    Why was crit nerfed?

    everything got hit. More then crit, shield chance, and defense chance got a huge hit. Aborb too, but in lesser degree I guess.
  2. less burst would 'buff' nerf healers threads. After a while you learn how to deal with bursty classes. Atm out of their burst they're mostly usless until next burst phase. if you take out burst, the healer killer, you are just feeding whine trolls. It makes some defensive classes more wanted. Like juggs in stun defensive cool down, and saber reflect - short but returning that burst back to the attacker. Or sins escape from burst attacker during burst phase... every thing has it needs IMO. as for topic: in short, pvp here is fun and even. It's some players that are miserable and make others miserable by losing games in stupid ways. I don't mind losing, it's part of life. There is always some one better then me out there. What I mind, is losing cause some muppet doesn't call incs, has less dps then healer, *****es on /ops chat blaming others for his lack of skill crying how hard this game is. People complaining it takes no skill to be good makes me wonder. If it takes no skill to be good, why you are so bad?

  7. are you one of those shadow tanks in dps gear? My jugg can live long only if I chain my def CD in right order and aoe mezz, but yeah, Juggs/Guardian tanks are most durable in pvp. Also, as shadow, your job is not to face tank guarding node, first you sap and call incs, interrupt, kite a bit, put teleport beacon somewere cleaver, pull enemy from node and port back. Restealth when needed. Balance in lowbie brackets is irrelevant.

How can you blame people for teaming up, when sometimes amount of bads in pug pvp goes thro the roof. some don't call incs, don't respond to incs, wear wrong gear (like marauder with willpower implants and cunning armour pieces), never heard word 'objectives' or 'tactics' nor 'interrupt'... getting out dpsed by my tank in tank gear... it's not path of least resistance, it's path of least annoyance. Bio actually reduced farming aspect by removing 're-ing' of pvp gear that these farmers did to get rare mats and selling them on GTN. Since that change, most pre-mades I see are leveling up or learning to cooperate, not super killer squad from ranked.
  10. They are not punishing you. They are rewarding you less. For pve you need to gear, travel, interfere with puzzling quests (overstatment I know). Why give same reward for sitting and node and punching random buttons? (I said random buttons, since that's what majority of people in lowbie pvp does). Pvp rewards with comms you will use later for gearing. Exacly what it should. I understand you want more credits and XP from it, but careful what you wish for. When it will be profitable and again (as it used to be) fast way to level up, people will come in just for credits and XP, not to do actual pvp. Last time I've seen lowbie pvp, I asked 'why you people not even trying to win' I got response 'why should we, we will get XP any way'.
  11. Not really. tank can't shut down healer from healing. He can be pesky, interrupting and stunning (untill resolve fills), eventualy push and slow, but tank won't be shutting down healer. That's DPS frikking JOB. (I mean you can push him behind things, but he will just come back). PVP tanks every were. Unite. Our role is protecting OUR healer, not doing dps's job for them. Sure, we can support shutting down healer or throw ocasional cc when he is passing by accident. Or do chain annoyance to him when dps is focusing other healer (as mentioned, interrupt, stun,interrupt,mezz,interrupt) to prevent cross healing.
  12. by *my healer* I mean a guy, that I get teamed up with in pug game, who is healer and I set him as my focus target and guard him all the time... more precise would be 'I'm his tank' buy saying that hurts my ego if people attack jugg tank and leave healer to free cast heals, that it's their own fault for losing. *I* don't win pugs. I'm very often in pugs that win. We are part of a team and must work together to achieve Win. I was also in many games where 8 of us were all DDs, no healers and no tanks. Guess what, Many of those games were won.
  13. excluding my 12 chars on signature, I had 11+ chars that I deleted at level 40+. doing same planet 5 times is nothing hard. my way of leveling: ding a char. get to level 5 about. leave it in cantina for 2 days. ding to 10, leave it on fleet for 3 days. ding to 15 and finish first planet you get star ship, do space missions, relog into other char. next day pop space missions, relog to other char rinse and repeat till your level = max recomended level of next class mission planet burn story, go back to ship. do space missions, relog to other char. next day do space missions and relog to other char till you have max level of next class mision planet, burn thro story... you get the point and by 'ding' I mean do quests that are on your way using rested XP to boost xp from killing, do all bonus objectives (specialy stage 1,2,3,4 are very proficient in XP) ofc I don't level healers that way, I like doing missions as healer. or if I like char in particular way (like my currently level 41 shadow - basicly mirror of my main pvp - or my marauder and mercenary).
  14. bolster would be better (work better) and more accepted if: 1. they would implement it instead of recruit gear. but I get it, recruit gear easy to put in, maybe was good idea, but badly designed (couldn't be too good either), poorly executed, and models were plain ugly. 2.they would put bolster in place as 1.8, then making fixes and tweaks til 1.8.2b and THEN introduce level cap + new pvp gear and huttcartel with 2.0. not new levels, new gear, and new bolster at same time. 3. they would listen to players and did more work, of 2 weeks of focusing on bolster it self. but I get it, EA pushed release date and devs didn't want to do recruit mk-3 and Then bolster, as it would be disaster. bolster is good and here to stay, get over it. it was poorly inserted in game, but it's 99% fixed now, get used to it.

