  1. Nope, not running a linux system. Just Windows. Update to windows 10 as soon as it came out. Never had a problem until a couple of days ago.
  2. Hello, I noticed for the last couple of days that my game has been crashing. Yesterday, after reinstalling the game...I went and tried to replicate the crash to find out what/where it caused it. I discovered with having a open map window, that when you hover your cursor over an "Heroic Mission Area Icon", the game crashed. I tried this with three different characters on several planets. Every time I had the Map Window open and put my cursor over a Heroic Mission Area Icon...the game crashed. I tried playing the game without any heroic missions. No issues, the game played fine. I've have put in several bug reports, and constantly updated them when I was doing my testing. All I've gotten back from the Tech Support is the generic email saying that I need to look at the forums, update my graphics and drivers. Did not matter that I did the groundwork to find out what was going on & what caused the game to crash. They keep sending me the same spiel about checking my system. I even received an email from the customer support team (where at one point I called to discuss why I could not connect after one of the "Fixes" on the forum)...the email stated that there is a "KNOWN BUG" and that they are working on a fix. I would like to find out how to contact the actual tech support in person, not via email...I want to actually speak with an person to explain exactly how the crash is happening. I don't want a email from someone who is play acting as a "Droid". Someone who will speak to a paying customer and actually care, and want to do their job. And before some "Idiot" says stop your crying...I'm not a child or kid playing this game. I'm a senior citizen, who likes playing Star Wars because I'm a fan. I'm an actual paying customer who would like to enjoy the game, without any issues. As a paying customer, I expect exceptional customer service from the company that owns STWOR. I do not like getting the run around from people who won't even give their name and hide behind "Protocol Droid". Tech Support, get your head out of your fourth point of contact and do your job.
  3. Hello, Found by game crashing on me. Heroic Missions on Hoth and Coruscant bug with main Map window. Opening the main map window and placing your cursor over the Heroic Mission Area Icon will cause your game to crash. Notified Tech support and they said it was my system and I needed to update and read the forum. I replicated this error/bug with several of my characters on several planets...just trying to heroic missions and not having any heroic missions. Every time, it was the Heroic Mission Area Icon on the main map window that caused the crash. I found out that Customer Service knows about the Bug and that they are planning to fix it with an update. No time table as to when they will fix it though. Whatever you do, do not follow the instructions about deleting anything from the STWOR program files. This will lead to bigger issues. I followed someone's post and had to reinstall the entire game.   4. Hello All, After going around and around with the Tech people. I finally was able to get someone to admit that there is a Bug in the system. Took about three days, but yes...there is a bug where you are trying to do Heroic Missions. I found out the hard way when my game started to crash. With a little experimentation, I found (at least on Hoth and Coruscant) if you open up your main Map Window and place your cursor over the Heroic Mission Area Icon...the game crashes. Like I said, it took three days and a lot of updates on several tickets for someone to admit that there is a "BUG"...but at least they are talking about fixing it in the next update. And it was Customer Service that was honest to admit it. I'm still getting emails from "Mark" in Tech Support saying that I should check the Forums for fixes. The last time I followed his advice, I wound up having to contact customer service because one of the 'fixes' totally screwed up my connection to the game (had to reinstall the whole darn game).   5. My question is why are the Heroic Mission Areas designed to let other players/groups in? They should be made to be like a "Story Area" where once you enter, you "own" the story. Other players/groups should not be interfering with your Heroic Mission. I've been on several Heroic missions as solo in the past few weeks of these new patch's and have been setting up my attacks, only to be interrupted/spoiled by other players who jump past me or just run around and grab the loot/hit the mission items or kill the Bosses. Causing me to waste time waiting for them to re-spawn. Can we go back to the old way where you are 'in control' of the mission area?
