  1. If you play as female smuggler, you can hit on that Zabrak guy from Protectors, but he'll tell you that he's married. On female trooper I had no option to flirt with him. So I assume, it is class locked. Back on main topic, you can flirt with microbinocular and seeker droid quest givers as male(empire side). Not sure about republic side as I have not started Makeb on my male republic toons yet, but my male bounty hunter could flirt both with Bo and with that sith chick. I haven't finished the quest yet, so have no idea if any of the flirts goes anywhere, but still, the flirt is right there, so stop complaining, there's new opposite sex flirt too. If you missed it, OP, it was your own fault, not Bioware's.
  2. You realize, you cannot farm for purple materials, right? They come from missions only, either on crit or from purple missions. Back on topic. Just finished purple slicing mission, and it returned two blue mats, one purple mat and one green lockbox. Hoped it is a bug, but after seeing forums I fear, it is intended change:( When you run purple missions that costs more, take about 2,5 hours to complete and bring only ONE piece of purple mat (and you need 4 of them!), it is more than frustrating. I have all the purple recipes I need already(augments), but cannot actually craft anything yet, as return rate of purple mats is ridiculous. So if they nerfed return rate so much, they should reduce the amount of materials needed! Because running 4 purple 2,5 hour missions to get a singe augment is plain stupid. As for market for crafters, even if prices go up, I will take care of my character first, and at the current rate of material returns I will not sell anything for months, so it is really not an advantage at all. Maybe to someone who has character only to craft and RP it is a good thing, but if you want the gear for yourself, you either take ages waiting for crits (since purple missions are nearly useless now), or pay money to farmers, not crafters.
  3. For smugglers, it is Ivory instead of Guss Tuno, Ivory is clearly a scoundrel and you can have him on your ship. And maybe that jedi girl (or that sith one for those who liked her) instead of Risha. Yes, it would be two melee dps-comps, but then, inqs have two melee tanks, so it would not be unprecedented. Though I would gladly have Numeb Brok from Balmorra and Lokir-ka from Voss too, but I understand that ship can hold only so much people. For Agent, it is Sanju and and exchange Kalyo for her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend (and chance to kill Kalyo would be a cherry on top!). Well, Anshpishel would be even nicer, but she is clearly not a tank, so it would mess with companion classes. Saganu is awesome too, but I do not see why he would join agent. For troopers, Jaxo or Balkar (depending on gender of the toon, maybe, for the sake of romance option?) instead of Yuun and Fuse instead of Vic. For Warrior it is Lord Draag instead of Broonmark, as Broonmark is the most boring companion in this game (I have them all and completed all the convos too, the first prize of boredoom goes to him). Also, he would fit in that spoilery Quinn story spot much better. For bounty hunter - just anyone instead of Scadge.Give me even some random silent mandalorian as a melee tank for all I care, just get this ******** off my ship! For inquisitors, consular and knight I like all my team and would not replace anyone in it (and I doubt BW would allow to have come companions above the limit). Though I would make Rusk as romance option for femKnights, because eww, Doc. Not touching that, so forever-alone:( Well, at least there's that girl on Makeb now;)
  4. have the same issue. Just no schematics that use this crap. But I'm mostly irritated for the fact, that there only two new nodes on Makeb, and they give you 2 different kinds of mats at random. So you cannot farm for useful materials anymore. I was more or less ok with missions returning random mats, but with farming, it is just unacceptable. Before I could look on the map and see that it is red vascular tendril or neurochemical bud and do not bother with clearing mobs to get that piece of vendor trash (even though some recipes used it, but those still needeed more of rare mats). But now you see that bioengineered mushroom, hope for useful compound and get this crappy viral residue instead:( Which is not used at all by anything. Even if there are some ops schematics that use this material, it is still far too overabundant. Why not match rarity of mat to the rarity of recipe?
  5. I have same problem with my HKs. I have both rep and imp HKs, capped at 10k and no achievements for it. Kill couts just fine, but no affection. All other companions (I have all classes) are fine and achievements dinged properly, but not my favourite HK who i use all the time now.
  6. Mission list refresh like every 5 or 10 minutes. So just check it now and then while you quest/run FPs and OPS, and you'll get all your metal missions with no trouble at all.
  7. 1. It will be like it used to be before they started to give away free gear. You hit 50, you get your daily armorings, hilts, barrels (tio-grade) and as for other purple parts, you buy/craft/get as quest reward (lvl 49 mods come from h2 on Belsavis daily) and enhancements come from H2 on Ilum). When you have it, you can go to HMs. I've been there myself with my first two 50s. After I started using Legacy gear and spare HM/ops drops for gearing alts. If you have Makeb, it will be much easier. You just proceed doing Makeb planetary quest and its planetary gear is about rakata grade. Even if you don't, you will be able to craft lvl 51-55 stuff for you. Or buy it from GTN.
