  1. I'm not sure I like the no-loot thing. I remember playing through an EQ2 arc where loot rarely dropped and instead you got tokens. It was immensely less satisfying to me. Logically, currency should be better than getting a loot you couldn't use or didn't want, but then, I guess I didn't play for logic. I played for fun, and getting loot was fun... not getting anything, over and over again, just reminded me what a chore it was.
  2. Sounds good to me, if social was across all my characters I'd easily have social X by now-- probably even if it were divided by faction. As it stands I've played since launch and have two pages of characters with social between 3-7. And it's and pretty much not going anywhere with all the solo focus these days.
  3. +1, I like this idea. And it's unrelated, but while we're talking about social unlocks that social X double laser thing should be cheaper to unlock, who gets to social X these days. If they combined all my social points across characters I'd easily have it, but instead I have a bunch of guys social ranks 5-7 (and I've played since launch!).
  4. For sure. But the bad thing is once you have those cheap items, when you get them again in your cubes they will sell for pennies. Part of pack appeal is the leftovers are generally not worthless, you can make a little coin and then buy stuff you didn't get. Since the extras are becoming worthless, buying packs in bulk makes less sense than before, and that means we will see the rare stuff get rarer (and more expensive) on the GTN.
  5. Yes please. I only like less than half of them and I've used them to death. Some more faces and some non-comical hair would go a long way. I would like faces and hair that look like real people and/or characters who are in the movies, not more silly or outrageous stuff.
  6. I can't speak to certificates specifically but FWIW I got a full set of armor that is sold by ICE faction vendors (in the cartel bazaar) out of a grand chance cube. Maybe that is how they are dealing us not getting access to faction points anymore. I wonder if they put Cartel Certificate items in the chance cubes as well? Has anybody got something from it that used to cost certificates?
  7. I would like to see decorations added to collections if for no other reason than to easily see what's new with each pack. I don't even care if I can unlock them. I just want to know what I'm missing. I have to go to another website to figure this out or comb through every category on the broker and hope new stuff is for sale. Surely there is a better way to see what I'm missing? It can't be slogging through the bulky decorations interface. IMO if I could find a list of every decoration, per pack, in-game, it would drive sales of packs, not compete with them. Why make it harder than it needs to be for decorators to interested in new packs, too?
  8. Final update. Once each skill was raised to 140 or 141 then I was able to use the missions. I had to click them in my bag after that and they suddenly it up after skill 140.
  9. I like collecting bronze items because 60cc unlocks means fun and affordable options I can share with all my characters. I keep the 240 and 400 stuff exclusive to one character, and in reality too much of it stays in my bank while I worry about who "deserves" it. How about a chance for an item that grants you a free unlock? That'd be worth more to me than most of the stuff in the box.
  10. I didn't see another official feedback thread for Eternal Championship so I apologize if this is the wrong place to comment. Most of my play history has been in a duo. We have had a lot of fun over the years with different pairs, seeing how just much H4 content we could achieve (quite a lot, it turns out). As such, I've been glad to see KoTFE support heroic duos with H2 missions, tacticals, and star fortresses. However, it seems this advancement path leaves duos out of the equation. If I understand it right it's solo rewards or no rewards. Will there another way for duos to gear up outside of EC, or somehow participate in it (spectator mode)? We shared in the solo advancement path up until now and I can't be the only one who plays with a dedicated friend or family member.
  11. I'm talking about the anniversary edition toy we can get for a 0 credit in-game price at the vendor. IMO it should be 1cc to unlock like some of the other special items we can collect. 400 to unlock it for other characters seems excessive.
  12. Any choice besides PvP is what we need, and this is a good idea the OP has. I don't care too much about having them right now, but I might care once getting them is blocking an update for the next companion. If you aren't going to change the PvP requirement, you need to change how we get the missions so we can ignore a PvP requirement without blocking a new companion quest.
  13. I like to watch the cut scenes. I like to send my crew on missions. I do not like seeing a giant, green message taking up a quarter of my screen during my cut scenes that says YOUR COMPANION HAS COMPLETED THE MISSION YOUR SKILL IS NOW XXX. Especially now that missions complete faster I see them constantly in the middle of my story play. Can you please give me an option to suppress it? The blinking pending message is quite enough for me, thank you.
  14. How about /broke, and it makes the part of the animation from the smuggler surrender ability where all your money falls out of your pockets. I would use it pretty much after every new pack comes out. x.x
  15. I agree with the OP but understand why some people like open world. My solution is they should mark ON THE QUEST whether it's open or private. Then I will only take the private ones and there enough of those it's easy to stay happy. I am actually keeping my own spreadsheet since they don't do it in-game.
  16. My friend pulled a barrel out of an item he bought with blue quality crystals, the Defiant Bolt Blaster's Offhand Blaster MK-4, and put it in his main hand gun, assuming it would work. It let him slot it, but instead it changed his gun, a rare A116 Marksman Interceptor, to an offhand only gun. When he took the barrel out, the gun was still an offhand gun. Then he went to his bank, found a gun from a while ago that was main-hand only, pulled out the barrel, and put it in his gun... and it didn't change back. It's stuck as offhand, and ruined for him now. I told him to go find another commendation gun with a locked mainhand barrel, but all those vendors are gone from the fleet. So at this point his the gun is ruined and he can't use it with his class. Is there anything he can do? And you should fix that bug. The barrel should NOT permanently change the weapon type.
  17. ... and it's a terrible tank. Teleporting sometimes, not moving other times, etc. It needs some work on the sounds and on the performance.
  18. Really? I thought it was an "on top of" bonus, a little something extra for having done it. Reading it again I see what you mean. They should have made it clearer the companion benefit doesn't come from achievement but instead from the path to get there.
  19. Update - I raised all three of my skills over 120 and the 115 missions are still not letting me use them. for any skill. I'll keep working on the skill levels and see if they open up, though it's frustrating I can't use them while leveling.
  20. I am playing the story with a buddy in the same room and we both started the Shadow of Revan Prelude quest from our starships. Once we realized it was unique to each of us, we both canceled it so we could start it and again watch each others' cutscene. However, when we did that the scene autocompleted and gave us rewards, and wouldn't let us view it again. Why?! Please make it behave normally, like every other cut scene. We had to go and look it up on youtube to view it (which was not as satisfying as with our own characters).
  21. Bump. I thought I was they were returned in the patch notes, but I still don't have mine. Did anybody get theirs back?
  22. 4.0 patch notes says: Can anybody confirm this?
  23. Glad you agree, Ailaria. Last night I gave up doing missions in a flashpoint because it was too distracting. I thought crew skills were designed so they took care of themselves while you played the game. Now I am getting a clicky every couple minutes so I find it hard to "fire and forget" while I am questing, doing flashpoints, etc. So having some longer ones, auto-accepts, fewer alerts, etc. is something I would like.
  24. I would just like to thank the Devs for addressing this issue in 4.02. You can read more about it here or here http://dulfy.net/2015/10/21/swtor-fallen-empire-companion-influences-guide/
