  1. He's correct. Depending on class, anything beyond 1100 expertise is not optimal vs. your base primary stat. Some more than others.
  2. He's talking about sorc's having the least burst of any class and BW reducing burst even more. He's asking for some compensation in the way of abilities to offset the nerf even further to our pitiful burst capabilities. Reading comprehension is hard....

    Pvp future

I would hope so but I don't see it happening with the lack of population issues we're seeing right now. BW is not approaching this from an e-sport perspective like WOW does.
  4. World pvp is a hard thing to accomplish in MMO's. There's too many variables to be able to design on in my opinion. Usually it always ends up one sided. I do hope they hurry though and at least give us something to alleviate these population issues in an emergency patch ASAP. I'd like to stay but can't if I can't play and I don't see myself coming back if I find something else. In regards to re-rolling, I have thought about doing that on Fatman but I don't feel I should have to be punished or have to go through leveling again just to be able to pvp. Also I've put a lot of work into my current character and I'd lose all that which is unbearable. Perhaps they'll learn their lesson and pay more heed to pvp in their next MMO. Story driven MMO's are nice but what happens once you hit max level which is where the majority of the sustainable playerbase is? I'd rather they didn't spend so much time on voice overs and spent more time on sustainable and replayable content. I find it odd that so many developers neglect the PVP community when it seems that they're the truly devoted and constant demographic.
  5. PVP was neglected during development and BW has already admitted that. They didn't expect PVP to be such a large draw for so many. Pretty much all that's left to be honest is people who PVP primarily. Now they're stuck trying to play catch up and they're slow to do so. Pop's are so low that there aren't even queues anymore and people are leaving in droves. Open world pvp is not even on the radar right now, they have more pressing issues. Cross server queues would do a lot to alleviate some of these problems. Right now I cannot even get one WZ queue to pop all day long and thus I've had to resub reluctantly because I can't play the game anymore at all.
  6. Names are a small consequence for bringing a dead server back to life. Yes merges are bad for PR but so is a completely dead game if you don't. MMO's are based on healthy populations first and foremost. This is priority #1 and everything else is irrelevant if that isn't fixed.

    Daily PvP...

Same issue for me, no more queues at all. I only play pvp so I had to unsub because the game is unplayable at the moment. Sad... I actually liked this game.
  8. We really need the cross server queue's ASAP. Most everyone is reporting that their servers are dwindling quickly in regards to population and I see the same recently. For the first time since launch, I cannot do my pvp dailies because there are no queues. At most yesterday there were 15 people in fleet on a server that was very populated after launch. If this continues much longer, I'm going to be forced to unsub because I cannot even play the game anymore.
  9. Remedy did you used to play WOW as an arcane mage with the guild Most Wanted?
  10. I just got the orange augmented set crafted and then move the mods into it. The set bonus follows the mods, not the actual piece so it doesn't matter. You can have both 2 set bonuses like you did without grinding anything.

    BM bags

I hit BM two weeks ago and am 2 pieces from full BM now. I'm at about 40% chance per bag right now. Some will get more, some less. The numbers are too low to even out to their actual percentage. Welcome to introductory statistics.
  12. They changed this in 1.1.5. You can no longer be on a speeder by the time the match starts. If it's under the time the speeder would take, it just sends you to the starting area.

    BM bags

Because 10 bags is a large enough population pool to derive any sort of conclusion from. Random is random. Sure glad you felt compelled to make a post about it though.
  14. I like how your sorc example speaks to a 31/31/31 build. I must be doing it wrong.
  15. Haterz gonna hate. Your RP server is ----> way.
  16. It's you that must be new if this is news to you. Normal people don't care about community, I have friends IRL for friends, not random ambiguous people I'll never meet. If you need an MMO for friends, get a life. I play this game for the game, not the chat. Go to facebook or whatever if you want to talk about your sad life.
  17. Yay for cross server matching. More varied competition and more of it. OP fails to mention that there will be more interfaction games so you won't be stuck with huttball all the time and will get more varied game types even if the huge pool is unbalanced towards imperials. This worked just fine in WOW, it'll work just fine here. The losing community argument is ridiculous care bear stuff. Go play Hello Kitty Online, I hear they have a great "community".
  18. Class representation =/= OP'ness. I think sorc's were considered OP for a number of reasons, none of them due to any true OP ability or dmg. Utility, an ability to take advantage of a hybrid spec (design flaw) and lots of sorc's make it seem they're OP. Play one and they're really not, at least not anymore than any other class in the hands of a competent player. But I do stand by the argument about MMO PVP'ers are an incredibly whiny, emotional bunch who cry more than any other subset of the genre. Perception is reality and that generates QQ and misconceptions. True reality and verifiable data is another story altogether. What will be interesting is to see how many sorc's continue to PVP after 1.2. I know I will even though it will be more difficult and I will have to adapt to a new playstyle but that's what's fun about the buff/nerf cycle. Change is good.
  19. I use a Logitech G-15 keyboard and I just use one of the "G" keys to macro recklessness, my adrenal and my relic. Works instantaneously and works perfect for on demand burst. I assume you can do the same with the Belkin. Just look around in the software or you can remap one of your keyboard keys in Windows using any one of a number of freeware apps online.
  20. There is flawed logic in your argument but I'll ignore that for now. Using your premise, most would say sorc/sage is OP because they're the most played class and certainly so in PVP. However, that has been declining a lot lately and will even more so after 1.2 when they're getting gutted. Their healing is getting a major nerf and the popular hybrid spec is no longer. The ones that most people cry for nerfs on now are sins/shadows and they've gotten no nerfs in 1.2 so they're probably next for OP king status. But imo coming from a pvp perspective, classes are pretty well balanced. PVP'ers are notoriously whiny QQ creatures who cry about whatever beat them last regardless of reason. This is nothing new to MMO's and 99% of it should be disregarded.
  21. Unfortunately it's not a joke, he's really that clueless.
  22. I'd like to see some sort of immunity after your CC breaker is used also. Nothing crazy, like 2 sec or something. Too many times I've used it just to be CC'd again immediately.
  23. While I do think there are way too many CC's in this game, you do have to have some. Also the number of CC's wouldn't be so bad if resolve actually worked. So many times I'm carrying the ball with a full resolve ball and I still get CC'd. No idea how this happens. One thing is sure, they won't remove CC's from the game or adjust them most likely, they're too lazy. What they could do is adjust resolve to increase more quickly or stay active longer. That seems like an easy fix that would go a long ways towards fixing "stun wars".
