The debuff addresses the farming issue. The problem is that with a 2 hour respawn and so many guilds wanting to kill him, with schedules that require prime time, and continuously run into 2 to 4 other groups waiting on it every time it spawns.

It doesn't affect the Legacy unlocks. I completed the class series up to and including First Strike on Ilum and still have the Chapter 3 splash screen, but my Chapter 3 Legacy heroic ability, Legacy Flame Thrower works on all characters. (Nothing else is tied specifically to Chapter 3 completion.)

It would definitely be nice if you could compare items to companion equipped gear without having the companion summoned. Nothing like being in an Operation with gear being rolled for companions and not knowing it it's actually something you can use or not.

I completely agree. We could already go into an option menu to select either Public Test or Live servers. Since the vast majority of people simply play live, forcing us to take yet one more step to access the game is asinine.

I could see several variations that would be nice. Allow /friend to place a character on the friend list of all your toons on that server. Do the same with /ignore. Cause /ignore to ignore not only the character you see, but that person's entire legacy. Allow a legacy friend that requires the person to approve of the friendship. They would need to allow a person to either not accept, or simply leave a character off the Legacy Family Tree to be invisible.

It depends on the base item level of the gear. If you crit-crafted a level 49 or 50 item, then the augment slot already is MK-6. If you have an item that is base level 15, then it's an MK-1 slot, and will need to be upgraded to MK-6 to hold a rank 22 augment. The fact that you only have to do this when you CHANGE augments is awesome, since they could have just tossed all the augments into your gear and made you upgrade them to start with.

I have started to gear my Merc as an alt for guild HMs and eventually a second SM EC, and my guild is telling me that Pyro is the best dps build at the moment. Honestly, the way Rakata and Black Hole is itemized, it can be a real pain in the *** to get down to only 30% crit and replace all the extra crit/alacrity with Power. I'm in full Rakata with a BH Implant, Chest and Helm, and my crit is at 38.88% buffed, my surge is 255 (74.77% multiplier) and I'm at 267 alacrity, with 767.8 bonus damage.

Black Hole is not tier, Campaign is. Just as War Hero is the new pvp tier.

Blue-black are pre-installed in the Republic version of Rakata gear (highest tier level pre-1.2.) Red-black are Empire only, in Rakata. Yellow-black are exclusive to pre-order accounts. Green-black were exclusive to owners of Razer mice, but can now be purchased with Rakghoul DNA Samples (a new "daily commendation" on Tatooine.) NONE of the black core crystals are Artifice.

I have 4 50s, do I get 120 days of free game time? Seriously, though, even though I have actually leveled 5 toons to 50, I do think it would be much more fair if all those who qualified for the "Founder" title and otherwise meet the requirements got the free 30 days. My guild has several people who work insane hours, and due to playing on several toons to find the one they enjoy for raiding, don't have a 50, yet. Even though they pre-ordered and have had an active account since Dec 13. They deserve the free month just as much as I do.

I'm over 6300 affection and still slogging away with low gains from Republic Memorabilia. I leveled another SI for a friend, full Dark, and since I actually flirted, I romanced her and was at 10k in no time flat. The inability to romance if you don't flirt that very first time is stupid, stupid, STUPID.

I am intelligent and reasonable enough to not expect the scale of content that WoW has on launch. SWTOR is extremely stable, has great story lines, tons of lore, tremendous potential, and most importantly, I HAVE FUN PLAYING IT! What more reason could I possibly need to keep playing?

Would you care to elaborate? Your statement is so vague as to be pointless as it stands. What do you call game-breaking changes? Incidently, as a DPS Sorc, I don't have a problem with the changes, as all the do is break the hybrid Madness Chain Lightning spec. So I will have to spec full Lightning or full Madness. Hardly a game-breaker. The healing changes, however, are pretty harsh. I DO think people need to stop being so knee-jerk reactionary of initial patch notes. There are weeks worth of testing and changes to come before 1.2 goes live, so people should calm down until the final notes are announced.

With a game that has global distribution, there does not exist a time that won't piss SOMEBODY off. They choose to do maintenance at a time that is best for America, since that is where they are based, and I'll bet that globally, it is also the time with the lowest server load. Does this suck for you? Yes. I truly feel for you. But whining about it will accomplish nothing. There are only two ways to avoid maintenance during SOMEONE's "prime time:" 1) Never do maintenance, and the game will be a broken pile of crap within 2 months. 2) Someone invent a way to patch the servers from outside the time-space continuum. Pick me up a few Phasers and Blasters while you're there. While there are server farms for each region, they are not independent of the main servers in Texas, and staggering the maintenance could have major stability ramifications for the entire network. Do you WANT SWTOR to be as prone to crashes on patch night as WoW? If not, then the way they are doing it is the solution. In other words, suck it up and deal with it, because it's not going to change.

Those gems are indeed BoE after being removed from Rakata weapons, I just bought one off a guy on my server. If he sells it through the neutral GTN, then a Jedi could indeed buy it and have it equipped. There is no exploit involved.

You whiners obviously didn't play WoW during its first two years. For that matter, even now, with 7 years under their belt, they can't patch in a simple bug fix without hours of server crashes and lag afterward. By comparison, SWTOR is flawless. Get over your sense of self-entitlement and remember that the things worth having are worth waiting for.
