  1. There is that option at least for some cinematics (auto-skip movies) forget where it is exactly but it exists. Doesn't work on the speeder bikes and neither does space bar. I've pounded it almost to death and its done nothing last 6 VS matches I defended so I'm calling bs.

  3. See another melee class that is gimped by requiring not just melee range, not just facing, but also positional. I have a scoundrel alt so I feel your pain.
  4. Yep, I'd rather wait in the arena until it fills. The guy who is "taking a dump" will miss the prompt and then a solo q'r will get in.
  5. qft, like roots and slows not effecting resolve. But really why not just add a button for Merc's that says *drool here to win*. At least the sniper above plays a skill cap class.
  6. Get out of cover then? Heaven forbid I EVER be able to jump on you. No, you should just sit behind your magic laser wall and free cast unlike any other class in the game.
  7. Right now this game is TOTALLY range benefiting. Slows and roots do not effect resolve, so the least they could do for melee is to allow moving through to work. After all MELEE has to be facing why the heck should melee be penalized and range not?

  9. Please fix this, seriously. If I want to be outnumbered I will go to ilum (I do). In a WZ it should be about skill, not luck or server pop for a faction. How about you not start a wz until 8 people have ACCEPTED a queue pop. Just do a check to see if someone is afk or not once you get 8 folks all accepting then start it. Better to have someone afk INSIDE a wz then having a wz spawn with 6 or even less on a side due to pop imbalance. It's really stupid. Having 6 or less vs 8 is an auto win for the other team in voidstar/alderaan this is just silly. Fix it.

  11. Title says it all. You basically are handing 1st defenders an auto-loss if it's during off peak hours where folks are slow to accept queues. Please get rid of this stupid, non-sensical, slower than molasses and not in ANYWAY adding to RP, speeder bike ride at the beginning of Voidstar for defenders. While you are at it why not make med centers semi-permeable and allow folks to leave automatically after 10 seconds as individuals or 15 or 20 or w/e. Then you can prevent luck wins where you wipe out a large part of the defending team at the same time and then, due to pure luck they auto spawn (door is down upon release) on defense, and boom a new full team. This happens in about 25% of Voidstar games and gives the lucky door team an HUGE advantage. If it happens once no big deal, but a couple of lucky breaks, or the opposite where they all die and get the full 24 can make or break that wz. Regardless of the last part, for the love of gawd, get rid of the speederbike ride. Totally pointless and actually breaks the wz at times.
  12. Funny, I kill snipers as fast as I can when I see them. Those guys absolutely tear up the other team and do it in a non-flashy way. No bright dual wielding sabers or double-blade sabers schwing schwinging. No lightning or giant rock spewing. Just nearly silent super ranged epic damage. Good snipers often top damage charts due to being ignored by the less aware players.
  13. Sadly it's not a bug. I have exhaustively read the Resolve bar thread and now use the cc breaker "appropriately" ONLY when resolve bar is full. Result? Very short immunity and then ongoing chain CC including roots and slows which do not effect resolve bar and have no diminishing returns of any kind. This is "working as intended". In other words CC heavy specs/classes dominate if the player is intelligent.
  14. Shuts melee completely down. Sents can use ONE channel which is used strategically as often as possible and therefore very often on CD and perhaps one of three 10m range attacks. They all require focus in one case 4 focus, which is a ton, and another requires you to have an enemy down to 20%. There is a third ranged attack which is very small damage but a healing debuff but all of them are 10m. Some roots are castable at +10m making melee worthless for the duration unless someone wanders into melee range. This is a frequent occurrence in huttball. A root on the fire is VERY MUCH control. No disputing that unless you don't understand the definition of control.

    I'm annoyed because I liked it and say the 11 vs 8 man wz exploit is a far, FAR bigger more game breaking problem. They should have just nerfed for stealthers, but w/e. I still rock in WZ except for that whole chain cc thing and yes I know to wait until resolve bar is full to cc break...but that's a different thread.
