the talent itself? Daunting Presence: Force Leap has a 50/100% chance to finish the cooldown on Force Kick. In addition, Saber Reflect lasts ( 1second / 2 seconds) longer and generates a high amount of threat on all engaged enemies within 30 meters when activated. Quite clear. And its effect is quite visible, I've seen our Guardian Tank pull off hordes of trash off healers and DPS, Not with challenging call, but frigging Reflect itself. It's so visible when you know what to look for.
  16. That's NOT knowing tthe fight. When you first go in, everyone is clueless, so it's perfectly reasonable to wipe a few times off the bat. If the healer knows the fight, and is a capable healer, it's almost impossible to die in first minute UNLESS the tank himself makes a mistake. Which they usually do, since tanking in this game is much more interactive than others. And when tank makes a mistake of positioning or rotation, he can only blame himself.
  17. Reflect is strongest.... Because it's an AOE effect. Might not matter on a singular boss, but reality is that it is built to be an AOE threat snap with a %100 hit chance and same threat as Pull. Hence, it is strongest.
  18. They like to demolish me out of stealth, for some reason. *whispers* I might be murdering their healers with endless zeal
  19. That sounds a lot like my "Reflect, ******!" whenever I activate a big hit Reflecting dismantler's on draxus, that's just priceless. A lightning related thing is a bit out of question as that aspect of Sith arts are exclusive to Inquisitors. I'd vote for simple, good old Force Rage effect from Jedi Knight series.
  20. Bad off tanks? Really? Dude, I want whatever you smoked. And you are a goddamn Jedi Knight, did you expect to use blasters? Ofc you won't have many ranged abilities. It's intended.
  21. It is the strongest snap tank threat skill. Reflect, that is. And on a one minute cooldown, so no one can cry " I will need it later on to survive!" Because brother, if your healers can't keep you up for first minute of the fight, you should really replace them with better healers.
  22. I always found that red shield to be very un Star Warsy, very WoWish, cartoonish animation. I mean, a red shield hovering, really? It's just dumb. A slight red glow, signifying anger and hatred would be much more appropriate.
  23. I'd have to say, it's most powerful in a LOT of people's minds, including mine. Threat generation is a matter of skill and strategy for Guardians, I've seen GRD tanks who never fail to lose it, and those who never Lose it. Same with the other two tank specs. For tanks, aggro generation is always a matter of skill. Knowing the fight, knowing the boss, knowing yourself. It's very Zen to be a tank. The fact that if a skill miss / resists in the opener is a problem for all tank specs, not just GRDs. Personally, I'd keep it that way. Makes things a lot more interesting than WoW-style mindless drone tanking.