  8. There are some places in this game you cannot fit as 3-4 bodytype male. For example, Athiss, the room with champions in it. On my bodytype 2 males and all females I can run through sidewall decoration, but on my bodytype 3 powertech I just get stuck. Same with that one shortcut behind the statue in Maelstrom, male types 3-4 do not fit behind it, have to really hug the statue to avoid pulls. More notorious is the datacron in Ulgo palace on Alderaan. Male bodytype 3 cannot fit inside the passway due to being too tall and your best hope is to glitch through with /stuck command. If skipping in FP is just a convenience, not being able to get a datacron is a legitimate bug.
  9. The problem is not so much people, but Group Finder itself. It allows to queue for double roles (if class supports them), but never checks, if the person has the field respec or the proper set of gear in their inventory (in case of tanks, heals can do with dps gear more or less). And if system allows something, people will abuse it, no way around it, same with current need/greed. Queues pop for heals/tanks faster and longer for dps? Let's queue for double roles and hope people won't kick wrong spec out. And even aside from jerks who queue for wrong role deliberately, many people never check off wrong roles in GF (don't know how, or just forget to fo it) and use default settings thus ending up in the wrong role. Also, GF bugs out sometimes and resets your settings to defaults, and some people do not even notice it until group starts complaining. And then you go "oh shi!" (had that happening to me, but every time I ended up as a tank due to a bug, I apologized and left the group. Most times I was able to catch it, though, and decline invite just in time).
  10. Been in beta, play since early access, all this time subscribed (well, had to skip a month couple of times due to RL issues, but never went f2p, just was not able to play) and do not feel like I am wasting my money. Especially since monthly price is about the same as two visits to the cinema for me, so TOR is one of the cheapest entertainment regarding time/cost ratio. Game became better over time, many bugs fixed (not all, but still, just remember early days, how horrible some things were!), they added many features I wanted to have (cross faction mail, both-faction GTN, match to chest and hide head slot for companions, group finder, more characters per server, etc), so there's hoping they add more(legacy bank! oh please, legacy bank!!!). Makeb looks good from previews and I liked changes for 2.0 I seen on pts. Game sure had it hiccups, but overall I'm pleased. The only big disappointment for me is that they do not plan to continue class stories in foreseeable future, as stories are the main hook of this game, and there only so many times you can run the same story till you get physically sick of it (I have 12 characters, 9 of them are 50, so the mere thought of going to Ilum at the end of the stories hurts me). Hope they will introduce story expansions frequently enough not to get sick of Makeb too.
  11. I really like Relaxed Jumpsuit set for casual look. My inq and scoundrel wear it. Also, handmaiden outfit looks pretty casual with its short skirt (has some skirt+hoodie+leggins feel to it), but is shows no skin at all, so I did not include it in last post. http://tor-fashion.com/2013/03/16/the-last-handmaiden/
  12. All crafted light armor (and drops from FP, and gear from commendation vendors) is covered, and as I understand, you want revealing clothing for her. Most of it will be from Cartel market, though. Investigator set turns into crop top on females, similar to traditional brocart (purchased directly from Cartel shop for lots of coins, but can occasionally pop on GTN). http://tor-fashion.com/2013/01/29/investigator/ Also, there are a lot of more revealing stuff Relaxed Jumpsuit, drops from new boxes, can be pretty expensive on GTN http://tor-fashion.com/2013/03/16/relaxed-jumpsuit/ And various dancer outfits From social vendor on Nar Shaddaa (needs Social II rank) http://tor-fashion.com/2012/04/06/slave-girl/ From republic security key vendor (need to have security key) http://tor-fashion.com/2012/04/06/republic-dancer/ And sets from different cartel boxes, GTN is full of them and you'll have no problem getting it for cheap. http://tor-fashion.com/2013/02/02/stylish-dancer/ http://tor-fashion.com/2013/02/02/fancy-reveler/ http://tor-fashion.com/2013/02/15/revelers-fine/ http://tor-fashion.com/2013/02/02/elegant-loungewear/ Also, there's Covert Torso Energy Armor, which is just invisible chestpiece and shows character's default top. http://tor-fashion.com/2013/03/12/covert-energy/
  13. Your wish is granted:) http://tor-fashion.com/2012/04/08/traditional-brocart/ http://tor-fashion.com/2012/05/19/hammer-initiate/ And yes, male versions are fully covered, with zero skin showing, while female ones turn into crop tops.
