  1. So i went to update the game, figured i would get a hour of play in before my wife comes home from work... I download the patch, large but oh well they nerfed cybertech and bio, annoyed more... After it finally downloads and attempts to install. It says i need to repair, really annoyed at this point. Press repair, and then it says it has to download main assets 1 again. So it looks like I'll be lucky to play the game at all tonight now. Despite having 10 MPBS download speed SWTOR, servers are at a slow pace of 283 kbps. If you want people to stay around get your patch to apply correctly, i can understand a buggy game on this magnitude. But i would really just like to play the game without running into some huge annoyance like this. It's a game, I'm not a BETA tester, and i don't feel like downloading the game all over when your patch fails to install. my internet connection never got interrupted, i did literally nothing but watch the patch try to update. This is just sad, i can't even patch my game to fix the bugs.
  2. You see i like it when they call me slave, because it makes me feel special.
  3. My single favorite feature has to the deflection with a lightsaber. Behind the back when running etc. it's fun to watch. Second would probable be the bounty hunter jet pack, i haven't played bounty hunter, but it's cool to see some innovation animations such as that.
  4. every game runs on some kind of reward system thats why people play games. There should be some kind of rela world reward system weither it be a little xp, or a quest. That being said, people dying would probable complain non stop about it.
  5. I remember playing MMORPG's when you would go down 12% level each time you died, and would lose 1 item in your invetory or equipped lol. I liked that, made people to either get stronger or quit.
  6. the real best way right now is slicing, schematics sell like crazy on the market. But later on everyone will want to buy user made items so it's a bit of now or later. I would go player items now then switch out a gather skill for slicing end game. Because you can buy materials later at a half way decent price.
  7. This is what i don't get... If you can't heal properly you just shouldn't heal, i will do the self heal in-between if someone does not heal me (i'm a tank). But i have yet to be in a heroic when we have a healer and he does not just heal me all the time. If you don't want to heal don't, a tank should not have to use a medpack when there is a perfectly good healer.
  8. yeah.. i picked juggernaught knowing i couldn't change it later... Funny part is i'm probable the most useful character in heroics besides healers of course. I have heard of a lot of bad juggernaughts around. if you don't like your advance class start over, that easy.
  9. Looks like things are getting a bit off topic. What do you think bioware can realistically do in 3 months? I like some of the suggestion, but in all honesty character customization probable won't get touches until month 6 at the earliest i would suspect. Way too much work for something that would more than likely only satisify a portion of the customers. I do think it's possible to fix the auction house and UI though.
  10. I don't talk IRL i just write on a piece of paper what i want to say and put it above my head.
  11. I agree, i think they should maybe add a way to find a group besides queing for it. Maybe make the LFG feature a little more interactive. I do like just getting random invites from people wanting help, or having someone ask in general. Makes things more fun.
  12. i was on the twi'lek planet and there were maybe 20 people, day before there were around 50. Just depends where the masses of people are leveling at man. It sucks, but it will probable get better. New MMO's seem to always have issues like this.
  13. Like the title says, I’ve heard tons of complains, but people still play it like it's the best thing on earth. I won't say it's perfect, as far as MMO right now, I believe it's the best on the market. What improvements do you think will actually be "IMPLEMENTED" within 3 months? This includes particular bugs, enhancements etc. I don't see them doing much past fixing known quest issues, such as other players attacking your heroic wave and having to restart the quest. Or texture stuck etc. I don't really seem bioware throwing much out as far as enhancements until 6 months. Reason being the enhancements the community actually want badly will take a lot of time, but I do think bioware team is already working on some of them, such as a guild ship.
  14. dragon age 2 was god awful. I have friends who are rpg fans, love dragon age 1 big time, and then i have casually players who also loved dragon age 1, neither of them could stand dragon age 2. Dragon age to was GOD AWFUL. I'm not bashing bioware as a whole, they just made some serious changes that ended up being serious mistakes. They rushed the game out, with major changes, which ended up biting them in the ***.
