  1. Hear hear... I want to get things done now that I actually have some credits to play it. (wish I could vote this up)
  2. I really never had a chance to participate in this event, and was unable to participate in 2015 due to reasons WAY beyond my control. It ran for a good while last year, and I'm sad not to see it happening this year so far. Any idea when we're supposed to have it again?
  3. Off-and-on. Simple as that. I can't speak for everyone, but I know that the screen gets awfully cluttered, and I wish I could soak in more immersion without the name of everything on the screen, or having to spend ten seconds sorting through the options to turn it on and off. Please give us a keybind option to toggle it.
  4. I cannot emphasize this enough. It DESTROYS immersion not having it. It's central to communication. If it causes performance issues, then let the END USER turn it off. If I may add: Toggle Hoods up/Down, and TOGGLE NAMEPLATES. Every MMO I've ever played has that feature, as well as chat bubbles, and people have been BEGGING for all of this since the game was released. Does that mean it's NOWHERE on the Dev's list? Also, think of the ***KILLING*** they could make charging 500 cartel coins to enable us to have a chat bubble! OOOH! There ya go!
  5. Sorry to be so late (VERY late) in replying to this, but I wholeheartedly cheer your addition on. Wish I could vote it up or something. Cheers.
  6. Would it be too much to have the droid say something to you when you summon and click them? Or have them do a task? I find the dialogue to be both humorous and oddly endearing. Lack of dialogue or interaction puts a huge quash on immersion. The newest expansion has proven to be fun, and more meaningful than prior expansions (by a vast amount) so I can say you folks are barking up the right tree. What I would suggest next is weapons flexibility with companions, new personal ship options, and even ship missions where other characters can operate turrets on a larger ship, but that's all been mentioned before. This is chiefly about being able to properly interact with followers. Kind regards, Xeth
  7. I'm enduring this as well. Wretched. I wish there were a workaround. I've uninstalled everything, put it back, etc. Nothing I do seems to work.
  8. Smugglers get a random (5-10 different missions, random, no two in a row) for dailies based on their advanced class types. Chiefly they should actually be SMUGGLING something, and doing a sort of a series of space flights. This can utilize space combat in tandem with ground work. All other classes operating on a similar principle. Bounty hunters get a bounty, Jedis protect / defend something, or even launch a small scale operation. Rescuing a kidnap victim, or somesuch. Even Smugglers can do such things. It's just important that it be CLASS specific to add to the variety. Imperial agents can do spy work, etc. I'm not going to provide a story line, or specific scenario because quite frankly I don't think anyone cares to read it, and I wouldn't get any compensation for it, because... I've noticed for two years people have been suggesting rather regularly that they allow HOODS to be removable/toggled. The callous disregard by the devs to these suggestions is rather stunning, but as a fan of the franchise, which WILL increase when the new movies are released, Bioware can put some serious polish on this game, and make it a LOT more fun for people to engage in their "altaholism". There could even be class-specific group missions. Heck, even space missions where groups can man turrets! This is STAR WARS, guys! Take the extra effort to do things that mean something to the community, and the fans. If you provide a great experience for your fanbase, you'll keep making lots of money. This game started with the bang, and is not doing that great right now. There's only so much pleading, and appealing to the developers good nature that I can do without it being an embarrassing waste of mine, and the communities time. I don't mean this to sound hostile, but it is more than a bit frustrating. You guys have done great in so many areas. Keep innovating, and you will have a rabid fanbase that expands! Cheers, Lannes
  9. The only thing I think would be appropriate in this sort of an instance would be a flashpoint type of extended Space Combat. Where friendly players group up, or are queued, where one acts as a pilot, two act as gunners, and a 3rd acts as a virtual engineer/damage control personnel. They have a reward for cooperation and that is PVE dailies. Though the social points do not seem to continue to accumulate, unless I'm mistaken. I just happen to think that the general need for cooperation the way it was prescribed by the OP exists already as flashpoints and general PVE/Heroics. Regards.
  10. 1. Cantina stools/chairs should be usable. Emotes such as laughing, coughing, waving, using datapads, holocoms, etc. Should also be usable while seated. 2. When two NPC's are shooting at each other, when one group of NPC's involved in the firefighting gets wiped out, the blaster fire should cease. 3. It should be hazardous to some extent to go riding/walking/sprinting through the middle of a firefight. 4. The planetary fly-by's, entrances/exits should be redone to make them look a bit more realistic. 5. Players/NPC's need to stop dying standing up. ---Wishlist---- 6. There would be quite a market for people being able to turn a regular item into something custom. I know this has to have been brought up before, but I have seen gear that I would prefer the look of that was "green". 7. Custom ship interiors/layouts 8. Special extended Multiplayer space missions. (Turrets, engineering/damage control)
  11. These could be restricted in battlegrounds, and contested/pvp areas, but I thought it would be a lore appropriate addition. Certainly not a priority over much needed polish, but I wanted to float the idea for the community to bash/discuss.
  12. This feature is available in every other major MMO. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why this one doesn't have it. It is immersion killing to have them up all of the time, and difficult to follow people you are in a party with when it is off. I do not think any more commentary on the matter is necessary. lol
  13. Big thumbs up. I agree with the whole hood thing. Forgot to mention that, actually, it's come to my mind quite a bit. Also, I wonder why Jedi Knights can't get a heavy armor piece that resembles a robe bottom? I like RP'ing my Jedi, and dress fairly humbly. You won't see the gilded shoulder pads or glorified robes on any of my toons. LOL
  14. Would appreciate the ability to hide whatever we want to hide, and to do the same with our companions. Is anything like this in the works, guys? Also, a costume feature similar to that of another game (Showing one thing, wearing another) is quite a boon to the RP crowd. Any word on anything like this? The 1.2 patch was a nice dollop of polish, but more needs to be done to make it really stand out. Having a TON of fun with this game.
  15. Another idea I had: If a player absolutely cannot use an item, they should not EVER be able to "NEED" it. I cannot tell you how many times it has been so many that they accidentally needed something they couldn't use, and felt bad because they could not trade it to the player that could have used it. Of course this probably does not happen so often in later flashpoints, but it is quite an inconvenience and injustice to early players. And I don't think it would take an overwhelming bit of coding to remedy that.