    Dot Protection

    lethality has cleanse protection, they are reaplying, think it's almost top tier, so not for hybrids. even if cleansed, they leave 'weaker version' which still alows you to do cull. madness dots can only be cleansed by sorcerers, and as we know no one takes sorcerer healers any more since op are 3times better healing and super op (that line is a joke)

  17. I find lowbie brackets so much frustrating experience, that I would preffer to do Jedi Consular without chosing advanced class 10 times in a row then leveling 1 char 10-55 just by pvp
  18. where did I say that if smashing buttons in correct order takes no skill, why my tank is above80% of avarage warzone in damage? if focusing target and picking up targets takes no skill, why people trying to focus fire my tank? (you know, instead of my healer?) 3 nights ago I converted my operative into dps from healer. in healer gear, guarding for 1/2 of warzone, I had top (about 600k) total damage next guy was fighting all time with (400k) .... some people just do it wrong sure, anyone can just go in and smash random buttons, and then come to forums he doesn't understand why he is losing. since it takes no skill to smash correct buttons (only he doesn't, as he isn't mainstream)
  19. if smashing buttons in correct order, min maxing your gear, picking up targets properly, focus target and tab targetting doesnt take any skill, why so many fail on that?

I do deception Sin, I hate having high damage, it means my targets don't die sadly, I have not many options in getting killing spree, as usualy being presigned unwillingly as node guarder... but it's definetly fun, when my team sucks in hutball, to go enemy end and score solo kills, just for lols
  21. To be fair, unlucky and maybe wrong time and day. There are some days that make me lose fate in humanity overall. Sometimes it's really bad team mates, sometimes it's republic players strongest teams doing weekly in one go (means extra strong premades double queing, or simply very strong players doing their weekly vs avarage pugs). Usualy it's not that bad, you will often have 1-3 individuals that seem to mistake SWTOR for FarmVille or Sims, but it's not *That* bad.
  22. Against match making are people who need to be carried. It's funny , cause they don't get it, that even in solo que, they will get farmed same way, only difference, they will not be able to cry about premades.. but they will find something to complain about. (look operative/scoundrels and assassins who will be seen as OP in unorganized, low grade pug pvp)
  23. making it possible to kick bads who are basicly playing for other team, making it 7 vs 9, is a way to fix pvp..
  24. aoe taunt doesn't put stealthers out of stealth, it puts them in combat making sap impossible. Not sure for how long it keeps them in battle tho. They (PTs) can put stealthers out of stealth with stealth scan on other hand.
  25. I loved lineage2 pvp. Open world based on flagging, PK that if you get caught actually costs you (more pk rating you have more items you drop when dead as PK), siege system (probably would not work for me now with 2 jobs and real women in my life lol), small smack each other with no reward (other then respect) arena, open world pvp for resources like questing areas, leveling area, special drop area... BUT I currently love pvp system here. Casual and pro friendly, Don't have to be in pvp guild to have some pvp, no more vast gear advantage issue (like in LIIA it could be team of 20 super pros with crazy gear vs 80 zerg noobs) and fixed number 8 vs 8. Open world is ok too, even on pve servers like mine (pvp self flag is gentle and stops griefing).