  14. First, those are not Kira but player characters with similar appearance (you can see that second one is agent, look at the weapon on the back) . Second, those are imperial outfits, so if you want to dress Kira like that, you are out of luck. They change the way they look republic side. The first chestpiece is imperial version of Traditional Brocart chestpiece (made by synthweaving). Republic side gets completely different look. Second one is Hammer initiate chestpiece (imperial version), drops from Hammer station flashpoint. It is medium armor, so unless your character is agent or maradeur, the shell is useless to you. Also, I would like to recommend you Torfashion website if you need to identify gear in the future.
  15. Reset the mission (open your log, select a quest. At the bottom there should be 'reset' button), and you should be able to enter again. You might need to redo some previous steps, though.
  16. While leveling, I'm up to killing all the trash, even look out for the corners you never go in on your way to objective. Not because I like it, but for that extra xp (especially when you use fp xp boost!). So I usually make sure at the start that we are not skipping, and if people do, I apologize and leave. Never understood skipping while leveling. What's the point? Lousy piece of blue(or orange with blue mods) gear you will vendor in 1-2 hours? When 50, I'd rather skip everything skipable, including bosses, unless there's someone undergeared in the group who can actually use the drops from bosses you can skip, or if someone asks to do bonus boss. Not only because I'm there just for 5 daily BH comms and do not need even columni drops from last boss even for companions, but because skipping everything makes more sense story-wise. In the fp storylines your group is basically small strike squad sent to infiltrate the enemy base and get the objective asap without getting too much attention. So when you skip, you can RP it as just being stealthy and skilled operative who does not get into unnecessary fights. As mgs fan, I enjoy getting past enemies without being seen. But again, if group wants to do bonus boss and is not completely hopeless, I can do it just to be nice.
  17. Love it! Since I already have 6 lvl 50s, doing planet stuff for other alts is beyond unbearable for me (same as running endless flashpoints or warzones), so double xp weekend is a godsend - just go straight for class storyline and do not worry about being too underleveled for the next planet. I wish I could keep double xp on forever.
  18. REing Warhero gear gives you those. And if you pvp all day long, you will be able to get tons of mats in short time. So right now pvpers can get dread guard lvl gear without ever touching pve. Some crafters even will craft for you for extra mats instead of credits, so you don't even really need to grind dailies for creds. They only downside will be the need to keep those ugly free tionese shells for set bonuses.
  19. The fact that companions cannot wear event armor is frustrating, all previous event armors are wearable by pets with no problems. Don't see why Gree armor should be any different. Speaking for myself, I will want to use event armor only on one character out of fifteen, and I just created him, and he's still stuck on Hutta. And armor requires lvl 45 to equip, so no way to use it now on character I actually want to use it on. But there are plenty of companions I would love to equip this armor on. So either apply reputation to companions akin to light/dark points (for example, Scourge is perfectly fine wielding Light V saber), or remove lvl requirement, so I can use it on the character I actually want to use it on. Also, with BW raising repair costs to (presumably) create a credit sink, I fail to understand why they limit another kind of cred sink, especially the one players would enjoy to use? The creds will be spent not only on buying armor but also on moving mods into them. But instead they created another reason for players to complain about. Are those guys masochists or something?
  20. Not all people in the area might do the same quest as you, OP. Some might farm mats, others might just pass by and pull mobs on accident. Some might have their class quest in the same area (for example, Consulars in Gormak Cannon area on Voss), and they are not interested in doing planetary quest at all because it's their tenth alt and they have done planetary quests to death. And if thats random invite from out of nowhere, it's insta-decline. I remember being on a planet once, gathering mats and get invite-spammed by some person in the area. After dozen of declines I finally get a whisper with proposition to group up for the quest as this person assumed I was questing too. Which I was not doing. So, this person wasted tons of time following me around and inviting me instead of asking from the start. Also, as for money and loot, you actually get less in a group. Yes, mobs might drop more money but those money get shared between members of the group and you still get less. And yes, the better loot might drop too, but what's the use in it if some random stranger will win the roll for that purple drop? Wouldn't you rather have green vendor trash, but solely to yourself? And also, purple things can drop for solo players too. The xp boost is neglectable. The only 'profit' is social points but not everyone is interested in them. If someone really needs help with the quest and asks nicely (aka 'can someone help me with quest please'?' not 'c'mon ppl, this **** is not soloable!111 group me nao!'), I will group up most of the time, but as far as non-heroic questing goes, I' rather do it on my own.
  21. Why not? I like the game and want to support it. It's not like 10$ is a lot. My lunch usually costs more. Of course, if you want to be all righteous about some 'unfairness' you see, you are in your right to do so. But so are other people who choose to pay for things they like.
  22. If someone from the group clicked on the item, the whole group got it. So check your mission items, maybe it's already there.
