  1. Thanks, all input is appreciated.
  2. Question, if you lvl as ST, Mako should be all out dps?
  3. Thank guys. Yeah I know how to handle myself with heat, played a rogue a high lvls and tried scoundrel here but it wasn't what I was looking for. Do you happen to have a link for the build, tbsly? Thanks.
  4. Hi, guys, I'm looking for some advice on the class. My main is a Sage but I got a bit bored of healing and I decided to give the BH a go. Now, I think the mechanics are pretty easy to understand, yet since I'm not very used to melee I sometimes end up overheating. I'm around lvl 13/14, I mostly use the dart, then unload, mob comes to me and the uppercut (can't remember name), flame thrower and rail shot. In between I use my regular attack so I don't overheat. Is that ok? Is there something more effective? For the moment, I run with my Combustible Cylinder Gas since it's the only one I have. Should I switch to a different one on higher lvls? And finally, I'm mostly focused on PvPing, I'm aware that certain builds will do good for lvling and some other for pvping but my idea is to lvl with a pvp build that might be able to make my lvling up to 50 not that boring. Can you help me with that? I've put my first skill points into Bursting Flame. Btw, since the BH is an alt, I'll probably go solo. Any other tips you might want to throw in are welcome. Thanks.
  5. Any updates on BW's answer? Are they still evaluationg the "potential" issues?
  6. 1) So you were wrecking all classes, but the only class who was able to take you down needs to be nerfed? Understood. 2) Complete lies, mate. A level 25 did that to you? Or 20 something? Either way, it's all BS. Scoundrels/Ops get their opener at lvl 36 which coupled with talents stuns you for 3 secs, for you to get those talents (K.O. for scoundrels, Jarring Strike for Ops) you also need to be 36. L2P. Just for the record, my main's a Sage and I'm leveling a Vanguard.
  7. I cancelled a few hours ago. Still got 2 days on so if anybody wants my stuff you can have it, I'll just keep my main geared just in case if in a couple of years BW fixes this. Btw I play on Darth Malak, Rep, PM me. See you, guys.
  8. Unsubbed, I have 3 days remaning though. I play on Darth Malak, Republic side, if somebody wants my mods or money let me know, PM and I'll give them away. Had so high hopes for this game. Hope to be back in a couple of months when they fix at least the core issues.
  9. You guys are so easily trolled, this is his 3rd or 4th video if I recall correctly and every single time he does/says the same thing and you feed him. I'm one of your fans Territo, mad skills.
  10. hahahahah man, I'm at the office and I'm laughing so hard right now everyone's looking at me, damn, you made my day. +1 to you.
  11. Funny is that if Ops/Scoundrels get nerfed people will still play them and stomp on back-peddling noobs.
  12. Since when the Op/Scoundrel moves passively faster? Dude, you seriously need to l2p, the Op/Scoundrel is melee, but it will kite you and dps you down with the autoattack? Geez.
  13. I don't know. Warfare on the other hand...
  14. Having a Sage/Seer as my main, I had the same feeling with my scoundrel til I hit 36 and never looked back. Trust me, it can get frustrating, boring, and lots of things but once you get Shoot First it's a whole new world and, at least in my case, makes me glad I sticked to my scoundrel.
  15. Not really. You're a melee class but rather than having that crappy knife the Operatives do, you shoot your scattergun point blank into the back of your enemies. And you also punch siths in the face. Best class ever. Back to the topic, no, you don't user cover. Some people do, at higher lvls to exploit the sabo combo, but you're not a cover mechanic class.
  16. Even though I have a few more, I'll share with you the one's that I've found easier to remember when pvping 1 Quick shot 2 default attack 3 shoot first Q back blast / Shft Q Flechette round E pistol whip / Shft E pugnacity R sucker punch / Shft R Relic I've mapped them like this cause to me they're the skills you are always using. Open with flechette + shoot first and then your rotation usually goes back blast, sucker punch, you know the drill. Then I have shft 1 for the grenade, shft 2 for the dot, things like that which are usually on CD. Also one other thing that has helped me is: Ctrl 3 the cleanse - Shft 3 Disappearing act / Ctrl 4 cool head. - Shft 4 the enhanced stealth ability / Ctrl 5 the shield - Shft 5 flash grenade. This way I have my defensive cooldowns altogether and it's just a little movement from my finger for me to do cleanse+vanish+enhanced stealth. Of course you can switch the numbers to whatever you find more comfortable, but for me the key was grouping them in things I didn't have to think too much when doing it and making it easier for my muscle memory. I'm very bad at remembering the names of abilities, hope it helped you though, my main's a Sage but I follow the same pattern of keybing in all of my toons. /edit: Forgot to add: I unbound S and bound it to the CC breaker / Shft S Medpac / Ctrl S adrenal
  17. True, I don't consider myself a "pro" but I have played arenas to 2600+ and last night on my 40 Sage was killing 50's with pvp gear. I don't have the statistics to back up what I'm going to say, but from my perspective, most of the 50s with their fancy leet pvp titles and gear are people who had a lot of spare time and could farm/grind all their gear, which is absolutely fine since that's the way most MMO's are. Bottomline, yes, gear does indeed help and can make a subpar player somewhat competent, but when things get even you'll see good players stomping over well-geared keyboard turners and even more whining.

    Scoundrels and QQ.

So, my fellow scoundrels, what do you do with all the tears from your enemies?
  19. Operative/Scoundrel must be the least played class. Get to 50 and l2p.
  20. Usually moving to one side fixes it, it has happened to me several, several times. I know the solution is not moving to the side but having BW fix it, but until they do, try that.
  21. Thanks for the reply. I usually try to go wide too, flank them and strike, thing is that's not always possible and if I go stealth after the tank pulled aggro, I sometimes feel like I'm losing dps. Regarding stealthing after the tank pulled, I always get the "in combat" message. Thanks, guys.
  22. I have one quick question, let's say the tank charges in, do you guys go running in stealth to the back of the boss and start dpsing or do you go running normally and once close to the boss pop dissapearing act and start the dps? You must have noticed that some -if not all- bosses can "see" you in stealth, I mean, they place that circular sort of target thing on top of you. At first, after the tank charged in I went running unstealthed up to the boss to close the gap and would pop disappearing act and start my rotation, but found out that when I wanted to burn the boss down, my disappearing act was still on CD, but if I go running in stealth to the boss, I believe I lose a few seconds when trying to get to him. So, how do you guys engage bosses?
