  1. I'm sorry, but the cartel market ships are ugly. I mean, the old-Moa-design-from-EVE-Online ugly. I want to buy one, but would only do so to save me time on the grind..no mainstream appeal at all. And its a shame.

  3. Stirred up a hornet's nest, I see That wasn't my intention, but I'm glad this thread has interest to some. I would like to see class - specific missions for everyone, not just smugglers and bh's..those 2 classes were on my mind when I made the OP. I wish there were a dynamic mission system that includes pvp missions, available by choice. I don't want forced pvp, I want game - wide ACTION. My OP was (admittedly) poorly thought out ruminations on how to shake this game up. I like a lot of what I see, I just want more spark, more juice to the whole thing. I find G'S particularly enjoyable, even when getting shot down. I like dogfighting. I just want larger battles, "furballs", if you get my meaning. It may be that I'm in the wrong game. If so, like I said before, I'll enjoy it for what it is, and move on to something closer to what I want when I find it.
  4. I appreciate all the responses..again, I do understand the differences between SWG and TOR. What I'm looking for is an "off-rails" experience. TOR wasn't built that way(although, for the love of god, with the hundreds of millions they spent, I can't understand why it wasnt). It IS a good game, I'm enjoying it. I just want more freedom . Thanks for reading this thread.
  5. Understood..but that's just the class story. What I'm after is more persistent,open world content. I guess it would require actual persistent space, as opposed the the on-rails space or the instanced GSF(and, BTW, I think GSF is great, not knocking it). Perhaps what I want is just not the way TOR is designed. I also play EVE, just to give you an idea of my mindset. Maybe the devs will "open up" TOR at some point..it just feels like everything is so tightly controlled..I like gameworlds where a character can make an impact. I don't feel that here. But, I also understand I should enjoy TOR for what it is..I just want more free-form opportunities.
  6. Is the monthly BH event open to all players, regardless of class, or us it only for a BH? If open..let a prospective bounty system follow a similar track. If this is not viable "mechanics"-wise, fine..I just think that this could be one way to add more fights. I love the game as it is..just needs more open world pvp to spice things up, IMHO. And I do wish smugglers could actually smuggle something..but that's just me.

  8. Well, the only way to get a bounty on your head would be by pvp..so if you don't pvp you would be unaffected. And, again, I know this isn't SWG, but I think that, in a game like this, the more pewpew the better.
  9. You don't say I think pvp BH'ing would bring a lot of fun to TOR, more pewpew..
  10. Hi there. So, in SWG smugglers had a "smuggling grind", for various rewards(commonly referred to as pizza delivery missions), but at least it was SOMETHING. Also, when you PVP'd in SWG you would get a bounty on your head, and a BH could hunt you, anywhere in the gameworld to kill you and get the credits. Why doesn't that exist in TOR?
