Sorry to hear that man, I would be pretty mad if my guild was assigned here and was dealing with this. why the didn't implement a server cap so people got spread over the servers more evenly i will never know. I swear, they prob could have hired half the forum poster and got better results with this launch. Did a majority of people who work for these guys never see or play an MMO before? Ugh, but then again, it people who roll on Full server who deserve to just get deleted and told to try again, they failed the server selection test.

The problem is not the launch or Bioware...it is the player base. Good lord. When you log in to make a character, do you think it is a good idea to join on that says "FULL" or roll on the ones that say "Standard" "light" etc... Or do you join the ones that say"very heavy" and think you will be the lucky one who doesnt sit in queue. When i join my server Anchorhead it was standard, 4 days later everyone and their brother wants to join this server. give me a break. The Launch was ruined by the players ineptitude at reading imo Edit, BTW just scroll down the server listing im seeing over 5 with queue times of over 1 hour, so saying 45mins is the longest wait you've heard of is just you not listening very carefully or someTHING.

Big reason I got the game, i mean it is a lot better than just go kill 10 <fill in blank> because you get xp, like in wow. There is the space bar button. BTW who the hell plays a video game and doesn't plan on being involved in the story line, like seriously you played Super mario, because you just like getting coins, or was it to save the princess 2) Too much instancing. This feels like a dead game, and my server is apparently 'very heavy. There's no atmosphere. I want to feel like I'm in a bustling environment, not like I'm in a singleplayer game with IM capabilities. Agreed, sort of. a little less instancing, not to much tho 3) No addons. This is critical. Part of the success of WoW is due to people being able to mod, within reason, the game to their tastes. I personally hate the custom WoW UI. I might not have played the game if not for addons that enable me to change it. How many people do you think chose not to play SWTOR because of something similar? If they chose not to play base on UI, they are just spoiled by Add-ons, not going to say TOR doesnt need them, but seriouslu, kids these days, 4) 1.5 second GCD/un-responsive system. Need I say more? Everybody wants an MMO as responsive as WoWs, and with the resources at Biowares disposable, I'd say they had the opportunity to make it. 1.5 GCD is bullcrap for sure. at time the system is a bit laggy, but not much for me, other complain all day about this. 5) The little things; honestly, did you not listen to your beta testers? Tracking buffs/debuffs on the UI is horrible, there is no targets target, there's no way to turn off the smart camera, too much CC, there's no scoreboard during Warzones, intros/voices at the start of Warzones. I mean come on, seriously? No targets target in an MMO? I don't care if they plan on adding it later, this is an important feature. Many of these small gripes could be solved by solving #3... implementing addons. Can't argue with this at all. There are many things this game does right. The combat looks amazing, the talent trees/classes are well-designed and fun. The world is beautiful and interesting, and the graphic style colourful and fun, but this is not an innovative MMO, nor one that improves on the current standard for MMO's. This is the most expensive video game ever made, but it seems they spent 90% of that on voice acting... All of this too. Edit: I am also well aware that many of these things might be solved further down the line, but this is not the way to release a game... you'd think EA have pretty good people working in market analysis... people will not come back, buyers have very little patience. No excuse. Release a finished product and people will stay. ^too. get it together before these forum chase away a player base.

So PLEASE by all means create a toon here and jam up the queue some more. I swear these have to be the same people complaining about queues, since their complaint stink of stupid, i figure they are the same people rolling on densely populated servers. You people who instantly pick a server based on a "KOOL NAME" like fatboy, or "DIS PLACE HAZ LOTZ OF PEROPLES" need to seriously just quit the game now.

GREAT, then get together with your friends and pick a less populated server...pretty easy. O you mean those friends you have in-game that you have no real ties to other than you did that one quest together...o...yeah ok.... I dont care about friends, i care about not seeing 1k ms when i log in when ive had below 50 this whole week

How about you pick the less densely populated server instead of the ones the say "FULL". Pretty annoyed to log in to see my server has queue time at 9:30 in the morning. There are plenty of servers please do over crowd them.

Yes totally agree <post drips with sarcasm> Wal MArt is super great. They shutdown local businesses, manufacturing jobs, warehouse work all over america, all the while relocating them to impoverished nations that they exploit to work for wages and hours you would think was a joke if you applied to such a area of work in any 1st or 2nd rate country. You blind dedication to Wal-Mart will be rewarded next x-mas when you go there to work for minimum wage and no health insurance. Good game.
